Jade Allen couldn't have been more helpful, kind and PATIENT. In a rather protracted purchase for my 84 year old mother, Jade and the team at PB were always willing to help and relieved a stressful situation for us all. Will definitely use PB again and moreover hopefully Jade is there to help us.

I found Perry Bishop to be faultless in the execution of the sale of my house. I was exceptionally impressed with their ability to market the house and find buyers very quickly and then follow up with the necessary negotiations. I felt very fortunate to have Lucy Hill championing the sale, she brought her knowledge and expertise to effortlessly pass through any potential problems. I was grateful for her council and understanding through the sale.

I chose Perry Bishop to sell my house as I had been really impressed with them when they were the agent who sold it to me. Much more professional and competent than many other agents I had encountered in my house hunt. Through no fault of Perry Bishop my sale was delayed but the team maintained a personal touch and great communications and proactive approach to helping me through it all. They were also great when I had to rent out the house as I used them as the letting agent then too. Basically, they have been great, trustworthy, great communications, professional and always felt like they had my best interests at heart.

We had a very good experience with Perry Bishop. The sales advisors carried out all the viewings and kept us up to date with feed back etc. We were particularly impressed with the after sale team, Sam Smith did everything she could to facilitate a smooth and quick conveyancing process which was greatly appreciated.

Perry Bishop were great all the way through - from putting our house on the market to final completion. They always responded promptly and answered any questions we had. They were professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The initial offer took only a few months in a weak sales market - but what really impressed me was the dedicated staff who took us from offer to completion. Approachable team focused on getting the sale achieved and smoothing out any bumps on that journey. I was deeply impressed by their friendly service and professionalism.

I would like to sincerely thank Michelle Murphy at Perry Bishop for her support, kindness, and quick responses throughout my buying journey. Michelle was always extremely helpful, answering all my questions within days and keeping me informed at every stage, which I truly appreciated.

That said, I do have mixed feelings about the overall experience. The seller accepted our offer in mid-March, and by the end of May both my solicitor and I were ready to exchange. However, the process extended until late August, and when we were finally ready to complete, my solicitor’s firm was unfortunately intervened. This caused further delays, though in the end I only took one week extra to complete from the originally agreed date after the intervention.

During this period, I went through a lot of stress and panic, particularly as I had already paid my deposit to the solicitor. Thankfully, I did receive my deposit back before completion, and everything was sorted in the end. I do not place blame on Perry Bishop for these circumstances, but I do feel that if the agents had been a little more assertive or clearer about timeframes with the seller, it might have reduced the stress and uncertainty I experienced.

As a first-time buyer, I have certainly experienced the worst in this process, but I am grateful that Michelle ensured information was passed on to me promptly and always before any deadlines. For that reason, I would still recommend Perry Bishop, with the advice to give clear deadlines to sellers early on.

Great experience with the Perry bishop Cirencester team. Selling my empty property and start to finish dealt with professionalism and courtesy. Kept me in the loop at all stages. Jade in particular was great at keeping the sale on track and sorting out all the inevitable glitches that come with selling!

The whole team were extremely supportive throughout. Without exception we were made to feel important and kept informed with plenty of viewings. Excellent help in choosing a solicitor to manage the speedy expectations of our buyers chain.

I was really impressed with Emily Sedgewick especially, she was so helpful and managed our tenancy agreement, assisting as a buffer between Goodlord and myself. Things were complicated and Emily needed to be in a lot of contact with me, however she was amazing and patient, extremely reassuring and efficient at getting the letting agreed. I'm very grateful for Emily and her patience and proficiency.

Excellent communication between the branch and customer at all times from the Cirencester branch. Our lettings negotiator was quick to inform us of any updates.

Very good experience with our probate sale. Communication was very good, (despite shaky start) we had lots of viewings and received emails detailing when they would be and weekly phone calls with updates on how things were progressing. Once a buyer was found, everything progressed smoothly to completion. Very happy and would recommend them. The front reception team were lovely and so pleasant to talk to. Thank you

Fantastic experience with Cheltenham Lettings. Although I haven't yet found my investment property, Sian has been a wealth of knowledge and we will definitely use Perry Bishop. The changes in law that is coming can be a mine field but I feel at ease now. Highly recommend.

I have used Perry Bishop as a Tennant and Landlord. Their Lettings department have always been helpful, made suggestions to assist me and kept me fully informed. Jane and other colleagues can be relied upon totally.

Disappointing experience after a promising start

Perry Bishop initially impressed us with their communication and the way they handled the listing of our property. However, as time went on, the level of communication noticeably declined. We had been emailing the sales manager with no response, only to later discover—after calling the office—that they had actually left the company. At no point were we informed of this change, which left us feeling ignored and uncertain during a critical time.

After five months on the market, with no sale and a suggested price reduction from Perry Bishop, we spoke to the new sales manager and agreed to take the property off the market. We were told this would be done the following day. However, after the listing was removed, we received an unexpected £300 fee for withdrawing the property. While this was mentioned in the contract, it wasn’t brought to our attention during the conversation about removing the listing—something that would have been both professional and courteous.
It’s also worth noting that many other estate agents do not charge this kind of withdrawal fee, so I would advise anyone considering Perry Bishop to check the fine print carefully and compare terms with other agents.

On top of this, we had to notify Perry Bishop ourselves that our home was incorrectly listed as a new build on Rightmove. This mistake may have seriously impacted interest in the property, and it was concerning that we had to spot and flag this error, rather than it being picked up by the agent.

Overall, our experience started well but ended with disappointment, miscommunication, and unexpected costs. I would recommend doing thorough research before signing with Perry Bishop or any estate agent.
