I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer. She was amazing to work with. Very fast and prompt with every question that I had. She seemed like she was very knowledgeable at what she does. I couldn't have asked for anybody better to work with. I'm definitely recommending more of my friends and family to work with her.

Cheyenne did a great job working with the less than perfect measurements i provided. She understood that this was an initial pass for me as i gather information and come to understand and price IKEA cabinets, and how they may suit my renovation. She was flexible with this, and played along with me. It's in that openness, I found freedom to go beyond just replacing cabinet for cabinet. She also took the opportunity to let me know of the programs IKEA offers (measuring appointments, installation crew, as well as counter options) I look forward to fine-tuning my plans and putting together an official order in the very near future.

Responses were prompt at first, then went 2 weeks without any answers to my emails. I was required to use their appraisal company, but then they said they couldn't do it, so I had to find one myself which cost a lot more. Plus, I ended up having to pay to extend the lock because of the delays. Then they wanted to add points because the appraisal came in just 3% shy of my initial estimate, so I ended up reducing the loan amount a bit. Not a pleasant experience.

2 weeks! From the time that I clicked enter on my computer to submit the online application until I signed the closing papers in my kitchen sitting at my own table took only 2 weeks! The entire process could not have been any more simple and smooth. They would send me an email every time that a document was requested and I would have it uploaded with a confirmation of receipt in less than 24 hours. The phone communication and the level of professionalism was very comforting.
This was the quickest, easiest and most worry free closing that I have ever been involved in! The closing attorney took their time explaining every paper that I was signing and was happy to answer any questions that had. I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again when needed!

I’ve used your company multiple times and it has been great. That said, your company name is terrible. It sounds way too scammy, which is a shame because your service and rates have been great. You want your name to be something that inspires confidence and a sense of expertise, not something that sounds like an ad at the bottom of an article.

I recently completed a refinance with Charles Petruzzi and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From our initial contact, he was straightforward with every aspect of our loan. Charles explained the process clearly up front and stayed in the loop with me through every step. I knew that if the loan ever fell off track, he would be there to set things right.

The team of professionals I worked with at Real Genius, Justin and Jenny, were also exceptional. When information was requested, it was promptly reviewed, and I never had to send the same thing twice. We not only closed on time, but we closed early! The loan process was first rate from start to finish.

There are three things that, in my mind, set Charles apart and have earned our repeat business in the future: 1. Two decades of mortgage and banking experience, 2. Flawless communication and responsiveness and 3. Promises kept. I give Charles and Real Genius my highest recommendation!

I had a great experience with Real Genius in the beginning. Very competitive rates and responsive to emails. Unfortunately we missed our closing date because Real Genius was not informed that we wouldn't have sod for a new build that was finishing in February. This was never asked beforehand and only came into question at the final appraisal which was one day before closing.

Then when we were told we could close the following day by paying for the sod upfront into an escrow account, it got caught up in underwriting most of the day and cleared to close in late afternoon. Then after having wired the money and we signed all our papers at Title Company, the lender continued holding funds and not releasing... It was nearly 5pm and the entire closing almost fell through AGAIN, until the lenders sent over two final papers to sign. We closed at 4:57pm officially.

It does not help that the lender was in a different time zone and when funding was being withheld, we couldn't get anybody on the phone.

Overall we secured a great rate and missed closing by one day. It was almost missed by 2 days except the funding department released the wire transfer at the last minute. Extremely nerve-wracking for what should have been a straightforward close.

Every thing went great with the refinance and loan closed faster than I expected. Communicated with Dionna, who is the Loan Processor assigned to me, on a regular basis. Had a pleasant experience working with her. She was very responsive and would quickly get back to me with documents requested by the underwriting team, etc. My Loan Officer was Ryan Miles and it was nice working with him. Was able to lock in a great rate. The interest rates went up by almost 75 bps from the time rate was locked to the time of closing. However, no issues to have the loan closed much before rate lock expiration. The Team at CDMTG is top notch. Highly recommended!

It is pretty clear for the applicant how the application is processed and its current state. Easy to upload documents.

This was by far the easiest mortgage process I’ve been through. I was kept informed every step in the process. The charges other providers wanted were ridiculous. But not with Real Genius. I highly recommended to my friends and family!

If I could give a zero I would. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. Spoke to mike about refinancing but told him details about our situation that would prevent us from getting approved through Freddie Mac. Due to lack of education, we couldn’t get approved and now had to run through Fannie Mae. In the mean time, the rate expired and they wanted us to pay the 1000$ rate lock. I had to argue which they finally agreed. They run us through again, and call me to tell me we’re approved sign by midnight tonight, no details. I login in there’s unexplained charges in the loan plus they wanted us to bring money to closing which we had discussed we weren’t going to do that. They worst company I ever worked with.
