Fabulous …

I was originally booked on the 21:00 Economy Class flight, but due to the very close departure time there was a risk of missing my journey. The customer service team acted quickly and professionally, rebooking me on the 21:35 flight to ensure I could travel without stress. Since Economy Class was fully sold out, they generously upgraded me to Business Class at no additional cost as a gesture of goodwill. They also clearly guided me on where to find my updated ticket and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Their efficiency, care, and genuine concern for customers truly stood out and turned a potentially stressful situation into a very positive experience.

I purchased ticket with wrong destination and sent email to exchange my ticket with different departure station . Within few minute si hot replied and re issue ticket and excahnge without any stress

Extremely stressful experience

Extremely stressful experience – high modification fees and difficult dispute process.

I used Rail Monsters while travelling in Japan and unfortunately, had a very negative experience.

When I needed to modify my booking, I was charged a very high modification fee that I did not feel was proportionate. What was most concerning was how the situation was handled — I spent hours going back and forth trying to resolve the issue, which was incredibly stressful while travelling abroad.

The process felt adversarial rather than supportive. Instead of helping to find a reasonable solution, I felt pressured and dismissed.

I would also encourage potential customers to carefully read all review beofre across multiple platforms before booking. In my own research afterwards, I noticed a large volume of very enthusiastic positive reviews appearing in a short time frame, which made me question how representative the overall rating is.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend considering booking directly with official rail providers where possible.

We could not locate any booking, modification request, or dispute under your name, nor any related communication in the period mentioned. In Japan specifically, modification penalties are relatively low and most cases are handled quickly — often within minutes.

Your statement about “hours going back and forth” simply does not match any record in our system.

You also questioned the authenticity of our positive reviews. For clarity: we have 143 total reviews on this platform, accumulated over time. Suggesting manipulation without evidence is a serious claim.

If you are a genuine customer, please provide your booking reference so we can investigate properly. Without verifiable details, this review appears misleading.

Good for getting tickets during high demand periods

I needed to buy train tickets for the upcoming CNY period, but was having immense trouble booking them through the official HSR website as the second any tickets became available they immediately sold out.

I bought the tickets through Rail Monsters instead and received them within a couple days for a very popular departure time, and have since managed to pick them up properly from an HSR station with no problems.

Although Rail Monsters tickets are far more expensive to purchase than through the official HSR ticket site, the extra expense is worth it in order to get the tickets for the time you need during high in-demand times.

Also, immediately after I purchased the tickets through the Rail Monsters website, I began to freak out that the site wasn't reliable and that I didn't immediately receive the tickets after purchase. But the customer service team, specifically Thomas Wood and Joe Davis, were quick to respond to my inquiries over how long the tickets would take to release to me, and were generally very friendly and helpful.

Lors de ma réservation

Lors de ma réservation , j ai fait une erreur d' inattention ,j ai inversé départ et arrivée.
Donc j ai envoyé un mail pour expliquer ma situation.
Réponse aussitôt en expliquant qu'ils allaient faire le nécessaire via la plate-forme et dix minutes après les nouveaux billets modifiés étaient disponible dans ma boîte mail.
Service très compétent, personnes sérieuses et très rapides.

People first before business

My experience with Rail monster care.
I most admit that there email exchange is beyond service providers it is built with empathy for customers first before other things. I fell in love with it, the moment I knew it wasn't a no reply email. I lodged in my complain when they sent an email to remind me of my travel plan in less than 48 hours. I responded by saying I needed a change in date and I want it in 24 hours. They immediately responded by telling me to go change on the app and they guided on how to go about that. After finding out that the HHR App wasn't responding, I quickly send in another email explaining why I needed to be on tomorrow's train and pleading with them to assist with the service because if I am not considered > I might miss my flight too. And boom the response was my train ticket and prayers for journey mercy. Seriously I am thrilled with this top notch service. Allah bless the team.

Rail Monsters saved the day

I had an extremely stressful situation with a Shinkansen ticket booked on the wrong route, just minutes before departure. I honestly thought there was no way it could be fixed.
Joe Davis went above and beyond to help me. Despite the very short notice and strict ticket rules, he immediately escalated my case, contacted the local Japanese agent, and managed to arrange a one-time exception. Thanks to him, my ticket was changed with no extra cost and no penalty, and I made it onto the train just in time.
Joe was professional, kind, reassuring, and incredibly efficient under pressure. His help genuinely saved my trip, and I am so grateful for his dedication and effort.
Huge thank you to Joe Davis, this level of customer service is rare and unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend Rail Monsters more because of him.
