I contacted PreScan the day before my appointment to inquire about any dietary restrictions. The representative took my number and mentioned I would receive a callback, which never happened. On the appointment day, I arrived 10 minutes early to complete paperwork. Afterward, I saw the GP and then waited for my MRI. After a wait of 1 hour and 40 minutes, I informed reception that I might need to reschedule due to a train I needed to catch, which was planned based on my appointment time. The staff member who welcomed me later came upstairs to apologize for the delay, though no explanation was provided. I found it surprising since the PreScan website FAQ indicated only 20 minutes should be allocated for the GP, not an hour. The delay was such that I couldn't wait for the radiologist to explain my results after the MRI. I was promised a call the next morning but didn't receive it until Monday evening, four days later, while I was on a train, making it impossible for me to answer. Although a message was left, it didn't include a call-back number. The staff was very pleasant, but the service didn't meet expectations, particularly considering the high fees, which didn't feel justified.

All the staff at Prescan were kind, friendly and extremely helpful. They answered all our questions and gave us all the information we needed.

AMAZING SERVICE

I had an appointment today at Prescan in London and the service was phenomenal from the beginning to the end.
The booking service was easy, people welcomed me warmly and explained everything in a very easy way. I was made very comfortable baring in mind scans can be unsettling also... - the GP Dr. Khan put me at ease, so did Victor (the person who did the scan), Stephan (who welcomed me), and then the Dr. who explained the scans to me.

It is a shame you are closing your branch in London because the team you have is incredible!

I was dealt with professionally and with care from my arrival until I left. Everything was explained clearly and enough time was allowed for the consultation. My appointment was on time and everything was done efficiently.

A excellent experience all round.
Particularly impressed with Dr Khan.
He was emphatic, as a human being; and most informative and detailed in his consultation as a Doctor.

Long waits between GP, scan and analysis.

GP’s nostalgic anecdote of using a manual drill to operate on a patient’s skull, and indicating where that would be on my head for my lesion, prior to my brain scan did not contribute to a calming experience.

Scan itself was highly disturbing due to headphones playing some unwanted radio station and YouTube music simultaneously. Request for it to be stopped ignored. Did not create confidence in operator’s ability to use technical devices. Very uncomfortable and had a serious headache afterwards which I never had in previous scans.

Analysis was fine but will get a second opinion anyway as my confidence in the professionalism of the organisation is not high after the visit. Have not received written report yet.

Would have been five stars but really disappointed that they couldn't compare findings with our previous scans at Highgate

Great facilities - as you would expect

Every person I met at Prescan was courteous and skilled. I trusted them all. The doctors were especially caring, knowledgeable, and explained results in a clear and actionable way. The systematic nature of the exam has given peace of mind. I will recommend the experience to my friends.

Excellent prior, during and after the service. I have used Prescan multiple times and every time they have been truly excellent. Being extremely disabled, they have been very accommodating and considerate with Margaret in London being a superstar each time. Would also like to thank Stephen and Dr Khan as well as the entire team for their help.

I have been thinking about having a preventative screening for a long time, and I am so glad I did. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Margaret, Lesley and Stephen could not have been nicer, and went above and beyond. They made me feel so comfortable and at ease, with what could have been a stressful time. I highly recommend this service. The clinicians were professional and knowledgeable, both Dr Khan and Dr Siddiqi were amazing. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to my loved ones .

I recently had an MRI & CT scan with Prescan. The service I received from start to finish was first class.

I was apprehensive and a little nervous when I arrived however all the staff put me at ease immediately. They were so professional yet very friendly and I felt in safe hands from the get go.

I did a lot of research online before choosing Prescan. They may not be the cheapest, but what set them apart for me from any other MRI centre, was their same day MRI reporting. Nowhere else seems to do this. I sat in with the radiologist immediately after my MRI scan and was given my results there and then. Thankfully all was OK. Paying the little extra was well worth it. The peace of mind was priceless.

I cannot praise the service enough and would encourage anyone who is considering booking with Prescan to go for it! You won't be disappointed.

I called PreScan the day before my appointment to ask whether there were any restrictions on eating or drinking prior to the appointment. The lady took my number and said that I would be called back. I never received a follow up call.
On the day of my appointment I turned up 10 minutes early in order to get the paperwork done before my appointment started. Following this I met with the GP and was then told to wait for my MRI scan.
After waiting 1 hour 40 minutes, I told reception that if my MRI did not start soon I would have to leave and return another day as I had a train to catch (booked based on my appointment time).
The individual who had greeted then came upstairs and apologised for the delay (without explaining why there was a delay) and then said that as part of the process, an hour is allocated to see the GP. This was surprising given that on the PreScan website it outlines a typical appointment schedule in the FAQ section. It clearly states that only 20 minutes is allocated for the GP not one hour.
Such was the delay that after my MRI, I was unable to stay to have my results explained by the radiologist. I was assurred that I would called the following morning - a Friday.
In fact, I received an unsolicited call without prior arrnagment on Monday evening, some 4 days later. Being on a train I was unable to answer but in the message that was left I was told I could call but no number was left.
While the staff were very friendly, the service has been shocking. Given the prices charged, this does not represent value for money at all.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Prescan and I couldn't be happier with their service. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and efficient.

First and foremost, the staff at Prescan were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment I stepped into the clinic which was was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Stephen took the time to explain every step of the procedure to me, ensuring I fully understood what was going to happen. And Dr Khan, the GP, was without doubt the most engaging and knowledgeable GP I've ever encountered.

I was also impressed by the overall organisation and efficiency of the clinic. Appointment scheduling was quick and easy, thanks to Margaret, and I didn't have to wait long before being seen.

What truly set Prescan apart for me however was the same day MRI reporting. I got my MRI results straight after my scan. Dr. Sadiqi the radiologist was incredibly professional. He took the time to explain all the images to me in detail and answered all of my questions. I left with peace of mind about my health, which was priceless.

All in all, Prescan showed genuine care and attentiveness throughout the entire process. I felt supported and valued as a customer and I shall definitely return!

Liked the price and added blood test.
Disliked the fact that the website did not mention that it could not detect internal organ cancers. Also that it said 3 scans but did not mention that they would all be done together with no breaks between.

The whole process was well organised, sensitively handled and clearly explained from initial booking with Lisette, through to the discussion of findings with Dr Khan and Dr Siddiqi. Highly recommended.

Now I am in my 70s every two or three years I visit Prescan to make sure everything is OK. The service is very personal, friendly, and efficiently run.

My last visit uncovered something I was totally unaware of that would make flying potentially dangerous. By pure coincidence my wife and I were scheduled to fly on holiday to the far east in less than a week.

It was very disappointing to cancel the holiday but far better than falling ill on the flight or being hospitalised in Vietnam not able to fly back.
Prescan were very helpful in providing documentation to assist with our holiday insurance claim and advising on the process to get into the NHS for treatment. I am currently awaiting an investigation/corrective operation.

Had it not been for Prescan I may now be in a very serious situation, or worse.
