Unfortunately the situation has not been resolved. I am still waiting to receive the requested surrender proceeds on behalf of my 92 year old mother.

I was miss informed,
Repeatedly asked if I drew out the critical illness section could I continue paying into my policy to enable me to pull the final amount at a later date. I was assured and the young lady checked. (Had me holding on line). Plus called me back and confirmed. Yes continue paying into the policy until I’m ready to finally pull on the policy. Only to find out that was not so!
Not only that money was taken from my bank account for over a year PHOENIX LIFE are now saying they have not had payments. If that was the case why had they not written to me as payments were made from my bank! I’m a pensioner and lost money on a policy I’ve paid into since 1997,

My financial consultant requested information on 2 pensions, Phoenix only produced information on 1 pension, this ment we had to start process all over again. If i needed my consultant to deal i would have needed to pay him a second time, therefore i had to complete on my own, i took a cash payment to make rhings easier for me if my consultant had been involved thiswould have gone into another portfolio.
