It is hoped that Judy will take appropriate action on this matter.

The validation process with this vendor is extremely frustrating. They are horrible about calling back when they say they are going to call back. They purposely close the chat as soon as they can, so they can avoid assisting the customer. They made this process 1000 times more difficult than the usual vendor we go with, which is Digicert. The 3rd party vendor purchased a cert here by accident. So, we had no other choice than to use Sectigo. We may just cancel our purchase completely, because they are horrible to work with.

Would not accept ASIC documents as proof, wanted to investigate my accountant after he gave them a document reiterating the fact that we are who we say we are and are at the address we say we are! So far one whole week, and this was a simple renewal!!!

Terrible support and sales.

We extended our SSL certificate and I asked three times of everything would remain the same and we wouldnt have to do anything. Three times Maxime told me that everything would be fine and I just had to pay. So I did but then the date came on which the extension should have gone into effect. And all our European websites went down. Started a high priority support ticket with Maxime and after two or three calls/mails they just decided to ignore us. Now 4 days later, still no reply and the chat on the website is also terrible. What a shitty company.

Ich hatte kurz überlegt, ein S/MIME-Zertifikat hier zu kaufen und dabei leider meine Mail-Adresse angegeben. Seit dem kommen täglich Mails, dass ich doch endlich das Zertifikat kaufen soll. Diese Nachrichten enthalten keinen Abmeldelink.

Totally useless and inflexible system. Impossible to navigate. Won't allow uploads even though it claims to offer that functionality. Often says 'sorry there is a problem'. Hopeless support call centre based in India (I have nothing wrong with basing the call centre there but surely the responders need to be able to speak clearly in English as it is embarrassing have to ask for clarity on every sentence). If i could use any other company for this service i would switch in a heart beat.

0 support... several FAKE sites on the internet and unreachable hotline numbers... 3 days wait until the final certification... The VERY VERY LAST CLUB... That almost borders on fraud!!! Better stay away!!! Attention STRATO offers SECTIGO SSL... It's better not to take it because the verification is a complete disaster... NEVER EVER SECTIGO!!!! And STRATO isn't much better... INCEPTIENCE KNOWS A NAME!! STRATO&SECTIGO!!!!

Sectigo has terrible support and as a result we cannot code sign our software - IT IS A DISASTER! We ordered an EV Token for signing our software. It arrived late but what is even worse is that NO email with the passcode has been sent. We have lodged tickets, sent emails and their chat just sends a message. All have gone unanswered for days now. These people have placed us in a terrible position because we cannot provide critical updates to our software.

We renewed our code signing certificate with Sectigo (for the second or third time in a row). Aside from the convoluted and time-consuming process they insist on every single time to validate identity—such as verifying a phone number they found on some site called "Kompass.com" (who are they?)—they ended up sending me a completely different type of certificate.
This new certificate doesn’t work like the ones I’ve been ordering previously.
When I reached out to their tech support for guidance on using it in my environment, their response was, quite literally, "you can still search online for any script...etc."

Ich habe s/mime Zertifikat gekauft.
Zum Glück hatte ich Erfahrung mit Zertifikaten.
Trotzdem hatte ich 10 Stunden gebraucht um alles hin zu bekommen. Die Anleitungen sind komplett sinnfrei.
Videos komplett unbrauchbar. Knowlegde Base, da braucht man Doktor Titel und Seite lässt sich nicht übersetzen. Telefonische Hilfe, wenn man schlecht Englisch kann, keine Chance. Email, keine Antwort erhalten. Ich habe es hinbekommen, aber alles über Google ohne Sectigo Hilfe. Also wie das jemand ohne kleines Hintergrund wissen hinbekommt ??? Und bei Sectigo keine Menüführung.
Zwei Beispiele: Ein CSR Key muss man selbst erstellen und eine "pem"Datei muss konvertiert werden.Nur muss man erstmal heraus finden was das überhaupt ist. Nie wieder.

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my recent ticket. Despite submitting the requested documents to update my organization's name, the certificate issued still contained the old name, rendering it unusable. This issue remains unresolved, and despite assurances from support that a refund is possible, there has been no progress. This has caused significant delays to my project. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company, as their processes are unreliable and unresponsive.

STAY AWAY from this company.

They do not care about made contracts. They stop serving you and ask for more MONEY.

Unfortunately, the same experience as the other 1-star reviews. There are no instructions on how the process for an S/MIME certificate works. The "experts" in the chat can't help you and do not take you serious.

The process for getting a document signing certificate was very inconvenient. You will have to validate your identity and company by ways of sending a picture of your ID, and they will call your company's phonenumber to verify that it is real. But none of these steps were initiated from their side, although they say so in the initial mail I received. I had to contact support up until four times to get the process progressing to the next step. In the meantime the status dashboard they have tell you nothing about what's going on. Won't recommend...

They auto charge for an incorrect certificate. Their billing depart only handles online tickets but they never reply to requests for update status. Calls to Tech Support indicate they raise the status of the ticket but no return. Customer Satisfaction apparently is not a priority. No solution but to buy more certificates and let the incorrect certificate expire.

Very good follow up and guidance from Ajay at technical support, we were in a hurry to complete the process of getting av Code signing certificate.

Unfortunately no appropriate option for hearing or speech impaired ppl to verify SSL-certificates. Only offered options involve extra costs.

Ich habe vor einem Monat mein EV Zertifikat erneuert repsektive zur Erneuerung in Auftrag geben. Sectigo hat es tatsächlich zum wiederholten mal verschwitzt sauber abzuwickeln. Konkret haben Sie mich als Verantwortlichen nicht erreicht (habe nie eine Information erhalten, dass sie es überhaupt versucht hatten). Das hat dazu geführt, dass unsere Website offline ging wegen fehlendem Zertifikat. Sectigo ist ein unzuverlässiger Partner für mich. Man muss Ihnen nachrennen, damit sie ihre Arbeit erledgien. Für mich unglaublich und sehr bitter. Einen Tag offline hatte uns einen sehr grossen Schaden verursacht. Ich hoffe, dass diese Rezension Sectigo erreicht und diese Ihre Prozesse kritisch hinterfragen.

Absoluter Horror,

ich wollte ein einfaches S(/mime Zertifikat bestellen und hab dann mal locker 4 Stunden vergeudet und das alles OHNE Ergebnis. Irgendwelche CER müssen durchlaufen werden, alles OHNE Erfolg. Diverse Chats mit Textbausteinen. Bekomme irgend ein .CRT bundle, mit dem ich NICHTS anfangen kann,
Dann soll ich irgendetwas COLLECT, habe aber keinen privaten Schlüssel.

NIE WIEDER SECTIGO!
