Customer service was great! I had an issue with my knives and they were prompt to respond and resolve. Great knifes too!

I am not sure if they are a victim of spoofing or if they are part of some elaborate scam operation. Their customer support seems to be legit but the whole thing is just shady.

They have a uk site that mimics a legitimate Japanese knife industry but it’s all false and instead functions as a drop shipping site connected to some manufacturer in china.

Do not trust these people as I clicked on one of their tracking links which in turn prompted me to use an Apple Pay free payment to confirm details which then triggers a monthly reoccurring payment to some company called Fitness1st Co. I had to engage with my bank to stop this as you can’t do it on the site because of the phishing risks involved.

Not to mention they heavily overcharge for their products.

I had a fantastic experience, this is the second time I’ve purchased stunning Japanese damascus knives from this company. The quality is tops, the service excellent and the knives are beautiful too.

Easy ordering, fast shipment and well packed. In the package the last ordered knife of the series. Very happy with it. Sharp, good handling and good looks.

No delivery, fobbed off with 'my address is too remote'! The original tracking number didn't work, then no tracking number supplied for a 're-delivery' and no knives received. Upon checking Companies House, this company is actually Bac2Bac Ltd trading as Santokuknives.co.uk, Registered number: 11425420 with net liabilities of over £18,000, 4 employees and registered office at The Old Coach House, 2a Main Street Countesthorpe Leicester. Presumably any delivered items are shipped from China. D H Backus - Director - you should be asahamed of yourself. Avoid!

I had a knife that broke which was due to my wrong using, but customer service was kind enough to send me a new one to replace it as a sign if good-will.

I couldn’t praise Santoku highly enough. Bought a set of Damascus knives a good few years ago and absolutely love them. This week I broke my cleaver using it to cut something it’s not meant for. Despite the damage falling outside of their warranty promise (my fault), they still offered to send out a replacement cleaver free of charge. In today’s world customer service like this is very rare and I must say I’m very impressed and even more grateful.

Be aware .co.uk web address but not in the UK and will take 2 weeks to arrive but they miss lead you into thinking it's 48 hours, bought 2 knives as a present for my son which I must say are stunning, but there blunt and definitely not razor sharp as stated, would not use this company again

Compré un cuchillo para regalar a mi pareja y fue un acierto. Primero la calidad, el buen acabado y lo bonito que es. Seguramente seguiremos comprando los cuchillos! ( ya estoy esperando las piedras para afilarlos) El envío tarda un poquito pero en cuanto escribes a su soporte te contestan inmediatamente y te informan. En cuanto al uso, en nuestro caso no somos profesionales pero si amantes de la cocina y se nota mucho el cambio de un cuchillo corriente al que compramos de Santoku. Gracias!

These knives are fantastic.
We bought these on recommendation and are over the moon that we did.
We now have 5 knives, all bought individually. Postage was quick.
One knife took a little longer, once contacting the company they advised the knife was at customs and this happens on occasion due to the nature of the package.
This is also a lovely gift, comes in a lovely box.
PLEASE BE AWARE-these knives are extremely sharp and remain so. Use with caution when removing from package.

Customer service was amazing. Very quick responses. Helped me with a replacement knife which was a settlement gift of my husbands after his father passed. I believe they went beyond their usual policy to help on this occasion and can't recommend their knifes enough!

Fantastic quality knives! I have had a few for ourselves and presents and always greatly received.

Very satisfied with the customer service of Santoku knives. They replied right away after sending an email regarding an issue with my knife, and they asked for the evidence, and I told them what happened. I thought they would never grant the warranty, but the customer service went the extra mile just to make their customer happy. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends who are looking for quality knives.

Absolutely delighted with the customer service received from Santoku knives. There were no qualms or questions asked once I provided some evidence, to replace a knife that I’ve had some time but had an issue with. They were absolutely top-notch in terms of offering a replacement and I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to other people who are looking for quality knives.

No information on shipping only then to be told it will be another 15 days when tracking data says 48hrs. Costumer service is less than helpful. seems to be the method of business employed by Santoku Knives...
TL:DR Dont bother ordering - go elsewhere

Good communication. Magnetic knife was sent as soon as it was ordered with follow up emails from Santokuknives.
The knife board was beautifully package and arrived in perfect condition.
The board looks beautiful in the kitchen and is fun to use.
The magnets are the correct ones for the unit and grab them as you slide the knife on. Its the unexpected " catching " by the magnets which makes it fun for me

Shocking. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious and the quality of pan I ordered terrible.

Very good knifes and good weight in your hand. The albalor handles look amazing and a very good professional knife. Quite a long delivery time as come from china but well worth the wait.
