Prestige Windows & Doors Contractors Reviews 

I strongly advise against using this company. I have included extracts from the letters I sent. Neither got a reply! I asked for compensation due to:
• Delay in certification and thus breach of contract;
• Data breach sharing my data without permission and refusal to explain despite being given over 30 days to do so);
• Karl’s use of abusive language and threats to myself;
• A lack of clear and honest communication;
• Causing me undue stress and inconvenience.
If Prestige respond and say I wasn’t a customer or this isn’t true, please phone FENSA and check about their suspension. I chose Prestige as I wanted to support a small business in these very difficult times. I am saddened that I made that choice.

…..there has been a severe delay on your part in fulfilling Item 21 of the contract…you were suspended from FENSA this means you have been unable to request the certificate….I can imagine the embarrassment as a business to be suspended from a professional body, but I am sure you will understand and accept my concerns as a client.
The work was completed on 18th May.I received no communication from you regarding FENSA and I contacted you on 23rd June…..On the 11th July I messaged again. Having heard nothing from you. You didn’t reply so I messaged again on 13th July. You then replied that FENSA ‘is experiencing a massive back log’. This was not true.
I messaged again on the 16th…By 18.00 you had not called. You then mentioned Sarah from admi who was going to update you… at this time you were suspended from FENSA so again this feels to me as an untruth.
I messaged again om the 27th. You said everything had been submitted to FENSA and that the dashboard would be reactivated in the next couple of days…This didn’t happen. I messaged again on Tuesday 4th August and again on Wednesday 5th. You then said all paperwork was submitted on Friday…I don’t think FENSA has a record for that date.
I asked about compensation. You blamed FENSA and then gave an assurance I will be registered by Monday. I do think you should consider compensation as you have not fulfilled the contract in a timely manner… the installers came from a different company. A company that must have been given my number and …. contacted me after installation on 11th June … to sell me new windows. I did not agree for my data to be shared with another company.

On 12/08 when I had still not had notification of the FENSA certificate and had raised the issue of compensation…You informed me it would be another week to which I expressed my surprise and frustration. I posted a review on Trustpilot.
What happened next on your part was highly unprofessional. Quote, ‘ I hope you feel better with review take down the review now otherwise I will not register you the choice is yours’. I noted in response that this is an open threat. I said I would reconsider when I got the certificate and would inform FENSA. You replied, ‘ I will not register. I will not have you damage my reputation the way you going on is as you have a problem with your windows or doors I told you a couple of jobs had gone horribly wrong and I’ve lost a lot of money and we’re doing our best to get it sorted and that’s why I said next week so if you want to keep the review’…..I woke up at 12.30 pm having turned off alerts and had a lie in. At 20:50 you had noted the review was still up and asked if I had decided to keep it. This was followed at 12.15pm by ‘You’ve not bothered to cooperate it’s cool Bruce keep the ******* review’ and ‘I don’t give ****’.
I contacted FENSA and they explained you had no legal right to try to withhold a certificate. I communicated this to you and said I would take down the review as a gesture of goodwill on my part…. On the 14th August you thanked me but made no apology……On the 18th I contacted you again as you were still not on the FENSA web site. You then said it was delayed because a Jack at FENSA had been on holiday….

To end, I finally got my certificate but no compensation and no response to my letters. I am semi retired so £6000 was a serious investment for me. My advice is whilst the windows I got seem ok there must have been some serious issues going on with FENSA. Also never do business with a person who avoids the truth!

Ordering Process: Incredibly smooth and straightforward. The customer service team was knowledgeable and helped guide us to the exact style we needed for our terrace house.

AVOID By all means necessary! They sell cheap products that they claim to manufacture themselves whereby all they do is source them. They claim 10 year warranty that don’t back or I doubt exists.
Very disappointed with this Company Especially the owner Khalid Omar, he’s Money Hungry then hounds you for a 5* review!
Their after sales support is nonexistent. He’s rude and frankly needs to brush up on his customer care skills, he’s arrogant and thinks that he’s doing you a favor.
I had my Windows replaced in March 2026 and reported a broken window right away, we are now in Sept 2026 and still chasing them for a replacement glass, Karl has avoided my calls, and when he did answer he came up with a list of excuses as to why the window hasn’t been replaced yet to now hanging up on me.
I wish I hadn’t given them the business, there are plenty decent genuine companies out there doing and wonderful job and run by professionals, can’t say the same about these clowns.

Prestige windows and doors more like pants windows and doors!

You know who I am and you know I am a customer who has raised concerns and was ignored about your workmanship stop trying to fool people into thinking else. The truth hurts! Pants windows!

I only had a quotation meeting from Mr Khal Omar. He did a quick measure up and rough quote and left pleasent enough.

2 days later (today), when kindly notifying him that we weren't using his services he decides to respond with insults. He may need some anger management because the reponse was completely uncalled for and completely unprofessional. I was going to take the other terrible reviews of this company here with a pinch of salt but it seems they are most likely true.

I would avoid based on this brief experience, no telling what kind of experience I would have had spening £10,000+ with his company.

Ps I have screenshots of our conversation and photos of his business card he left here if he comes along to deny that this interaction ever happened as he seems to do with other reviews on here.

Dodgy company, stay away..and do not give any payment in advance if you don't want to sorry. Check other bad reviews

The salesman is great at his job hence went with them despite having quite a few quotes. Really regret using this company. their workmanship was very poor and product was badly fitted. The workers came into a clean house and left it dirty. Dusty and did not cover our floors or variety’s until we asked. There was sealant all over the place and very shabby finish. Pls pls do not use them at all

Update: The business claims in their response that they do not recognise me as a customer, however has called my phone non-stop. The opportunity was given to correct the work during the job, we have no interest in dealing with your company again. My review is simply to warn others away from receiving a service like we received.

Warning do not use this company!!
They took our order for the windows, wanted payment straight away, then said a surveyor would be visiting to check the measurements and structure.
We were then told we needed outer lintels fitted as per building regs.
Again he wanted more money up front to fit them with the windows.
They fitted the windows and I asked if they had done the lintels also and was told yes.!!
A builder friend of mine visited and informed me that lintels have not been fitted.!!
After many emails he finally told us he would be back to fit them.
After letting us down a couple of times the crew came to fit them.
After fitting 3 they said that’s all they were instructed to fit?? We had paid for all 6 windows to have lintels fitted.!!
After more emails we were asked for more money to fit the other 3, we reported them to Fensa.
Eventually Fensa got him to fit the 3 at no extra charge and finally had no more dealings with him.
From fitting the widows in February to finally getting the lintels fitted in July 5 months later.
Warning if you have used this company and paid for lintels please have them checked to see if they are fitted!!!!!!!!

I am posting this review again as removed as I posted the MD’s name although he’s not bothered about that in good reviews.
I would like to add that after posting this review my wife received some rather aggressive and swearing messages, very unprofessional.

The company implies pyramid scheme as they aim to grow bigger by completing dishonest anti deposit schemes against tenants , They are very money hungry as they charge full price(30 days) on a 2-3 days extended stay in 67 holland road , maidstone . They aim to take the most money out of tenants even exceeding limits . They would follow and stick to a certain part of the contract then break and un considerably break the other part of the contract . The head staff is no helpful so i don’t think anyone should risk working with anything that involves this private business . Stay safe 🙏

Very happy with my new windows and doors. The installation was smooth, and the attention to detail was outstanding.

We had all of the windows and a couple of patio doors, then a remodelling of the Bay window inside and out. Great work.
And the guys were good about coming back for any snags we had.
And also were great to re fit patio doors 50mm higher as we were screening the floor.

RUDE when you dont want there services. I had a call after months saying iam not interested anymore . Give all this 30% discount, having some in my area to to give me a quote, when I said take me out of your system. He hung up the phone with no manners. I was at work and still had manners.Well I WILL NEVER GOING TO USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

The whole process was so easy start to finish. They listened to exactly what I wanted and made the whole process so straightforward. The quality of the windows and doors is excellent. I am very impressed with the overall high standard of finish. I had a whole house refitting. The attention to detail of the fitters was amazing. I would highly recommend to all of my friends and family.

I had worked with Khal to replace 4 windows and 2 doors on my property. His team (Vitor, Marcelo, Elymar, Lucas and Rodney) did a great job, very meticulous and clen, a team with high energy. Thank you again for the quality products and the service you have provided.

The windows and doors look good and the outstanding issues were eventually addressed, although a follow-up FENSA inspection is still pending at the time of writing.

Unfortunately, the project was affected by poor communication, repeated delays, and a lengthy remedial process following the initial FENSA inspection. To their credit, the company did ultimately return and carry out the necessary works.

Overall, a good end result so far, but a much more stressful experience than it needed to be.
