Very efficient responses to my query. Able to sort the issue to my satisfaction. Was helped by Jacque Khan who seem very pleasant and helpfull.

Being new to car charging, there were a few questions I needed to confirm, Jacque Khan was so very patient and understanding throughout, If I could give him more that 10 out of 10 I would.

The call handler Lewis was fantastically patient with my call to connect the EV charger online. The instructions given were clear and understandable. I was led through the process step by step. Even when the phone line disconnected Lewis called me back immediately. Super helpful, thanks.

I was having issues where my vehicle was not charging during the night . Paul took me through step by step process to get the issues I was having corrected.
I was getting stressed out but Paul was very understanding.

Trying to connect the EV charger to the app on your own is a miserable experience so rest your laurels and call them up. It took ages to get through but when I did, I spoke to an excellent rep called Uways who was good as gold and stepped me expertly through the whole thing. Now I am up and running - happy days!

Great service from Lewis Woolett and Uways whohelped solve the problem of why i couldn't get my charger connected after moving house. Their attention to detail spotted one word written in the wrong case - this solved the problem and saved on a potentially expensive home visit, so thanks guys!

Staff were attentive and persistent in trying to help solve previous charger issues. In the end we bought Project EV charger and had this fitted by Chris. New PeV charger working well and grateful for good customer service and Chris, the very helpful engineer.

My Project EV APEX charger stopped connecting properly and I couldn’t charge my vehicle. I was concerned it would take a long time to resolve or require an engineer visit, but Samuel quickly identified the issue, guided me through reconnecting the charger to Wi-Fi, and got everything working again.

I recently had an EV charger installed at my home, and I am extremely pleased with the service provided. The work was carried out professionally, efficiently, and to a very high standard. Everything was explained clearly, the installation was completed neatly, and the area was left clean and tidy afterwards.

I have attempted to integrate my VW ID.3 with EDF’s Smart Charge bolt-on, which works in a similar way to Octopus’ and E.On’s equivalent offerings. Unfortunately, my Project EV Apex charger will enter a “stop” state after 30 minutes when it is being used with my EDF Smart Charge Bolt-On even in “plug and play mode”. This means that my Project EV Apex charger does not work with smart tariffs due to this software design issue.

Project EV communicated to me that they do not recommend that the Apex charger is used with smart tariffs such as Intelligent Octopus Go, E.On Smart Drive or EDF Smart Charge bolt-on. This is despite the car controlling when it should be charging and the Project EV Charger being in “plug and play mode”.

I have used electric vehicle chargers from Pod Point, Ohme and EO Charging and none of these chargers enter a “stop” state after 30 minutes in “plug and play mode”.

I have reached out to Project EV on multiple occasions and I have escalated my issue. There has been no urgency to resolve this issue despite it being reported by multiple people.

Unfortunately given this flawed software design, and the lack of urgency to resolve this issue; I am unable to recommend a Project EV Apex charger.
