James and Mark are amazing. I got into FAANG with help and guidance from them. If you want to go into top tech company, placement is the way.

Placements products lineup was most useful for me during the initial stages of my search. They have helpful guides, a great search tool for reviewing job postings, regularly scheduled webinars, and a nice kanban style board to keep track of where you are at in each role you apply. The company was making changes during the time I actively used them so there were a few hiccups but overall Placement itself was a solid 4 stars in my experience.

What kicked my review up to 5 stars was my coach at Placement, James. I opted to work with James Conti 1:1 and he was incredibly helpful. I was feeling pretty unsure of my direction and strengths when I started and through our discussions he helped me narrow my focus and find that confidence again. I had a very wordy resume that he helped me shorten and modernize, and which I now feel not only appropriately displays my work history but also reflects my out-of-the-box entrepreneurial spirit. James is a great communicator, a true coach, and is generous with his time. (Thank you James!)

Mark was really helpful in me being able to find a job. Before I signed up with placement I had seven interviews with no job offers. After signing up, taking a workshop and doing a practice interview (where I got a lot of great feedback) I had three interviews with two job offers. Placement is a great investment and made the difference in me being successful in my job search.

My experience with Placement was amazing! I found them via an instagram ad after I lost my job back in November 2020. I loved that they had a screening process first to determine how they could help me. The tools on the placement app are also super helpful to track job leads and progress. Ariella was a wonderful coach. Working with her really boosted my confidence and helped me get laser focused on roles that best aligned with my personality and my goals. I was switching from financial services to tech and we were able to identify and flesh out my transferrable skills with training she recommended. Jeff Fortin is the absolute best! I worked with him for about a month with the Christmas/New years holidays in between. I was also in the beginning stages of my small business and grad school. Jeff quickly adjusted to my busy schedule and communication style (I preferred texting over email). We workshopped my resume and LinkedIn for each application I submitted, had quick coaching sessions before my interviews, he guided me through how to send follow up emails, we even reviewed and turned down a few offers that did not have my 🤩 rating. After all the focused effort, I landed a role at a big tech company! The offer was 2x what I was making at my last job and $15k more than my Placement goal! Alaina also connected me with someone in her network at my new job I've buddied up with to make onboarding smoother. If you're thinking of joining Placement, do it now!

This is an all inclusive program. If you're just starting out or for those looking for advanced positions, this program is tailored to the individual. I had multiple formal offers matching all criteria requested. The key here is structured communication, milestones during the process, and a robust internal network. Working with my coach Jeff was a breeze! Would recommend to anyone!

I had a fantastic experience with the Placement team! As someone trying to crack into the tech industry for the first time, the support and feedback from them (particularly my 'Talent Agent', Jeff) was invaluable. Most importantly, they help you build your narrative to show your true potential to recruiters. I will be recommending Placement to any other friends entering the job hunt.

This was the first time in my difficult job search that I finally felt like I was getting somewhere. I lost my job because of Covid in April of 2020 and felt like I was just spinning my wheels, applying for job after job and hearing nothing back. I thought that having Placement's contacts would be the best thing about working with them but not true! I worked with my awesome coach Mark and he helped me with my resume, cover letter, pitch, LinkedIn updates, etc. and was there on the phone with me every week to talk me through. I got an offer and now I have a professional resume, know how to write an amazing cover letter, and feel I can answer any interview question in my sleep. Truly a great experience and I'm so thankful to have had them in my corner.
