If I could put a big fat 0 star I would. Do not let a guy name NATE PATTERSON take care of your claim, he is never at work, it took three weeks to finally get something done and by then there was no money left. I payed three weeks out of pocket for a rental and was never reimbursed, this man kept saying whenever I did get a hold of him he was gonna take care of it. (You Suck) This is one of the worst insurance companies I’ve ever encountered. They accept liability but don’t pay out claiming they’re responsible client only had 5000 liability and that the funds were exhausted due to storage and tow fees which means I got nothing and they have my car and I’m sure their going to sell it.
I had a wreck in October
I had a wreck in October. 2022 it’s now February had to wait about getting my car fixed. But over all safe auto did good on there end so I can have my car fixed and back on the road. Thanx again safe auto
Fast friendly accurate affordable insurance
The representative took the time to read everything to me in my policy to make sure that I understood everything and they gave me the best deal I've ever had I appreciate their kindness and to speed of my application as well as the way they handled things.
Lack of communication
I was in an accident on 12/21/2023. My car was totaled, and I did not receive my check until 2/2/2023. During this process, I had to reach out to the other driver's insurance multiple times myself, and almost had my license suspended as SafeAuto did not file the necessary forms for my state that I reminded them of multiple times. They would also not update me on the process, despite multiple calls and emails. It feels like they ignore you. I have used SafeAuto since 2009, and I cancelled my policy due to how terrible this experience was.
I can’t log in to my account
I can’t log in to my account. I don’t created a new email & everything still can’t access my account. I wanna be to visually look at my account. & can’t do that. I called for the first 4 days & none of your workers was able to help me & I’m tired of hearing y’all was having difficulty with the online accounts that’s bs.
Be picky about what representative you speak with
Some of your representatives need to have some more training regarding your policies, and how to determine what to charge, and when the customer asked for a supervisor, let them speak to one instead of putting them on hold and never answering the phone again.

This crappy company will not allow me to pay my bill until after it cancels. Then I’m hit with a reinstatement fee EVERY MONTH. Do not buy their worthless insurance!!!
I don't like how I make a down payment…
I don't like how I make a down payment to start my policy and then my bill is due two weeks later. That's not a full month.
Payments due early instead of every 30 days
Paid to start the policy and got another bill 12 days later. Instead of the policy renewing on the same day I started it every month it now looks like I’m paying it late. Silliest thing I’ve ever seen. I have exactly 30 days to pay it but after the 12th day it’s late and if it’s not paid by the date it should actually finally be due, it’s cancelled.
