Hans is very knowledgeable and patient. When we were looking to purchase an upright piano and were playing various pianos to listen to the acoustics, Hans was very attentive, explaining the various nuances of a model. We spent more than an hour playing various pianos. We purchased a 2nd hand Kawai upright piano and are very pleased with the purchase. We would recommend Austral Piano World to anyone looking to purchase a piano.

I was assured that the piano I purchased was in stock and would be shipped to me on the following Tuesday. On Tuesday I received a phone call to tell me that when the company organised to deliver the piano called to collect it there was no piano in stock. There would be no piano available for about 4 weeks.
This lack of communication is not acceptable and certainly makes me wonder why the sale point and the warehouse are not communicating better.

I wait a long time for delivery，maybe 3 weeks . I didn’t get my purchase now. it will be come on next week.

These guys went absolutely above and beyond trying to meet my needs as a customer; not just stopping at shipping the order, but following up throughout with the transport service, as well as recommending a local guy to help deliver and assemble my piano, who himself provided amazing service.

Hans and Steve at Austral Piano World could not have been more helpful, patient, courteous and motivated by a genuine love of pianos. They took the time to answer all my questions in great depth and I never had the sense that they were trying to close a deal or push a particular choice - they really had my best interests at heart, and have the expertise and long experience to help the customer. (I am a reasonably serious pianist and music teacher, and a professional composer).
I want to go back and visit them, just because they were so charming and kind!

Hans was instrumental (no pun intended) in the recent acquisition of our upright digital piano. He listened to our requirements and gave honest advice. Due to lockdown he also went above and beyond to provide photos of colours, etc of different pianos in the store. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Seems like the one stop shop for all your piano needs. You won’t be disappointed.
