I bought a ticket for a house draw at…
I bought a ticket for a house draw at the weekend. That cost Ten pounds with a five pound off of the 1st subscription. Today the 1st of July they've taken £15.00. Had too cancel my bank card. As a block on a bank card only lasts thirteen months. The bank are saying they're scammers. Looking at reviews there's a lot of people saying they hit the card twice in the first week. Ive had too cancel my card as they've not answered my email on sunday. The bank can only block the card for 13 months. Which is so annoying.

Our subscriptions renew on the 1st of every month, in line with our competitions. When you first sign up to our £15 monthly subscription, the first payment is discounted by £10 as a welcome offer. On the subsequent renewal, the subscription is charged at the standard £15 monthly price. This renewal pricing is communicated during the sign-up process.

I had a lovely home once of my own until I got colon cancer from having lynch syndrome and my ex partner left me with a large mortgage I couldn't afford and debts she left me with while I was recovering from colon cancer also bring up my daughter single handed on my own ,I dream every day that my luck will change each week as it comes I would love to get out of this horrible house that im renting and get away from the horrible neighbour I live next too so I'm dreaming and hoping to win big one day so my daughters future will be ok and I can live in peace in my remaining years I try a few competitions every week to win cars ,lottery, postcode lottery and have tried acouple house competitions over the years its costing alot of money which I shouldnt be spending but this is all I have got left to get out of this mess but still with no joy yet I will keep on trying until my final days ,I will never give up on a dream

Raffle House In Dorset, advertised at £2.4 million didn’t sell earlier this year for £1.65 million.
Raffle House Is advertising the Dorset house prize at £2.4 million.
If you search properties for sale in Park Homer Drive, BH21 2SR, you will see that the property was on the market earlier this year and didn’t sell for £1.65 million.
This is a fact. I sent the relevant information to Raffle House Customer service.
Rafflehouse then requested more details, which I had
already sent to Rafflehouse customer service twice, addressed to Derrick.
I received a reply via the Trustpilot link. (See their reply below)
I replied:

So you’re saying that the stamp duty and furnishings are valued in excess of £750 thousand.

For this reason, comparing the advertised prize value with a previous property listing is not a like-for-like comparison, as the previous listing would not include these additional elements.

The competition house does not exist.
Raffle-House and this competition is very deceitful. There is no house to win! No physical house exists, the "Gallery" is just for representation. The photographs you see of a house is not the house you will win. In fact even if you win, you do not win a house because sales rarely reach the purchase price so you will get 70% of ticket sales, which means you will be lucky to get £150,000 nowhere near £2million.
Raffle-House do not explain this, that there is no house, so I am telling you... the house does not exist.
I consider this very deceitful, why would they operate such a deception?
I have made you aware of the facts, whether you play now is up to you but do not expect a £2million house.

UPDATE in response to Raffle House:
While the properties may physically exist on paper there are never enough sales to finalise the contract, this does not change the operational reality for consumers. According to public history, historical ASA rulings, and your own 'Past Draws' page, Raffle House has never successfully met the required ticket threshold to actually hand over a house.
No-one has ever won a house in your competitions.
Framing past outcomes as 'winners took the cash alternative' is misleading; the cash alternative was the only option available because the ticket targets were missed.
Historically, RaffleHouse has faced formal investigations from the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for misleading consumers. In their very first draw, instead of a £650,000 London flat, the winner received just £173,013 in cash.
If I am wrong... name one winner who got a house.
When Raffle House publicly states a winner "took the cash alternative", it creates a false marketing narrative that the winner was presented with two equal options and turned down a luxury home.
Consumers are statistically buying a ticket for a heavily reduced cash pool, not a home.

All of our competitions are conducted legally, transparently, and in accordance with our published terms and conditions. Every draw has a guaranteed winner, and all entrants have access to the competition rules before entering.
Our draws are independently conducted by Civica Election Services, an organisation with over 100 years of experience managing elections, ballots, and prize draws. Their involvement ensures that every winner is selected fairly and independently.
We also respectfully disagree with the suggestion that our competitions are deceptive. Information regarding the prizes and competition mechanics is published within the relevant competition terms and FAQs, which are available for all participants to review.

Raffle House is a wonderful company who I have followed, subscribed to and purchased tickets from for a number of years. Their customer support team is extremely helpful. I received excellent support from Esther today regarding a ticket enquiry which she quickly and kindly resolved. The website is user friendly and very engaging. Raffle House always select beautiful properties for their dream home competitions and support a great selection of charities too. I also appreciate their willingness to offer cash alternatives if the selected dream house winner chooses not to keep the property. Their regular range of smaller prizes are also a great way of spreading joy amongst their players. As a monthly subscriber I will continue to enter their competitions and look forward to winning big one day soon! Wishing this brilliant company continued success!
