Apparently I had entered the wrong delivery date, when I chased it. I was then emailed saying the could delivered on a Thursday, so waited in all day after they confirmed it would be delivered. Nothing, despite several emails, noone answers the phone. They then said it wasn't coming as had been damaged in transit, convienant! Then they couldn't now deliver until next Wednesday, the day that I had originally apparently requested. What a waste of my time, I dont like being lied to either. However once arrived it was fine. Do not like the lack of transparency, wont be recommending

Ordered our porcelain tiles from royal stones, have received very fast and helpful service from Manish a member of the team. Will definitely recommend.

I spent over £1,000 on outdoor tiles, which turned up on pallets about two weeks before my tiler started. When the tiler opened the packs, 10 tiles were completely shattered from delivery. Looking on their website I could see that they have a 3-day notification window, I just accepted this and moved on.

The real nightmare started when my tiler tried cutting them. He was using a wet table saw with a diamond blade, but 8 out of his first 12 cuts shattered the tile. I called up after-sales to explain and asked if I could return or swap the unused tiles and pallet (offering to pay for what we'd already used), but they said 'No'. Instead, they blamed my tiler and said it was the tilers lack of skill.

After going back and forth, they pointed us toward a specialist. The tiler followed every single recommended tool and technique they gave him, and the tiles still kept shattering.

To prove it wasn't my tiler, we agreed for me to drive 5 hours each way to their site in Lincoln for them to cut the tiles themselves, and prove to me, there was nothing wrong with the tiles. The result: 3 out of the 7 tiles I brought shattered, and the rest were heavily chipped along the front face where they had made the cuts. For me, this proved 100% that my tiler wasn't the problem, but it was the tiles we had received - For them, they were still adamant the tiles were good quality.

As I bought the last two pallets of the batch, the replacement tiles they offered were from a different batch and therefore didn't exactly match. I took some home encase they were 'close enough' but they stood out like a sore thumb, so I couldn't use them.

In the end, my tile operator managed to salvage the job using the offcuts from home. After spending over a grand and following every bit of advice from their specialist, I was left with 10 square meters of shattered tiles and an after-sales team that wouldn't admit they gave us dodgy tiles.

Please note I have been offered £80 on four separate occasions by Royale Stones to remove this factual account of my experience. Fortunately (and rather stupidly on their part) this is all clearly in writing in email correspondence. Trustpilot have received and verified this correspondence and issued a formal warning to the company. Be aware that the Trustpilot score for this company is misleading as it excludes any other negative reviews they have paid to have removed.

Here’s the full account of the facts of my experience with Royale Stones:

Ordered porcelain paving on 19 July 2026 and paid in full that day.

On 24 August (five weeks later) I was told the item was out of stock, the last pack having been damaged in their own warehouse.

I agreed a substitute on 27 August, having first confirmed in writing that I needed delivery by 1–2 September for work booked months earlier. The events that followed (all documented by email):
- 28 August: the courier couldn't unload two of three pallets.
- 29 August: second failed attempt. I took the day off and waited in but delivery never arrived
- 31 August: told their delivery partner would contact me the next day. Nobody did.
- 5 September: confirmed in writing delivery would take place. No delivery, no notification. Another day waited in.
7 September: the load (1 tonne of porcelain) arrived leaning at an angle on a single ratchet strap. I was advised by email to release it myself. I declined; their own team later attended and refused to unload it on safety grounds.

They then refused to send a replacement unless I first confirmed in writing that no further claim would be made. Their unsafe pallet sat on my family driveway for over two weeks, blocking a parking space, through two failed collections, before it was finally removed.

What I'd most want other customers to know is what happened after I posted this review.

Royale Stones have four times, in writing, offered me £80 on condition that I remove the review. Once after withdrawing the same offer because I'd said I would assert my statutory rights. Once alongside a written statement that if the review stayed up there would be no compensation "not now and nor after delivery". And once more after everything was resolved and there was nothing left in dispute — a straightforward offer of money to delete a review.

I've declined each time, and I've reported it to the CMA and Trading Standards as well as to Trustpilot themselves. All the written correspondence has been shared with these parties.

- Royale Stones comments are a misrepresentation of the facts that occurred, and in some cases are simply false
- Fortunately the factual account in the email trail and clear photographic and video evidence exist and have been shared with the relevant bodies, including Trustpilot who have issued a formal warning to the company
- I reiterate that Royale Stones own delivery team refused to unload the pallet on safety grounds. They dispatched this team to collect the tilting pallet after their contacted courier failed to do so and the 2 individuals declared it unsafe to do so
- The ‘partial refund’ offered was on the explicit condition of deleting this review, hence why an ‘agreement’ could not be reached. No further offer of any compensation for this horrendous customer experience was ever made.

Delivery was on time price unbeatable looks so good definitely recommend them

We made a purchase of 900mm x 600mm tiles from Rotal Stones. They came very quickly and when fitted were exactly how they were described. We are very happy with the product and the company and would 100% use them in the future.

Excellent product & did exactly what I expected

Really poor customer service. I wanted to return my vanity unit for the same one only a smaller size and they wanted £98 to return it for a swap. Absolutely ridiculous price to return something especially when I was only wanting an exchange. Will never purchase from them again and also told a family member to look elsewhere as they were almost going to purchase from them aswell

Ordered 25 square meters of the Roca beige paving slabs on the 28th June they arrived by the 2nd July in great condition I installed them the following weekend and the tiles were great to work with and nice to cut with a decent diamond blade once I’d installed I visited my local Royale Stones store to choose the best grout colour for the job where the staff were very helpful and gave great advice and since cleaning it all off with the hose the none slip surface is also decent all in all a 10/10 experience and would 100% buy from Royale Stones again if I had another outdoor project

I ordered tiles from royal stones and they were delivered on time, unfortunately a few packs of tiles did break in transit..After contacting royale stones they agreed to send out more tiles to replace the broken ones and they were delivered in few days too..Aman from royale stones was professional and efficient in sorting the replacement tiles..The tiles are being put down by our builder and are of great quality so overall would definitely recommend this company..

Excellent tiles! First time I have laid 20mm porcelein. Heard they were difficult but these ones from Royale Stones were amazing. Great quality, load of positive comments on the colour! Also didnt have a single break when cutting or laying almost 30m2, so clearly tough tiles.

Really happy with how this was handled. A few tiles arrived damaged, but Aman was quick to respond and arranged replacements straight away with no hassle. Great customer service and communication throughout. Would definitely use Royale Stones again.
