I have used this a few times for quick little gifts. It so easy and convenient and I actually love the app and the idea. I even sent a gift to someone’s old number and the customer service team helped me out very quickly.

Faulty links and poor customer service
As with it seems like hundreds of others, they issued me with a faulty link for an M&S voucher with O2 rewards. I contacted them about the faulty link well before the voucher deadline. They responded, late on the day before the deadline, asking me to send a screenshot of the error. They did not mention any timeline to send a screenshot, only said that once I sent the screenshot I would have 48 hours to redeem it. I sent the screenshot a few days later when I knew I would be able to redeem it within 48 hours. I was then told that they expected me to send the screenshot earlier (though they had mentioned nothing about that in their original email) and they would not now issue any voucher. It seems like they are refusing to address their own errors in issuing the faulty link in the first place.

When you initially contacted us regarding the issue with the voucher link, our team responded requesting a screenshot of the link so that we could investigate and assist further. Unfortunately, we did not receive the requested information until several days later, after which the promotional campaign had already ended and all voucher links had expired in line with the campaign terms.
We appreciate your point regarding the 48-hour reference in our earlier communication. This referred to the redemption window once a valid replacement voucher could be issued during the active campaign period. Unfortunately, as the campaign had concluded by the time we received the requested information, we were no longer able to generate or reissue vouchers.
We do understand your frustration and appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. Feedback like this helps us review how we communicate timelines and next steps more clearly in future campaigns.
