Rowlinson Garden Products Reviews

Minor issue stops this being 5 stars.
Despite SPECIFICALLY giving FULL delivery instructions, advice and requests - the Delivery Driver still goes by the SatNav and NOT by the actual address which is very annoying when it is just myself and my sister - at 63 years old (twins) - and we're (wo)man-handling heavy garden planters to the correct address!!

Having done a little research into similar products, quality, price point etc, opted for 1.2m heavy duty bench.
It was delivered by a courier in good time, however the courier had not looked after the delivery, as when we went to assemble, found the fixings were not in the bag.
Contacted Rowlinson by email to advise, and was resolved in a couple of days, no questions asked.
Assembled the Picnic Bench, items that suggested needed pre drilling, were in fact drilled making it a spanners and screwdriver assembly, very easy.
Sits on the Patio, and with current weather, used most days.

Very prompt dispatch of garden furniture set unfortunately the delivery company APC made a terrible mess of delivering it to my address. First cancelling original date and the after rescheduling delivering it to the wrong address the local hospital !
But very happy with the product when it eventually arrived.

Recently purchased a garden dining table and chairs. The delivery was prompt, and the product was well packaged. The quality is exceptional, table is absolutely solid and looks even better than it did on the website. Really stylish comfortable chairs, the contract between the Black metal legs and the wood with woven chairs really makes a statement. So far am really pleased, only gripe is that I saw the same product on a competitors website £100 cheaper. But due to the positive experience I have had with the company that's a small price to pay. Time will tell in regards to durability, its a shame the company don't offer a furniture cover. I would recommend rowlinson, products appear to be well made. Great service

Superb quality archway... Very sturdy .
Delivery was quick .

I purchased a garden half parasol and a rustic arch as first purchase. The same parasol was then reduced in price after I installed it and because it was nice, I decided to order a second one at the reduced price. However when assembled it looked terrible as the side material sagged,
so much under the maximum hight(3rd hole) to the point I couldn't leave up next to the first one purchased. Probably reduced meant seconds quality? Removed and stored for spare parts!!!

Slick order and delivery process and good quality product

Avoid at all costs!

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I purchased a shed in November 2025 and have experienced multiple quality issues within the first 6 months of ownership.

During the winter months, the shed suffered from significant dampness and mould growth resulting in us having to discard its contents. When I raised concerns, I was advised to reduce rain splashback from the ground.

More recently in the warm weather, the cladding boards have separated, leaving visible gaps between the panels and raising concerns about the shed’s ability to keep out the weather. In response, I was advised to reduce direct sunlight exposure and spray the shed with water during hot weather.

What has been most disappointing is the company’s response to these issues. They have repeatedly attributed them to normal environmental conditions and suggested measures that I do not believe are reasonable for the average customer.

This is a garden shed designed for outdoor use in the UK. Rain, sunshine, changing temperatures, damp conditions and seasonal weather variations are entirely normal and foreseeable. I do not believe it is reasonable to expect customers to actively manage these conditions in order for a shed to function properly.

When I raised concerns about the gaps appearing between the boards, the company dismissed the issue as natural timber movement and stated that no resolution was required. They also suggested that if I disagreed with the information contained in the assembly instructions, I should have returned the product before building it. This ignores the fact that it is impossible to assess how a shed will perform in real-world conditions without first assembling and using it.

For a product at this price point, I expected a shed that could withstand normal British weather conditions. Instead, I have experienced damp, mould, gaps forming in the cladding within months of purchase.

Very disappointing. Poor quality. Save your money.

We are very pleased with our garden table and chairs. They arrived within a few days. Well packaged and easy to assemble. A good quality product. We would definitely buy again from Rowlinson.

Fabulous umbrella, great quality, strong and lovely linen coloured fabric

Great product & reasonably priced

This product is of exceptional quality and offers remarkable value, exceeding expectations for its price point. The delivery process was highly efficient. I confidently endorse this item to individuals seeking premium garden furnishings.

Very fast delivery, hassle free
And the product was amazing best price also

As a landscaper I've purchased quite a few rowlinson products over the past couple of years. Mainly bin stores for customers and now I've just bought myself the victoria arbour.
Really good quality products, decent timber and fast delivery. Overall a very good company to deal with.

Easy to order and arranging delivery was straightforward. Product is solid and once put together I painted it and it looks great.

Great service, quick delivery and the product quality is excellent. We are really pleased.

Very useful product for the plants. Looks nice and augments the garden; high quality item ofr a good price and delivered on time. One point; would have been good to have been sold with a liner!

Fantastic product, brilliant service, communication and delivery.

Nice bench , reasonable price, took 3 hours to put together, but I am well into my 80s.

The product is fine and pretty good value.
My only issue was that it was shown as ex stock and usually despatched within 24 hours on the site.
I ordered April 7th the item arrived in April 6th.
No problem with that either except that the only communication was the order acknowledgement and the despatch process... no indication that it wouldn't be shipped in 24 hours.
Communication was poor in this regard. Otherwise faultless..
