Easy, great experience

Easy online application and shipment. I received timely communications from Phobio and felt safe to do business with.

Never buy anything through Motorola's trade-in program. I purchased a bundle directly from Motorola (Order #K840082015) and promptly sent in my trade-in phone using the official prepaid shipping kit Motorola mailed to me after I placed the order on their website. When I didn't receive my trade-in credit and contacted support, I discovered that Motorola outsourced the entire process to a partner company called Phobio. From there, both companies simply pointed fingers at each other, claimed they never received the package, refused to pay me or return my device, and effectively stole my phone. Phobio does not even have a customer support phone number, while Motorola washed their hands of the whole situation—anyone can verify this absolute nightmare under Motorola Case Reference #260916-001418 (Phobio Reference #30318335442).

I like the process overall, although when the payout isn’t the same as the quote, that when there is an issue. There was NO explanation of the price to go from $70.00 to $23.00?

Terrible service- no response. No follow up, slow info. Phone numbers don’t work. Submitted on dashboard-zero response. Do not use phobio

Initially offered $160 trade-in. After inspection: $32 because of a small cosmetic crack on the casing. Nothing wrong with it mechanically. I contacted them to ask for a closer review and explanation. Received an canned AI response. I already factory reset and deleted files. I trust Costco, but they have partnered with a shady company. Avoid Phobio

Easy process. Kept well informed of every step. Price paid was reasonable.

Everything was delivered as promised.

I quickly received my return box to ship off my tech but there was no return label included. I went to my dashboard followed the instructions to print out a return label and it was disabled. Sent an email to Phobia customer service and after a few days with no response sent another message. Had a response a day later that a QR code would be sent for a UPS Happy Return. Not sure what was lost within the messaging as I only needed a label. My tech was sealed and packaged already! Finally went thru and received my trade in but it was a bit of a hassle.

Phobio mistakenly sent me the wrong size box to ship my MacPro. My 16" MacPro would not fit as box was meant for an iPad. Phobio Customer Service, provided UPS Happy Returns which allowed me to ship my MacPro. Not being able to call Phobio Customer Service is irritating as I had to send email and wait for several hours to a day or two for their reply.

I was not satisfied that I was originally quoted for $151 for my iphone, but then it was inspected and valued at $31. It was fully operational and in good working condition and should not have been devalued by so much.

I don't know how long does it take to get digital payment confirmation via email?

I never received my gift card of info on how to collect it!

Very easy to understand, do, and no nonsense process.

They made it so easy. The hardest part was qualifying it as a trade through Costco. I had to ask AI to help me answer all the questions to get through the process. Other than that, all was great!
