I spoke with Rich this morning to organise getting the radiator supplied and fitted today. Very fast service with professionalism shown by both guys who came. The radiator looks good and the pipe work neat. Would recommend to family and friends. Thank you again for doing the job in such a timely manner.

Richard came out when I had an urgent leak in the kitchen, despite it being late on a bank holiday. He fixed it very quickly, was polite, friendly and also gave me some further advice.

I would recommend as they did a very professional job, very well mannered and didn't feel pressured. Came to quote at a time that suited my busy life style and even though at first the wrong size was sought, sorted the problem and fitted the pipe very well.

PlumbGas365 provided reasonable service, but there’s room for improvement. Rich and Josh worked hard installing my boiler, though challenges arose. While professional and friendly, some delays were faced due to unexpected issues. Work was tidy and respectful overall, but the experience didn’t stand out as exceptional. A solid average service—a modest recommendation.

The 17 year old combi-boiler needed replacement. It was housed in a bathroom closet and quite low down making access to the pipework limited, so I chose another Valliant boiler with the same connector arrangement. I selected Plumbgas365 to do the job based upon the good on-line reviews and the fact Richard was quick to respond and come and visit.
The installation took just over half a day, Richard’s workmate Josh doing the tricky job of mating up the original piping with the new boiler, squeezing himself into the small space. The bulky magnetic filter, now a compulsory fitment under Building Regulations could not go on the desired return pipe under the boiler, so had to go on the flow side. Much of the flue was re-used, although a new flue kit came with the installation pack. I kept the new flue kit as the flue seal on the outside of the house is coming towards the end of its life.

On completion of the work Richard and Josh tidied up. Plumbgas365 did not offer to dispose of the boiler but directed me to use a scrap merchant, which suited me as I have someone local I know. The merchant paid £20. Mind you it must be said that this method of disposal may not suit everyone as a boiler typically weighs around 40kg!

Richard to his credit did call back the next day to check all was well and I did have him back to tighten a weeping water joint. At the same time the magnetic filter unit was lifted slightly so that the magnetic sleeve could be correctly fitted.

Now for some general observations. The silicon rubber sealing gland where the mains cable runs into the boiler was cut out roughly and oversized so compromising the air-tight seal of the boiler case, which the manufacture was trying to achieve. Careful trimming simply done with a sharp blade would have worked better! Also I could not help noticing a lot of tool-marks on the brass nut connections to the boiler, presumably caused by a pipe-wrench or similar which just rely on grip. A good-fitting crows-foot wrench spanner, which angles to get into tight spaces, would have likely made the connections look less scratched and the job easier. On the plus side, the soldering of the new pipework sections was done well.

The heating is now up and running smoothly, so overall it’s a success. I do feel the right tools and a bit more care was needed, so 4 instead of 5 stars. I suppose I may be a bit more critical than the average customer, having spent many years supplying and installing industrial equipment.

Came home from holiday to a broken boiler. Rang up on a Saturday morning, phoned answered quickly and came out within 2 hours of calling. Arrived on time and fixed issue quickly and got the boiler back up and running. Thank you Richard

Had a burst pipe and Josh and Richard were absolute lifesavers! They came out the same day to stop the leak, ensuring I could still use the water, and Josh returned the next day to fix it properly. Professional, efficient, and friendly—couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend!

I recently used PlumbGas365 for some plumbing and heating work. Richard and his apprentice Josh were friendly, professional, and worked hard to get the job done. They kept things tidy and were respectful throughout. While the service was generally good, there were a few hiccups along the way, and it did take a bit longer than I expected. Overall, an okay experience, but room for improvement. 3 stars.
