Dream come true backyard sauna
I've been dreaming of a backyard sauna for years and finally made it happen! Ordered an outdoor barrel sauna from Saunalife, and it showed up on our drive in less than a week. The wood smells amazing and the sauna heats up fast. Highly recommend!

Sauna is very well made and very easy to assemble. Works great too. Only downside was the shipping. The carrier was not pleasant at all to deal with. However, Select saunas may not have much control over that

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but your statements are simply not true. We did respond regarding your order, multiple times, and we have records of every interaction.
Your PA contacted us repeatedly through call and live chat, and we assisted with a status update using the tracking information that was sent to you nearly two weeks. This is the exact same tracking information that was emailed to you on November 20th.
On the day your PA asked for tracking again, we sent it directly to him via email as requested, which again we have records of. Later that same day, you emailed threatening a chargeback if you “didn’t hear about delivery,” even though the tracking details had already been sent and your PA had been advised to contact the carrier directly for delivery timing.
There was no lapse in communication, we responded every time and provided the tracking promptly, both to you and your PA. You already had full access to the tracking, and during the busiest time of the year we can’t prioritize repeated requests for the exact same information.
Carrier delays are outside anyone’s control, and the most accurate delivery updates always come directly from the carrier. We’re happy to help, but we do expect the tracking we send to be reviewed rather than asked for again and again.

Was the most affordable location to buy…
Was the most affordable location to buy a sauna. They also shipped very fast, like in less than a week! The sauna was an Almost Heaven Hillsboro. Select Saunas even put in detailed instructions for both the sauna construction and the heater setup.

I was excited to buy, but had a simple question about a stove before I was ready. After nearly a week of unreturned phone calls/messages, unanswered emails, and unread support chats, I went elsewhere.

Bought the SaunaLife G2 4-Person…
Bought the SaunaLife G2 4-Person Outdoor Cabin Sauna and Harvia Cilidro heater. Purchased from Select Sauna due to its “fast shipping” but it was an effort for the item to get delivered. Left the factory fast but sat in the local carriers warehouse for almost 2 weeks. Reached out to select Sauna and got a return email that said they would look into this oddity. 2 days past and the director of operations still has not responded to any emails.
I took it upon myself to call the carrier directly. Then and only then did I make any progress.
When the delivery came, the box was completely mangled. This was NOT a carrier issue, it’s the open crate packaging. Luckily after doing complete inventory nothing was missing or broken.
The sauna itself was fine, other than not one single part was labeled so it took good part of the day to sort and figure out what piece is what.
The heater is top notch - works like a charm.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We completely understand your frustration with the delay. While your sauna did, in fact, ship out quickly as promised, it was held up at the local carrier’s warehouse for an unusually long period, which was entirely on their end.
As soon as you reported this, we reached out to SaunaLife’s shipping team (who manage the carrier) to investigate. By the time we received an update, your delivery had already been completed. If it were in our hands directly, we would have resolved this same day, but because we use our supplier’s shipping account to pass on cost savings to our customers, communication sometimes takes longer than we’d like.
We’re very glad to hear everything arrived safely despite the rough crate condition, and that your heater is performing well. We’ve reported the issues with packaging, so this can be reviewed and prevented going forward. Thank you again for your patience with your order.

Sent wrong sauna
Sent wrong sauna, included an erroneous box of rocks, no heater control, parts missing, no speaker, no free bucket, ladle or hygrometer, even had a door that wasn't shown on website for any model. No work hours on Saturday made for a frustrating partial assembly. Good contact on Sunday, very helpful but everything referred to Almost Heaven. Waiting to see resolution.

Easy set-up very manageable
Easy set-up, my wife and I completed in less than six hours crate to finished. We are in our 70's, anyone can do it.
