I recycled two laptops with Phobio. Did not even receive recycling value of $36 on one of the laptops despite receiving $36 for the other laptop. No explanation was provided.

Signing up for trade was clear and easy…
Signing up for trade was clear and easy to navigate. Packing materials arrived quickly. Instructions were clear; packing materials were well constructed. Literally took 2 minutes to package my MacBook Pro laptop. Phobio notified me within days their receipt, and updated me with each step of the process. Upon examination, turned out my MacBook was an upgraded model than the model I entered in the form. Phobio notified me and adjusted/ increased my trade value accordingly. Costco Ecard arrived in my email earlier than anticipated. Highly recommend service.

Trading in my old iPad was easy. The shop card came in a few weeks and I was able to purchase another product. I would use them again. I have told other friends.

According to the status tracker
According to the status tracker, the device was inspected and marked as "Payment Issued" on September 18, 2026. However, it has been 12 days since the inspection, and I have not received the Costco Digital Shop Card at my registered email address nor has there been any update on the transaction.

I turned in 2 phones and only 1 was credited. It was 2 ups shipments yet they were all jumbled up into 1.

Very please with offer and turnaround time
I received what I thought was a very fair trade-in offer for my older M2 Mac mini. The communication was very quick in coming from Phobio after I initiated the trade-in through the Costco website. They sent me the trade-in box and after I returned it they turned around and paid me out a Costco Shop card very quickly. Very good.
