On January. I picked real genius for my refinance house. Brain Gillespie takes care my Application. I want to tell Brain is a very very patience knowledge kindly gentleman. He guided me step-by-step (prefer collecting more information together at a time). I have a estimate until finished and offered all my information through months. And rate all the way up. Honestly, I don't understand why it took so long to get a survey sent out. We closed back in June of 2021. Have closed on another loan since then. It's been so long since we worked with Consumer Direct, I can't recall the details. I do remember working with Kevin Marsh and he was super. We first met Kevin when we purchased our home and it was only natural to return to him for the refi. No major complaint that I can recall.

Our loan officer was precise in this description of the loan deal and process and everything that he described was true and accurate. There were a few minor hiccups in closing but the overall process was great. We are very happy with the refinance.

I financed my new home through Consumer Direct and since then have refinanced it three times to take advantage of lower interest rates and shorten my term. I would rate each of the four experiences 5 stars. The staff are prompt and friendly and the process much easier than what I have experienced in the past. The deals I received on closing costs, etc. by being an executive Costco member were great and on our first loan, the rate was 1/4% lower than I found anywhere else. I would not hesitate to use them in the future, and have recommended several friends who told me they were very satisfied.

Hard to contact anyone, my insurance was changed without consent. My taxes are always paid late and get fees. I send in the notice but noone to talk to.

This was the first time using online financing for my mortgage. The process was very easy and I would use consumer direct mortgage again. The communication was not very good. Particularly from the loan processor but somewhat the mortgage broker as well. I say this hesitantly because it was at a time when everybody was refinancing At the same time. I would think in normal market times the communication would be better

Process was long and kind of painful. Computer use to submit documents was extensive. Okay for computer literate, not so good for non computer users.
Several people were involved in the underwriting process. Somewhat confusing for the borrower.

Got me the advertised rate. Was clear about the paperwork I needed and the transaction went through. Nothing bad to say.
