Payed through shop pay got scammed PLEASE DONT BUY THROUGH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY, GO THROUGH PAYPAL where your MONEY and DATA are PROTECTED ….IV DELETED THE APP

I’m really disappointed with Shop Pay. I reached out to their customer service regarding a refund for a purchase I made through one of their stores, and after several days, I’ve received no response. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel ignored when you’re trying to resolve an issue.

On top of that, I tried leaving a review for the store I had trouble with, and it was never approved. This raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of the reviews displayed on their platform. Are they filtering out negative reviews? Are the reviews even real? It feels like the system is either controlled, manipulated, or both.

If Shop Pay can’t ensure accountability for the stores they partner with or provide proper customer support, it’s hard to trust the platform. Definitely reconsidering using their service again.

Keep away from this company very disappointed with them I payed for an item through them turns out the merchant I bought from had been hacked. Trying to get refund through this company is a nightmare ended up contacting my bank they are sorting it will not use this company gain

I went to buy something and wanted to send it to my default address. I click pay now and it changes the address to the last address I ordered to so now I have a package for shipped to somewhere totally incorrect. The brand can't update the address so now I'm stuck waiting for this to deliver so I can return it. This isn't the first time this happened.

Shop Cash is impossible to apply to orders. Help nonexistent and the '"help" articles offer nothing. Only option is to email them and wait and wait for a reply. Obviously they make it as difficult and frustrating as possible to use the shop cash, so users just give up. Don't fall for it. Awful.

Yesterday I buy by Ninepine 2 trousers with my credit card and I saw shoppay but I didn't take attention to this. So this morning I was looking on my credit card app and I was surprise that their was a reservation from shoppay 0,00 and I didn't give permission that they can use my card because I pay Ninepine for the trousers. It not possible to delete it. I did not like this

Trying to contact them about a transaction online through them where retailer is not responding. No way to do it without downloading the app and supplying all my details. Not acceptable. Paypal supports buyers being scammed. Will never buy from another retailer where I need to use this method.

MAJORLY intrusive. Pops up and sends a text every time I go shop anywhere that uses shop pay. Deleted my account after having to be messaged 2 codes to even get there- I just hope the deletion worked.

Haven’t received my product there is no complaint number refers me to the seller seller has no complaint number has not responded to emails. And I’m forced to continue payments through affirm because I use them.

Shop Pay (Shopify in sheep's clothing) is terrible for international transactions. It sends false fraud alerts to merchants, causing unnecessary delays. And the customer service response is pathetic as they hide behind the fact that the parent - Shopify - is the the payment processor. I can not delete an account I never signed up for . This is insane

shoppay is HIGHLY INVASIVE. signs you up, without realising. Then to delete account is even more of a nightmare. No ability to escalate case. For me shoppay behaves like a SCAM. I do not use the shoppay app and to delete account using the web link did not work, no matter how much clearing cache I did, or use another browser. Took me 10 days to finally delete account.

I don't even know how I ended up with one Shop Pay account let alone two! Be wary of this feature when you are shopping online, they like to pop up at the last minute when you are trying to check out and make you spend more money on items you don't even want. I have been duped a couple of times. Eventually managed to delete both accounts (not easy to find how to do that!) and I won't be using the Shop Pay option again.

This is part of Shopify and appalling system. Impossible to contact anyone, they impose themselves on all your shopping sites without you intentionally doing so. You can't complain easily about a shop you have purchased anything from and they do not contact you regarding it. NEVER USE is my advise, safer to use PayPal or a credit card, DREADFUL DREADFUL customer service. Worst I have ever experienced.

What is very wrong about this is it retains your credit card information and uses it without permission. I have used shop pay before with a online transaction and didn't realise they retained all my information, they never asked me! So tonight when making a online purchase when I selected the option to pay, rather than getting the option for method of payment, it was automatically debited to the credit card information Shop Pay had retained from another company I had purchased with. So at no time was I given the information that they were debiting my credit card and did not seek my agreement to the transaction! Very angry about and will seek to have my information removed from Shop Pay as I do not want a repeat. I will contact my bank tomorrow, Saturday but it will be hard to fix. So beware!

I've been scammed by Shoppay, I bought a CarSync Premium from drive-connect 44.00 pounds, And after contacting Shoppay, no much help. Can't even open the order on the app. No sure what to do next. I think I lost 44.00 Pounds.

I have made several purchases with ShopPay but this is the first time I have had an issue with ShopPay and they do not mediate. You have to submit your complaints through the merchant. I did message FlexiShop through my ShopPay account. I also emailed the merchant FlexiShop (July 14, 2024). I purchased a JumpStarter & Air Pump (JSAP) from Buvaye. I received the equipment on July 13 and tested it on July 14 on my low-pressure tires. The equipment kept shutting off after a few seconds. I attempted all four tires and the JSAP equipment shut off every time after a few seconds. The equipment also comes with a few attachments (i.e., bike tire, ball, etc.) and none fit the equipment. ShopPay has also deleted my order from this merchant which is why it is so important to screenshot and save your proof of purchase. This defective equipment is also being sold on Amazon. I will submit my reviews/complaints everywhere I find this merchant and ShopPay. ShopPay is located in Canada so it is easy for them to avoid any responsibility. I am going to close my ShopPay and I would advise others to do so as well because if you encounter any issues and the merchant fails to replace, refund or even communicate with you, you will NOT get any assistance from ShopPay. They just want your business and your money. Stick with PayPal. At least you can get your money back it your order never arrives, the merchant refuses to communicate or replace/refund and PayPal always takes responsibility with the merchants they do business with. Same as Amazon. ShopPay is a waste of time...
