Good Efficient Company

Excellent crate hire service
PlusCrates have been very efficient, helpful and friendly from the initial online order through several follow-up requests to their offices over several months. At all times, the customer service has been excellent even with last-minute changes. The delivery driver was punctual and very helpful for the initial order and made a point of arriving at a suitable time. The driver was very willing to put the crates in various rooms as was most helpful for me.
All crates were clean and generally as I would have expected when ordering.
TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE. First they broke my order. Then they rescheduled delivery and failed to tell me they weren't delivering as they were now missing parts of my order. Took a day off work and only discovered they weren't coming when I phoned to chase timings

Not good enough service
Avoid at all costs. Made an order for today thinking it would be delivered before noon, as their own website advises. Nobody calls me and nobody picks up the phone in the depot. When I finally get hold of someone, they try to contact the driver, he doesn't pick up the phone, they try to track him and after a while they find out that my order was going to be delivered before 2pm. I could not stay due to other commitments. They will not deliver on a Saturday (and they tried to make me pay extra) and the next date they offered is Monday. Then they offered a refund and said I would receive an email, which I have not received. I now had to make alternative (more expensive and urgent) arrangements for the crates with another company. This is not good enough service.

Shocking "Customer Service"
This company was supposed to deliver 10 items to me last Friday. Prior to this, I was told that they'd only received part of my order and were waiting for all 10 items before sending them, so I was confident I would be receiving my order in full, and had no reason to think otherwise. 8 of them showed up, one of them was damaged and a 9th item was in the van but it wasn't part of my order. Having had to take the day off work tor receive this delivery, I called Pluscrates and explained the situation. I was as understanding as I could be given that mistakes do happen, and even though it was a huge disappointment and very inconvenient, I was told the missing items would be delivered on Tuesday (today) so I left things there. I even called yesterday to confirm I would be receiving both items today. I took another day off. One item showed up. While the delivery drivers could not have been more apologetic and helpful, (Luke, thank you) the "customer service" I received on the phone was the worst I've ever experienced. Sasha was rude, defensive and implied that I was a liar before refusing to provide me with a telephone number for head office. Having had TWO very bad experiences with this courier service in the last 5 days, I was completely taken aback by the nature of the phone call and I ended up shaken and honestly, extremely tearful and upset. I do not understand how something that is so clearly not my fault was twisted in such an unfathomable way to try and shift the blame. Now, they are claiming that they received all my items at the same time (not what I was told originally) and that all items have been sent to me (again, not true) but somehow I'm the one being untruthful? The phone call today ended with me being told someone from head office will be getting in touch with me "in due course" and I am yet to hear a word from anyone - and yet to receive the missing item itself. Do NOT use this company.

They delivered crates, left them in nearest room, refused to remove all packaging even though it’s clearly marked on their delivery note to do all this.
Very poor customer service. No one picks the phone up. Was “accidentally” disconnected several times before I managed to speak to a human being.
Eventually spoke to the owner Nick Flaxman. He didn’t seem bothered, no compensation offered. The conversation was a complete waste of time. I heard him say “it’s happened before and it’ll happen again”.
No wonder the drivers don’t care and continue to do as little as possible.

A package should have been delivered today, I called the number I was provided 3 times no answer, I then called the main customer service number 4 times, everytime I was transfered to another number that went straight to a Voicemail.
5th time I call through "oh sorry the number I was sending you through to they are on holiday" sent me through to the Manchester office.
I spent over £1000 on an item, and Pluscrate have made receiving the item impossible, never reached out to me to arrange a delivery and now no matter how many times I call I cannot get my delivery arranged.
6th call "oh we had the wrong number so couldn't contact" really, that's your excuse? Didn't want to reach out or anything, but then states "oh we definitely text you" so which is it, you had the wrong number or you text?
I would never ever recommend this company, I work for a large Ecomm company and work with logistics companies often, I have never experienced anything like it, don't believe the reviews that have been left for this company.
Although we had a delivery date set for 11th now they are telling us that it can take upto another 10 days.
The worst service I have ever experienced and will avoid buying from any company if they are going to use this company for shipping.

Pluscrates are a little bit cheaper for their crates, but delivery is a little more, but trust me it's worth it! Some companies don't even deliver your crates on the day they say they will, so no wonder the delivery is cheap. Trust me, just use these guys! You won't be disappointed.
