The new teabags are useless as I have to dunk the teabags 30 times and even then the tea is weak compared with the old teabags with 15 dunks and the tea was strong…I will never purchase PG teabags again…It is sad because I used to enjoy PG Tea

Awful, they've ruined what was a good brew.

Tried the new bags, it was awful, threw the rest away and now buy clipper everyday or Yorkshire tea.

Useless useless useless. PG tips used to be my favourite. Their new bags just don't cut it. Weak and bettered by many of the supermarket branded cheapies. Last week a relative still had some old style pg pyramid bags - I tried one - what a difference - way better than their new rubbish. It's bye bye from me especially at their new mega high price.

Unfortunatly the new packing have either low quality tea in packs or quantity have been reduced. Looking for some other company with quality tea.

I started drinking PG Tips about two years ago. I found it to be much more expensive, but I felt it was worth it! I used to buy coffee more than teas but now it bothers my stomach. About April 2024 I couldn’t find the pyramid bags anywhere. I found out that in my local grocery store, tea is stocked by the tea purveyor. What on earth made you change your already proven product. Just because I’m in the USA doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy a good cup of tea! So long PG Tips😜 BTW…the new bags are filled with tea scrap! When I brew a cup, I use the same amount of water and the bottom of my cup has as much tea scrap as in the bag when I started brewing. And no matter how short a brewing time, it is always too dark and bitter. I’m very disappointed!

It appears that they were getting away with less tea leafs in a pyramid bag and are still using the same amount in there new ones, which clearly need more. Either go back to pyramid or increase the amount of tea leafs. The new ones are just too weak. Will be going to another brand as the new ones need two bags to make the same as we were getting previously.

The new flat pg tips bags are tasteless and powdery. Not a nice flavor. I have stopped buying them.

The new PG Tips square tea bags are disgusting. I have used PGT pyramid tea bags for many years, they made a perfect cup of tea. I will now have to find another brand.

Ever since the pyramid teabag went this tea has been an abomination. Doesn’t brew a nice tea (did they reduce the tea quality too or are these new teabags that bad they can’t make a good tea?)

Abandoning your USP of a pyramid teabag and a good brew is as stupid as Elon musk renaming Twitter x.

Back to buying Yorkshire tea or M&S gold teabags. Will not buy PG tips again unless they bring back the pyramid design bags.

My new box of tea bags have fallen apart making at least a third of them unusable

For the price pg tips not value for money

The new flat flat bags seem to contain a different blend of tea to the pyramid bags. I've tried the old pyramid bag (I still have a few remaining) alongside the new bag and there is a very noticeable difference in taste.
The new bags have a strange aftertaste, as if the tea is off or the milk is sour - which it definitely is not.

I will not be buying any more PG tips teabags.

Used to buy pg tips all the time, not anymore they are horrible, now I buy Yorkshire tea based on the flavour of pg tips I won't be going back.

Private equity (CVC) once again ruins a good product. Quality of the tea and the bags are both now rubbish. Another lost customer.

PG Tips, if you’re reading all these reviews, I think your customers are clearly asking you to go back to the old shape!
The new shape wouldn’t have been so bad if it had a bit of quality, they come is pairs and I personally waste at least 3 to 4 tea bags per box when I try to separate them, so if you’re not changing back, the very least increase the quality before you start losing your customers; doesn’t take much!

I used to love PG Tips and really looked forward to my cups of tea. Unfortunately, they have changed the bags from the Pryamid bags to flat bags and as for the new blend it is VILE and makes me feel sick after drinking. After being a loyal customer for many years I won’t be buying again -unless they revert to the previous blend.

I used to LOVE PG Tips but since they've changed from the pyramid design back to a normal teabag they are quite frankly crap. Tea comes out grey and I'm having to use 2 tea bags to get a remotely strong cuppa - not good with the increase in price for a smaller box.

I've even started experimenting with other brands to get a good, strong cup of tea.

PG Tips new '1minute' tea bags are beyond awful. I'm sick to death of the bags breaking, leaving tea leaves in my mug. For years they told us that their pyramid bags were best for flavour - and then they change them to standard shape tea bags. Even worse is the new packaging - absolutely awful. I've now turned to Yorkshire Tea and it's great. How many customers are they losing?

For decades I have bought PG pyramid tips... I'm witching to a different brand. The new ''blend'' is low quality and tasteless.

I have been a DEVOTED PG Tips drinker since 2009, and have always raved about their quality. Not sure what has gone wrong but their new flat bag style and tea blend is crap. They have taken the best tea product in the works (IMHO) and turned it into a crappy Tetley/Lipton copy. Why!?
