Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I ordered two costumes and both measurements fell well within their size guide. When I got the costumes, the 1st BARELY filted my son when in fact it should of been too big. As for mine, Unless your were anorexic, not a chance was I going to fit into it. Even the boots were supposed to be a US 11 but were more like a US 8. Was told I could return but at my own expense. Returns cost me over €100 and then they said they never received the package. Thank God I used PayPal and I showed my proof of postage and all email correspondence with this SCAM CHINESE site. DO NOT BUY OFF THIS COMPAMY and if you do, be sure to use PAYPAL.

We purchased a $129 "deluxe" costume from them with shoes and wig as separate items. The costume they sent was constructed terribly, and they did not respond well when I called to get help. They only sewed on one half of several snaps, several seams broke open when trying it on (it was not too small), a piece that goes from hip to hip was cut too small for any adult and didn't line up with the snaps for it, side panels didn't line up and there were a number of decorative elements that fell right off since they had been hot glued to the costume. They offered to send extra snaps and give a very small partial refund and they never sent either. To have something for my daughter to wear for her convention, I had to re-sew seams, add stabilizing material to the inside and reattach decorations. This company is a pass - pick someone else.

My daughter purchased a cosplay for over $250 expecting great quality. It was made with super cheap quality (she has since bought one for $100 from Amazon that used actual cloth and metal).

They do not honor a true return, as they do not help provide a return shipping label. We are seeing over $150 shipping prices to return this product, which means we ARE NOT getting our money back.

This website is a SCAM as far as I'm concerned. Do not give them a cent.

Further to previous reviews.. I had infact needed to send back goods because they did NOT make the suit to my measurements.. they are very dodgy 🔺️🔺️🔺️ phone number does not work and they may operate as simcosplay but their known as well perfect pay on paypal..

also to be cautious they DONT provide a full correct order form IE with contact details etc just a mere piece of paper with words stating what was ordered with an image.. so paypal case was opened where I provided everything correctly

still to this date they don't apolgise to customers at all & its left me very angry at them to take money which i now have to wait to get back from paypal for another week (they have made zero attempts to respond to open paypal case) because while the return sits in china customs they know fully well they as a company may have fees to pay & the return address given they would be contact there to pay it since they don't have a working phone number

AVOID if looming for tailored suits and they make them wrong!!!

Recently i bought a deadpool 3 suit for halloween with boots after 1 week it was shiped and then after 1 and half week it came to germany. When i asked them if it was shiped to germany they replied within 24 hours. When it came it was the exact size and very high quality.
If someone wants a good deadpool suit simcosplay is good site.

The costume was great and loved the material it was made from. Will be ordering my son's costumes from here every year.

1 star all the way. There really should be zero stars for this place. I ordered a costume in early September and paid extra to have it expedited. I heard nothing from them for weeks. I wrote several emails and tried calling their phone number but could never get through no matter what time of day or night I called. I never received any communication from them whatsoever. My wife decided to send them a Facebook message and they said the order wasn’t ready and if we’re not happy with that then we could get a refund. No “sorry for it taking so long” or “we will work on getting this to you quickly”. This place is absolutely terrible and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Save yourself and go with an American company!!!

I feel completely scammed by Simcosplay. I ordered items worth 100€, and what I received was far from what was promised. Despite carefully following their sizing chart, the clothing I received was not true to size and did not fit at all. The quality was also extremely poor and nowhere near what you would expect for the price.

When I reached out to their customer service for a refund, I was told that I need to return the items to China at my own expense. The cost for this return shipment is 74.95€, almost the same price as the original order! It’s absurd that they expect customers to pay such a high return fee. To make matters worse, they refuse to cover any of these costs, which goes against fair consumer practices.

I feel trapped in a scam where they sell subpar products and make it nearly impossible for you to get your money back. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from Simcosplay to think twice. This company is not trustworthy and does not respect their customers. Absolutely terrible experience!

DON’T BUY. From them. Do your self a favor and buy elsewhere. Was sent too bib. I paid $99.00 for return yo china. The price was $263.00 I rea refund for only $205. They still owe $57.00 to me. Which they won’t return. So it cost me $156.00 for getting nothing. I sure wish I would have read the reviews first. There are other companies y to I buy from. Again. Simcosplay is a ripoff.

This negative review is for anyone that’s interested in purchasing Cloud Strife Cosplay Rebirth. Before you make your purchase know this, unless you’re super thin, none and I mean none of these accessories that come with the cosplay will fit you. After exchange two msgs with support since they stopped responding to me, they think everyone wears the same size gloves, same size wrist and same size forearms. No where on the page with Clouds Cosplay does it state that the accessories cannot be tailored to one’s body. Even though it’s made out of incredibly cheap and I do mean cheap foam/plastic. The leather gloves ripped after I put them on for the first time. My pauldron arrived with a massive crack, you can look at the photos attached to this review for proof. The bracelet isn’t even glued evenly, same thing with the gauntlet. Completely uneven and doesn’t even fit my wrist. I purchased this cosplay and even paid extra for the sole purpose of having everything fit, not just the pants or shirt. And if you’re guessing what support said they could do about the issues. We’ll send you a new Pauldron but you’ll pay for the shipping, you can sew the gloves yourself and you’re out of luck with the other two accessories. That’s beyond bs since I almost paid two hundred dollars for a pretty bad quality cosplay with broken/acc that don’t fit.

So in short, don’t buy this unless you’re tiny and I mean tiny. Getting tailored does absolutely nothing.

I’ll never buy from you again and I’ll make sure when I attend cons, I’ll definitely let them know to never purchase from your website.

I ordered a costume from them and not only did it arrive a week late half of it was torn and it wasn't the size I ordered. When I raised this with them they told me that it wasn't their problem as it had been delivered. When I asked for a refund they asked told me that they wouldn't do it. All in all, a very disappointing experience, you'd get better quality and customer service from wish.com.

For an overseas shop they actually shipped my order quite fast, I’m impressed.

Just last month around the end of April I bought a Lady Deadpool and Wolverine custom full costume for my wife and myself. The costumes came in within about a month l, which is not bad due to customization. The quality is great and custom sizing is 85% correct but they need to know how to sew when it comes to the inseam and the neck area when it is a one piece suite by adding a stretchable fabric so when you sit down it doesn't feel like your getting choked. They also state that gloves are one size which shouldn't be. My wife is 5'7" and the glove size fit a 5ft female or shorter. Male glove also feel it's medium and finders on the thin side. They need to learn how to make US sizes. Boots for both female and male is one size short, so order one size bigger.

I wish I could leave negative stars, the venom costume I ordered for my son was ripping after he wore it for a hour! I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. Scam

They are scammers!

I paid for my order, and it didn't arrive. They told me I didn't type my address or phone number, and they lied because I did.

Now they are telling me that they will refund only 70% of my order. BE AWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

My costume was well done and I liked it if I had to be honest. I’ve seen the reviews and hesitated, but the place wasn’t actually that bad

SCAM COMPANY!! The first spiderman costume I received was for an actor who is quite small - he put it on and the head zip area tore. They told me it was my fault that I should have bought an XL for him!!
They agreed to give me a refund, however I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as a really important corporate event booked in early October and I needed 5 costumes and paid over $1,500 !! I asked would this be possible in this time frame and they took the order. Instead of the refund on the 1st costume I just asked them to prioritise this order and send by priority post. I stayed in contact with them every week checking that everything was going to plan with the order - and now, just 2 days before the event I got 1 line saying that due to the local holidays the costumes haven't left China!!! I've been emailing and emailing but they are ignoring me now. This is a disgrace. From other reviews it looks like what they do. There has to be some way to stop a company from behaving like this.

BEWARE!!! This company is located in CHINA. They will go silent on you if you ask for a refund. I believe I was just SCAMED. They take payment through PayPal so you have no recourse such as paying w/credit card. SMART SCAMMERS!

What is it called when a seller makes false statement in order to entice you to purchase from them? Fraudulent Misrepresentation.

My wife and I were going to go as Aquaman and Mera for Halloween. In order to avoid issues with timing, I ordered my Aquaman costume from #simcosplay on August 14. I am a doctor and I have experience as an engineer, so I am familiar with how a tape measure works, however I am not a tailor. Not to worry, #simcosplay says on their website: “For size, we are very cautious. We will actively communicate with our customers to solve the size errors that found [sic] by our tailor. Make sure our customer gets costume that suits him/her.” That did not happen.

The costume that arrived was too small. It was made for someone at least 3 inches shorter and much less muscular than me. This was not due to any measuring error on my part, because the suit itself was smaller than the measurements I sent them, and if anything, the measurements I sent them were a little too big. So clearly, this was their mistake, so I reached out to customer service. I was helped by maksimhc at their domain address. We traded emails back and forth several times as he attempted to get accurate measurements. Once we agreed on measurements (all of which were essentially the same except the sleeve and pant legs measurements were now shorter), they now tell me they cannot get the costume to me in time for Halloween! Even though I ordered well in advance on August 14!!! I agreed to send the costume back, figuring that if they fixed it, I could wear the costume for Halloween 2023.

The costume they sent didn’t match my original measurements. If they had sent the costume sized to fit my original measurements, I could have gotten the costume to work.

#simcosplay couldn’t replace my defective costume, so I had to return it for a refund. To add insult to injury, they didn’t even send a shipping label for the return even though it was their fault. As per maksimhc’s request I shipped the item back at a cost of $114. 9 months later, I received the costume back unchanged. According to the markings on the box, the box made it all the way to china only to have Simcosplay refuse to accept delivery. So I am out the $436 I paid for the costume and I am out the $114 used to ship the item to China. I have had better experiences with other costumers in China, and I will be sure to use them and avoid #simcosplay in the future.
