Shurgard Self Storage - Croydon Purley Way Reviews 

I joined shurgard yesterday and the staff member Anthony who dealt with my enquiries , was so welcoming and very helpful. He explained everything thoroughly, and that in return gave me the confidence to book a unit.

Shurgard makes self storage so easy. Numerous locations and easy online set up. Calendar monthly payments; not this 4 weekly malarkey where the customer loses out a lot I feel.
A manager mostly based at Croydon Purley Way- Darren an absolute star- a real asset to the company! He knows his onions!!
Very helpful- if it can be done Darren will sort it. He’s great. I’m going to miss dealing with him now I’m located at a different branch as he is so knowledgeable.

Safe, easy to access, very good to deal with. We are a small business and Shurgard provide very good value storage for documents, office equipment and other sundries.

Overall, a great storage facility feels clean and well maintained with excellent security, convenient opening hours and a very easy to use app. The customer service has been fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, and any questions I’ve had have been dealt with quickly. Well done Shurgard Purley.

Darren and Matthew was very helpful. Help me change my lock unique of my unit and fixed my broken door. They were nice polite and had good customer service. I would definitely recommend.

I had a really positive experience at Shurgard Purley Way, thanks to Joe. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout. Rather than pushing for a more expensive option, he took the time to understand what I needed and actually helped me find a more cost-effective solution.

It’s rare to come across customer service that feels this honest and considerate. Joe made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. Outstanding service from start to finish.

I booked and paid for a storage unit online and received multiple confirmations with access codes the day before my move. When I arrived with my moving company, the gate wouldn’t open.

The next day I found out my booking had been cancelled because I hadn’t sent proof of address – something they only asked for after taking my payment. They never warned me the booking would be cancelled, just blacklisted me instead.

So they:
1. Took my payment before verifying me.
2. Confirmed my access through three different channels.
3. Cancelled everything without notice on the move-in day.

Completely ridiculous. Fix your system before taking people’s money.

Excellent facilities and customer service.
Currently using for house move, would highly recommend.
