I needed a cat flap instillation
I had looked for someone to fit a cat flap in my window I received 2 quotes. The reason I went with petflapsuk. Was because the quote was broken into each section and very well explained. The customer support also was very good. I was kept informed of each process of my job as it was completed. I was able to take advantage of interest free credit which help finance this job for me. Josh the fitter was excellent a great credit to the company and so obliging.

Not great communications
I had to chase up after no contact after 10 days from either the fitter or about the delivery of the cat flap. On the phone I found out the cat flap was out of stock and they said they would send me an alternative if I was happy with it. The customer service rep was helpful on the phone but I feel I should have been contacted rather than needing to chase up.
Additionally the fitter took a while to respond the organise a date and time, only finalising the time the day before.

Thank you for the review. We have had quite a few issues with our suppliers running out of stock recently, fortunately we are able to draw on all the manufacturers for alternatives. Especially at this time of year our fiitters' diaries are choc-a-bloc busy and we try to fit in as many appointments as we can. We do hope your furry friend enjoys being able to come and go.
Disappointing experience
Whilst the local company that Pet Flaps passed the job to has done a good job, the communication from Pet Flaps themselves I felt was poor. Requests for updates on progress of the order were not responded to, I ended up chasing up with the supplier myself. Pet Flaps also sent the flap to my address rather than the supplier, so I had to make a 25 mile journey to take it to the supplier so that they could cut the glass, which is obviously very inconvenient. I don’t feel like the service advertised on the website matched the one I received so unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

As for you having to make a 25 mile journey to take the cat flap to them, that was quite ridiculous and unneccesary. Excellent service from initial contact to fitting, I chose the Beethoven pet flap and it is extremely well made and sturdy. First class communication throughout and very accommodating fitting around my work hours. Josh was fabulous and completed the fitting with great care and attention. Over the moon with my purchase and highly recommend.

From the start having made an enquiry with regards to the types of cat flaps and how they can be installed, Anna was very helpful and went through the options with me and was very thorough in the way she dealt with my query.
Once we had decided on the type of cat flap we wanted it was time for the survey. Josh attended our property and the great work continued. He stated that the process of survey to install should take roughly 3 weeks which it did.
Josh like Anna was very helpful and you could tell he took great pride in his work and it showed in his helpful and can do attitude.
Lastly I had the pleasure of speaking to John who owns the company and I gave him feedback with regards to the wonderful experience I had once the cat flap was installed.
John comes across as a very passionate individual who is very customer focused and strives for a superlative customer service experience.
I highly recommend this company they have a wonderful number of staff who all excel in customer service and are very knowledgeable.

After being let down a couple of times for our cat flap fitting we found our way to Pet Flaps UK and are very happy! Professional job
We had a chip reading cat flap 'Closer Pets Elite pet flap (355W)' fitted into a glass panelled door. The flap was delivered ahead of time, we weren't in for the delivery but Pet flaps customer services helped us collect the delivery from a local shop and checked it went smoothly. During the installation Josh was quick, knowledgeable and efficient. The job, and cleanup were completed in no time.

Fantastic service!
It was really helpful how I was texted the anticipated time the fitter would arrive. When Josh arrived, he was so polite, asking if he could come in, and so friendly and chatty. He asked me where about in the door I would like the cat flap, and was happy to fit it in the middle of the door, even though it would take him longer. He was also very considerate and suggested that he use the back door (where the cat flap was being fitted) and the side gate to go to his van, instead of going through the house. Josh also told me how the cat flap worked and how to link it with my cat. Absolutely fantastic service, highly recommend!

Quick, easy, perfect result.
Really slick online system, paid deposit, uploaded photos and measurements on Wednesday. Tony the fitter called on Friday and as it was a UPVC panel rather than glass, he was able to complete it on Monday. All cutting was done in his van so there was no mess and he's done a fantastic job. Three business days end to end, zero fuss. Perfect.

We needed a cat flap in our composite door and thought that this would be impossible! To my delight and surprise PetflapUK said that it would be no trouble at all! Good experience
Good experience with this company I had an existing cat flap in the wall which was broken they advised me what to buy very good communication with company and fitter Jimmy. Jimmy was very friendly and professional and finished the job quickly and tidied up all the mess before he left. Would definitely recommend this company.

Very straight forward process. Company provided quote via photos and sizes, arranged the glazier who visited quickly and 3 weeks later as advised the new window with cat flap has been fitted.
