Bridesmaid dress arrived with a stain and messed up hem. They agreed, but would do nothing to replace with the same dress. Suggested I wash a satin gown to remove the stain....

We stand behind the quality of our dresses, and in the event there is a concern or error, we always want to do everything we can to help. It looks like our quality assurance team did explain that we ordinarily would re-make your dress, but because of how quickly the wedding was approaching, we unfortunately did not have enough time to re-make the dress. We have a small inventory in our office and did offer to replace with one of those dresses, but we were not able to issue both a refund and send a replacement dress as you requested. Our fabric is designed to be machine washable, so that solution was offered when you stated you would rather take the partial refund and keep your original dress.

This company offers beautiful and…

This company offers beautiful and extravagant dresses, but unfortunately, their customer service is not up to par. Despite being a loyal customer for almost a year and purchasing several wedding dresses, when one of my dresses got stolen, they were unwilling to assist me with the matter. I would advise others to spend their money on a business that prioritizes customer service over profit.

However, we understand the importance of having your dress on time, so we have helped as much as we can given the circumstances. We filed a claim with FedEx on 11/2/23, and the email reference number was provided to you. We have not been given a claim number from FedEx.

Additionally, we complied with the chargeback you submitted with your bank. On 1/10/24, the chargeback was resolved in your favor, so you have already received a full refund, regardless of the outcome of the FedEx claim.

Again, we are sorry that you have been disappointed in your experience; we have done everything possible to assist in this unfortunate situation.

Don't Use Revelry for Bridesmaid Dresses

I was disappointed with my Revelry experience and attempted to leave a review on their website but it was never posted... so beware that they don't post negative reviews. A couple of things went wrong with my purchase. First, they sent my dress to the wrong address and it was very complicated trying to get it sent to me. Thankfully the person that received the dress shipped it back (already opened and crumpled up) or I wouldn't have had a dress for the wedding since it was made to order and couldn't be remade in 6 weeks. I wouldn't order anything from this company for a wedding unless it is 6 months ahead of time.

I was also disappointed with the quality of my dress, the dress they sent me to try on was in black and I never received the color swatches that I ordered. The dress in black looked good but the sage colored dress did not look the same because you could see the whole outline of the pads in the chest. It seems very difficult to sell made to order dresses when you cannot try on the dress in the color you intend to order. I had to wear a shaw throughout the wedding to hide the top of the dress. My seamstress charged me extra because the dress was made uneven at the bottom and I had to rush the alterations due to the very late delivery. Overall, I have ordered bridesmaid dresses in this price range from companies that use much better quality materials and have backup dresses in case something goes wrong.

We know how important it is to have your dress in a timely manner, especially when you ordered your dress to have in plenty of time before the wedding. We are still working with our shipping carrier to understand what happened with your order - inexplicably, the address was changed while the package was in transit. We have a very small inventory of dresses that can be used in emergencies, but unfortunately we did not have any that would have been a suitable replacement for yours. We acknowledge that waiting for your dress to be returned to us was not ideal, and for that we are sorry. Additionally, we are passing along your feedback about the pads being visible in this particular style/color combination. If you can provide our team with more details about your swatch order, we are happy to look into our options.

never received

Myself and another bridesmaid ordered dresses in May for a November Wedding. The maid of honor paid extra for try on service and never received her dress. Revelry stated they would be unable to make another dress in time for the wedding and asked us to reconsider the brides choice of color. I asked if my dress could be canceled due to their inability to make the dresses ordered. They said no and put my order on hold until after the wedding occurred. Still have not received my dress and the wedding is passed. We ended up ordering our dresses from Azazie and they worked perfectly. This company is a fraud and does not send the product that is purchased.

There was only one credit card dispute that ended on 7/11/23 and you did not ship my dress until after the wedding occurred 11/6/23. Had you not lost the Maid of Honor's dress and stated it could not be made again, there would have been no need to ask for a cancellation, as we chose your company for the dresses. This has been a truly terrible experience that was completely due to your companies incompetencies to deliver 2 out of the 3 dresses ordered.

We never state that our dresses are "custom;" rather we explain on each product page that they are Made to Order, which means the fabric is cut for your dress when you submit the order.

Our team has been in communication with you since June of this year. Your initial request to cancel your order was unfortunately denied because your dress had been in production for a month at that point. You filed multiple credit card disputes, and any open disputes prevent us from being able to ship orders. This was explained in an email on August 29, 2023.

On October 21, 2023, you requested tracking information for this order since the dispute should have been closed. The order was shipped via FedEx and was delivered on 11/6/23.

Due to the unusual circumstance of having multiple credit card disputes, your order was held for longer than normal, which was explained to you.

As explained in the reply to your previous complaint, we are happy to work directly with the maid of honor on their unique situation.

Horrible customer service

Ordered a bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding. The fed ex company left my package outside my apartment building instead of leaving it inside. Someone now has either stolen it or it is lost. When I called to Revelry and asked for a refund or a new delivery they said they don’t handle lost or stolen items. HHOW RIDICULOUS?!? What kind of company doesn’t give refunds for stolen or lost items when it’s not the customers fault? Company is a total scam. Now not only am I out a dress I’m out over $200.

Company hates its customers

I’ve spend thousands of dollars with them and they do not care one bit for their customers. I was about to place a large order for pj sets and prior to I had called in to make sure there were no promotions currently or upcoming I had been missing, they told me no that they were a new product so they wouldn’t have any promotions on them. Only to find out a week later that they ran a huge promotion on them that would have saved me $150. So they lied and I’m out hard earned money I could have easily saved. As a bride this is a huge discount needed as everyone knows how expensive weddings can be. When I contacted them asking them to apply it they declined saying they can’t apply a discount retroactively lol which is false. Don’t shop here they just want to bleed you dry and don’t care about anyone giving them business.

In reviewing the recording of your phone call (August 9), the representative you spoke with explained that as a new product, there was not a discount policy set up, but it could change in the next few weeks. Your order was also placed on August 9, as you expressed that you needed the pajamas quickly for your October wedding. On August 31, we did begin a promotion on select pajama pieces. Considering the production time required for these pieces, it is possible that had the pajamas been not been ordered til August 31, they might not arrive in time for your wedding. Again, we are sorry that this was frustrating or disappointing - there was no malicious intent on our end, and we truly do care about our customers and strive to provide an excellent experience.

Blue hair bridesmaid

my bridesmaid dyed her hair blue 4 days before my wedding, so I had to take her out and replace her. I needed a new dress shipped overnight to make it in time. I ordered one dress in the wrong color and called to cancel. They immediately contacted the shipper and got it before it was sent out so I could be refunded and refunded me the same day. They were also keeping in touch with me through the texting option of their customer service about the correct dress getting to fedex to be sent to me! 12/10 customer service. They answered the phone right away when I called (which I feel like never happens anymore) and helped put my mind at ease that it would make it on time. Definitely saved my a** for my wedding day and I would use them all over again!!!

I ordered this dress on 5/4/2023 and have not received the item or the tracking as of yet 7/19/2023. I tried to cancel my order since the company lost the maid of honors dress and cannot replace the item in time to reship. Due to this, we had to change companies, so that we can match. Revelry stated it cannot be cancelled or returned, but wished me well on the resell. I DO NOT HAVE AN ITEM TO RESELL. I have not received the item. I tried to dispute with my credit card, but was told I cannot dispute as it is a custom dress. This company does not provide custom dresses, as I chose my typical size out of the options given. I have reopened my dispute, as I never received a product from this company. They have also deleted my review under the flagging option, even though I have a valid order number.

The dress is a size 12 that I chose from your option of sizes... not really made to order. This is a normal dress size that all stores carry. I do have an open dispute as well.

We understand that plans can change and do our best to accommodate, but we are also upfront about our Final Sale policy throughout the checkout process, which you must agree to when completing an order. You next contacted us on June 6 asking to cancel your order. We promptly replied that your order was too far along in the production process to be canceled. Because there is now an open credit card dispute on the transaction, we are not able to issue any kind of refund or ship the dress until the dispute has been closed.

Not custom - just expensive

Not custom just expensive. But if they tell you it's "custom", they can charge you more, be slow on turnaround times, not allow you to return the dress, and upsell you on rush shipping because you're afraid your dress won't make it on time. Really wish the bride had checked this site before ordering from Revelry. The sizes run small so now I feel bad about myself ordering two sizes up for a dress I will absolutely never wear again. Talk about highway robbery.

We do encourage use of our size chart and home try on program to ensure you select the size that you will be most comfortable in.

Terrible Customer Service

LEAVING THIS REVIEW HERE BECAUSE REVELRY WON'T LET ME PUBLISH A REVIEW ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT IS ONLY 1 STAR (I HAVE TRIED 4 TIMES NOW, AND UPON GOOGLING DISCOVERED THAT THIS HAPPENS TO OTHER PEOPLE TOO). MY DRESS WAS DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS BY FEDEX. I CALLED FEDEX TO FILE A CLAIM, AND THEY SAID THAT REVELRY HAS IT SET UP SO THAT ONLY REVELRY CAN FILE CLAIMS/WORK WITH FEDEX REGARDING DELIVERIES. SO I CALLED REVELRY AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY SAID THEY WOULD FILE A CLAIM, BUT THAT FEDEX WOULD LIKELY DENY IT AND I WOULDN'T KNOW THE OUTCOME FOR UP TO 60 DAYS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND OR SEND ME A NEW DRESS. I ALREADY THOUGHT IT WAS RIDICULOUS THAT I HAD TO PAY TO JUST TRY DRESSES ON, BUT NOW I'M OUT OVER $200 AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSOTMER SERVICE. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM REVELRY AGAIN, AND THE BRIDE HAS ACTUALLY DECIDED NOT TO USE REVELRY ANYMORE DUE TO THIS INCIDENT.

Reply to Revelry: I did speak to an agent and said that I cannot use a different style dress. One, because I paid for home try on of that specific style that I ordered, and more importantly, because the style I ordered is what the bride chose. She should not be expected to change her plans because of a delivery issue. I ordered a specific product and that is what I should get, or my money back. Regardless, she has decided to use a different company as it’s ridiculous for you to expect us to keep paying for dresses that aren’t delivered (her other bridesmaid had the same issue). Very disappointing customer service, and you should definitely update your algorithm so people can leave honest reviews on your page and aren’t forced to select more than one star when that wasn’t their experience.

In the unfortunate instance of a delivery issue, we do everything we can to help. Because our dresses are made to order, we do not have dresses in every size, fabric, color, and length available and ready to ship from our warehouse. We did have two dresses in our warehouse, very similar to the dress that was originally ordered, that we offered to send to you while we work with FedEx to locate the original package. We never received a response, but we will be happy to help if you reply to that email thread.

EDIT: We are continuing to escalate this issue with FedEx - we understand how important it is for you to have the correct dress for this wedding. The offers for replacement dresses were intended to be something for you to have until we have more information from FedEx - we completely understand that it's not always possible to change styles. We always like to give our customers options whenever possible. This is still an open and active investigation, and we anticipate having a response soon.

Beware of sale items

Purchased a “ready to wear” bridal dress. It was on sale for 140 down from 195. I didn’t realize that sale items were not returnable. When the dress arrived, the style was very nice but it looked yellow - as if it had been in stock too long. I attempted to return in immediately but was told that was not possible as it was a sale item. I guess I will donate it to Goodwill.

I don't know where to begin...

This company has made me feel bad about myself from the start about ordering the wrong size in a maternity dress. The fact that it takes forever to actually receive a dress and no time AT ALL to make a return if the size is wrong is absolutely ridiculous! I have been unhappy with this company from the beginning. I'm not allowed to return the dress and get a refund, so I'm out over $250 after paying for expedited shipping and a rush on the dress which I will still not get in time for the wedding if alterations are needed. I'm sure they would be...

Absolutely horrible!! Please avoid. You can shop Azazie for much better selection, timing and price with full refund on your dress.

What a mess…

The quoted delivery was 15 business days - it’s been over 20. The cost of all the shipping and duty tax is actually more than the dress itself. This better be one hell of a dress because right now it’s not worth the experience or the money.

The bride was trying to keep costs under $200 and were over $400 each. That’s a lot of dough that could be better spent.

So I purchased a dress in October and…

So I purchased a dress in October and the size chart is not right for the satin dress. I tried to send them a picture, and they said that the “material stretches”… it’s satin. The breast area was off too, and was off by 4 inches! They said that it is a smaller because of the cups they added… When I wrote a review on the knot they took it off. It’s very biased. I wish there was a zero, please don’t waste your time with this company. Very poor and definitely not made to order!

Our Quality Assurance team explained to you how the bust measurement should include each cup, which makes up the 4" difference you saw. Additionally, based on the measurements you provided, our QA team recommended a different size, located a new dress in that size, and (because we understand how important it is to have a dress that you look and feel great in for the wedding) offered to exchange for you. You initially agreed, then replied the following day that you would no longer need a return. Again, we take quality and sizing issues very seriously, and we did offer a solution that initially was agreeable.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. This business is terrible. I ordered 5 dresses for my bridesmaids, and they all came a week before the wedding with issues (seams were off, one of them had a rip, another was missing the back clasp).

Honestly I never give reviews … I don’t want another bride to go through what I did.

They also did nothing to rectify this, they offered me 25 bucks to get the clasp fixed (a week out from my wedding). Not helpful.

Looked nice but too many issues

I was just a bridesmaid and 3 of us had the sequins and 3 had satin. I had the sequin and was overall happy with the fit and quality of my dress but one of the other girls had problems with her zipper (it wasn't the size it was the zipper) and all 3 of us with sequins had alot of areas the material underneath was showing (like on the neckline and the leg slit it it didn't line up right) Also be prepared for a trail of sequins everywhere. They are literally all over my house just from trying it on. I ordered 1 size larger than my normal size and only needed slight alterations. The 3 girls in satin had MAJOR problems. There were so many pulls in the dress and once they stood next to us in our sequins it went way down hill from there. They had snags and pulls everywhere so by the ceremony the dresses looked really bad! The satin also is not a forgiving material so unless you are tiny, its not an easy dress to pull off. I think the dresses looked nice overall when we first put them on but for these issues I would not recommend them or buy them again. I think the sequin dresses were better quality than the satin but I wouldn't recommend either one.

Beautiful velvet!

I had three attendants and they each had a different color and style of velvet. Each were stunning. Loved that they could try before they bought. And prices were great! I want to order now for myself. Absolutely 5 star quality.

Horrible customer service for pregnant women!

There is nothing nice I can say about using this company. After ordering a dress for a wedding 6 months in advance I found out I was pregnant. Knowing it wouldn’t fit me I called and begged for an exchange (NOT refund). They pretended to “really care” about their pregnant bridesmaids so they told me to return the dress and then order a larger size. I paid for the shipping to return only to be told 5 days later they wouldn’t accept the dress because they could tell it had been worn. The tags were all still intact and I had only briefly tried it on! Then they told me they were either going to discard the dress or I’d have to pay for shipping to get it back! After literally crying on the phone and begging for just a larger size they refused. The entire conversation turned into “their word against mine.” It’s really sad that there is no compassion for pregnant women in an industry catered only to women. I would never use this company again nor recommend it. The fabric is horrible, and since it looked like I wore it out (with tags on apparently) I think that speaks volume of the poor fabric quality. I’m praying I find an outstanding alterations place that will be more helpful and reasonable than Revelry. I refuse to give this company and more money!

This place BLOWS.

This company is incredibly rude and does not care about the customer. I ordered a bridesmaid dress 4 and a half months in advance for the wedding I was going to be in. I filled out all the information asked including the date of the wedding and when I'd need it by. After two and a half months passed and I got no confirmation regarding when it would arrive, I gave customer service a call. When asked when the dress would arrive they told me they hadn't even started the process of making the dress yet and that it wouldn't be ready/delivered unti a month after the wedding. I offered to pay extra to rush the order and they declined. I then told them not to bother starting the process of making it and to just cancel the order and refund my 300$ because the dress would be of no use to me after the wedding is over. The representative said she would put in the request for a cancel but they have been "too busy" so the email sent out for the cancel might not get a response for a week and then they would call me with an answer. I made sure to tell them to make a note of the date I put in the cancelation because I wanted them to stop production asap. A week went by without contact so I called them back and they still hadn't even started processing the cancelation. They promised to call me back the moment they got a response. Three days later I get a text message (not a phone call) declining the refund because they had just started making the dress even though I clearly told them to stop production weeks earlier. When I called back again to complain the rep was short with me and told me to just find a way to re-sell the dress on my own time. Even though they are literally a site that sells dresses and could re-sell it without any money lost. Plus they hadn't even finished or delivered the dress yet.
So I would suggest NOT purchasing anything off this site if you want it on time or if you don't want crap customer service.

Oh and PS when I finally saw the hideous thing its was a POS. The material was no where near worth the amount of money they charge and from the looks of it the size chart was off according to 1 of the 4 Bridesmaids who actually got there's in time.

Revelry markets their home try-ons as $10 which is great but as soon as you enter your address they tack on another $11-13 for shipping that you have to pay every time you try on, and when you order your final dress. They don’t let you choose the color of your home try on and won’t let you see the actual color of the dress you’re going to buy before you purchase. The dresses also arrive in shambles hanging off the hanger and strewn in the box sloppily. They did send a free shipping coupon to me that had no expiration, yet now when I’m trying to use it they are claiming that they cannot honor the code. I’ve gone back and forth with their apathetic and unhelpful customer service team all day and I am fed up beyond belief. If you’re a bride don’t put your bridesmaids through the struggle of ordering from this terrible company.
