Upon arrival, my guests (Mansur Ali Shah +2) were only provided breakfast (Sahoor).
The hotel had no record of the Half Board meal plan, despite it being booked and paid for through Ratehawk.
Ratehawk failed to update the hotel about the correct meal plan.
Ratehawk’s Response:
My guests had to pay 629 SAR out of pocket for dinner.
Ratehawk promised a refund but 9 days later, it’s still not processed, despite multiple follow-ups.

What Went Wrong?
Upon arrival, my guests (Mansur Ali Shah +2) were only provided breakfast (Sahoor).
The hotel had no record of the Half Board meal plan, even though it was booked and paid for through Ratehawk.
Despite my confirmed booking and payment proof, Ratehawk failed to update the hotel properly.
How Ratehawk Handled It
Ratehawk advised my guests to pay for dinner out of pocket (629 SAR) and promised a refund.
9 days later, despite multiple follow-ups, no refund has been processed.
Why This is a Serious Issue
False advertising: Ratehawk sells meal plans that hotels do not recognize.
Poor customer service: They fail to take responsibility and resolve issues promptly.
Broken refund promises: Even with proof, the refund remains delayed and uncertain.
Final Thoughts
Avoid Ratehawk if you want a smooth booking experience. They don’t stand by their commitments, and you may end up paying extra for services that should be included. Very disappointing!

I would like to bring to attention a significant issue I encountered with Ratehawk regarding my recent booking at Al Aqeeq Al Rawda Hotel by Sedra. I made a reservation for a Standard Triple Room with a Half Board meal plan, which included breakfast and either dinner or lunch, for the period of March 8, 2025, to March 11, 2025. The total amount paid for this reservation was £490 for a three-night stay.
Upon my guests' arrival, they were informed that they would only be provided with breakfast (Sahoor), and the hotel had no record of the Half Board meal plan that had been booked and for which I had already paid. Despite having received a booking confirmation and proof of payment from Ratehawk, the company did not ensure that the hotel honored the agreed-upon meal plan.
When my guests reported this discrepancy, Ratehawk instructed them to cover the cost of dinner independently, with the assurance of reimbursement. Regrettably, it has now been nine days since this incident, and despite multiple follow-ups, the promised refund has yet to be processed.
This experience has highlighted significant flaws in Ratehawk's advertising practices and customer service mechanisms. The company promotes meal plans that are not fulfilled and fails to adhere to commitments regarding refunds. I possess all pertinent documentation, including payment receipts and hotel vouchers; however, the refund remains outstanding.
I advise prospective customers to exercise caution when booking through Ratehawk, as there is a risk of incurring additional expenses for services that were initially included in the reservation. This has been an extremely disappointing experience.

If I could give negative stars I would.
Their support and communication is horrendous. I lost a key hotel booking because they failed to clearly communicate.
I had booked 5 rooms through RateHawk for a group trips I’d organized to Japan. The due date for the invoice stated Mar 3. There was no time indicated on the form by when the payment had to be made on Mar 3.
I’d had several questions about the booking that I’d submitted via the portal and were still unanswered. I didn’t want to pay until they were answered.
At 9:37am on Mar 3 my reservation was cancelled. They’re explanation “we sent you a reminder 3 days ago” but they could never explain why they canceled something in the due date rather than giving me the whole day to pay.
This is only the most recently example of confusing and poor customer service. If you value your time never use RateHawk.

Platform is very sketchy. Unable to search for multi-rooms of different room types, they all have to be identical which limits group bookings. Raised with RateHawk in November and there is no ETA for it to be fixed. Also this platform has a high number of rate increases or unavailability after trying to purchase with card details. Can be very embarrassing explaining to the customer.

They are not fit for B2B Business, and No Adjustments with the Travel Agents and relying with Expedia. and you don't get you commissions, whenever you are looking for commission they will say no. and you cannot withdraw your commissions then why are we doing business. and transfers expensive in Europe.

Extremely disappointing customer service. Despite making the payment, they were unable to honor the booking. The account manager, Ruth Media, has been particularly unresponsive—I’ve called her over 50 times without a single callback and emailed more than 10 times, only to receive one irrelevant reply with no solution.

Unzuverlässig, trotz Buchung und Zahlung war es dem Gast nicht möglich im Hotel einzuchecken. Ratehawk support war nicht möglich das Problem zu lösen und verweigert die Erstattung der Reservierung. Support nur in englisch. Ich kann keine Empfehlung zu diesem Anbieter abgeben.

Si quieres quedar mal con tus clientes reserva Ratehawk. Trabajan menos que los Reyes Magos. Mucho marketing y te atienden latinos que ni idea tienen de nada y los clientes durmiendo en la calle. Tuvimos que reservarles otro alojamiento asumiendolo nosotros. Jamás lo recupere el dinero.

The customer service has been TERRIBLE. I never write reviews but this is necessary. I have been a customer of Ratehawk for at least three years now. When I joined, I had an amazing account manager - Ben Durbhan. Within the last year, my account manager changed - until this day, I am not sure who it is because I have never been able to speak to them. Every time I call the number on my account, I am never able to get through or when I do get through I am transferred to a receiver in Czech Republic who rudely asks me why I have called them and then proceeds to tell me that they cannot help.
I have been trying to sort my account out for the last four months and kept on getting bounced around from one person to another. It is now 13/12/2024 and still no solution - rather in a worse off place than when I started.
My account would not allow me to search for anything and kept on bringing back an error message. As a result, I was advised to make another account as my current account was apparently inactive for too long - this meant that my points were lost too. I made another account and yet experienced the same thing. I had to wait a while for this to be resolved so I lost out on business. It was me constantly probing and enquiring and to be honest would not have ever gotten a reply if I did not do so.
I had then requested to add on an affiliate account when I tried to sign up with Zenhotels I was directed to Ratehawk. I also wanted my old email back because I wanted all business related emails to go there instead of my personal. I was advised that all my accounts would need to be closed and then restarted which I agreed.
I was initially dealing with Megan who passed me on to Linda who passed me on to Tony who then passed me on to Joshua Bull. Waited about a month and contacted JOSH BULL to which he turned around and said they cannot offer me an account. What type of people are you hiring to operate in your company Ratehawk? No care for your clients. I am absolutely disgusted with this service.
