I purchased an electronic front door…
I purchased an electronic front door lock which unfortunately did not suit my existing multi-lock door. I was given excellent advice how to evaluate the situation as product itself is excellent. A refund had to issued which was done without quibble. Outstanding customer service.

Outstanding smart lock for my front door
I have to say at the outset that I was so impressed by this company.
I decided to replace the standard lock on my front door with a new smart lock.
After fairly exhaustive research I decided that the MF-SP Euro Profile Motorised Smart Cylinder Lock provided by Simpled met my requirements. Their online YouTube videos were a great help here. I needed it to provide access by fingerprint and also by entry of a numeric code sequence. Further, I didn’t want to make major changes to my front door.
I ordered it and it arrived the following day. I arranged for a local locksmith to fit it. Thanks to the detailed online manuals, he managed to do the job in less than an hour with no changes to my door that required remedial work. I had one post-installation query which they resolved in a matter of minutes. I now have a super-duper high tech lock on my front door and I’m delighted.
In summary, the service they provide is first class and the quality of the product is exceptional.

Perfect lock and outstanding service support
Absolutely first-class service from Simpled. I ordered a lock, and it was delivered the very next day. I carried out an installation of the lock the same day, and followed the guidelines and extremely easy-to-follow videos produced by Simpled. Installation was very easy on my multi-lock door. Setting up with the TT Lock app was very straightforward, and I was able to easily set up fingerprints, codes, and cards with the app. All was perfect until I found that there was an issue with the lock, and it remained unlocked due to a problem with the outside part of the door lock. I made contact with Support at Simpled and spoke to Steve Kerr of that department couldn't have been more helpful. He diagnosed that there was indeed a problem with the lock and instructed me on how to send him a video of the problem, just to confirm what we were both talking about. By return email, the problem was sorted, and a new outside part of the lock was dispatched to me. I could not be more impressed with the way this was handled by Steve on behalf of Simpled. Outstanding support resolving an issue extremely quickly and without fuss. Highly recommended for the standard of the lock and the support given for a problem that unfortunately happened during the manufacture of this particular lock - these things happen all the time, and it is the resolution that shows just how good this company is. 10/10

Lock works much better than I hoped.
My dog walker had grown her company so much that key management was an issue. The alternatives seemed to be a key safe or a smart lock. I have a fair amount of home automation a lot of which is depressingly inconsistent in operation. I bought the simpled EF smart lock with low expectations, but have been very pleasantly surprised. I get a very occasional "operation failed" on the fingerprint sensor, but the second try then works. The keypad and fobs work flawlessly. I am reasonably handy so had no difficulty fitting the lock using the chatty instructions. I also bought a hub, which initially would not connect to WiFi, but after a chat to a very knowledgeable real person at customer services, found the solution which was to replace the USB power supply, which was mine and not provided by Simpled. So far I am very impressed.

Product/website not as slick as the marketing would have you believe
Wanted to order one of their smart locks to replace one on a multipoint PVCu door. Spent considerable time on the phone with them first confiming it would be compatible, including uploading a video of the existing lock with the booking for their installation service.
Also ordered extra screws for my door thickness.
No emails received to confirm either the accessory purchase or the installation. Had to chase both via phone calls to confirm what was happening.
On the day of the installation, no advance call (which was promised) from the locksmith, he did arrive promptly and then proceeded to tell me the lock wasn't compatible with my door/existing multipoint gearbox. He showed me the email with my contact number that he was supposed to use to call me. My number in the email was correct, but when he clicked it to call, the wrong number came up in his phone's dialling screen. 🤦♂️
This was my experience and to top it off, checking their website for details of my accessories order today (29th June 2025) shows the message:
"Error establishing a database connection"
So in summary, poor purchase process (no email confirming order details etc), no advance call from locksmith, product non compatible and their website is down on a Sunday as well.

Great lock, highly recommend
I purchased my lock over two years ago, and it functioned perfectly until a spring broke, causing the handle to become loose. I contacted several representatives without success in obtaining a replacement part, but after speaking with Steve Kerr, he promptly sent me a free replacement part, resolving the issue efficiently. The lock has been excellent overall; I highly recommend it, and the Wi-Fi bridge is a valuable addition. My wife frequently forgot her keys, but this is no longer a problem.

Great Customer service. Excellent experience
I was fitting my sf-sps lock, and realised that the cable extender was missing. I spoke with Steve Kerr, at simpled. (even when the office was closed at 17:20 on a Friday evening), and he infomred me he will put 2 extenders in first class post tonight !!
Absolute star ! brilliant customer service.. thanks so very much !!
(also the product is great !!! had it working on a test bed !!)

As a master locksmith I fitted an SF…
As a master locksmith I fitted an SF model a year ago in place of another manufacturers lock for a very long standing customer with cerebral palsy. The lock with all it's various ways of operating has been of great value.

"Good morning,
I bought a smart lock from you last year. So far, it has been a great product in terms of how it functions and its reliability. However, it has developed rust on the weather-facing side of the lock. I have attached images of this.
Would it be possible to have replacement parts sent to me under the warranty, so that I can replace the rusted parts?"
At the time of writing (1/6/2025), I haven't heard back from them.

The lock is as good as it claims, does exactly as it says on the tin
The lock is as good as it claims on the Simpled website and the description is accurate.
Having just had a new uPVC front door fitted I was concerned about having to make modifications and invalidating the warranty. The lock fitted perfectly with no modifications required at all.
Following the supplied instructions I found it relatively easy to fit and it works exactly as I expected. The SS-SP version I got was not the cheapest, but it is well made and I thought good value for money.

Our Simpled key pad lock is in constant use in a sports club setting and has been a real bonus as we have now disposed of all the costly keys and electronic fobs.
Customer service from this company has been fantastic. They actually answer the phone quickly and resolve any queries very promptly. No hesitation in recommending or using again.

Hugely impressive technical support
I was hugely impressed by the technical support. Having spent months trying to find a local locksmith who knew anything about smart locks it was a revelation to contact Simpled. I spoke to a human being, not some hopelessly badly-programmed chatbot, and got detailed answers to every technical question, reasoned recommendations for which lock would be best for our village hall, and helpful advice on installation. Simply first-class service.

Great smart lock
I bought the double sided lock it arrived quickly and well packaged. I was able to fit it myself on my multipoint locking front door and ran into an issue once complete that the inside fingerprint sensor worked by touching it with any unregistered finger. I contacted Simpled tech support by email (due to being at work) they replied quickly and pointed out the inside lock needed to be set up as a separate lock in the App, I then did this and it resolved the issue straight away. The lock is great and I am very happy with it and the customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this lock again. There is also the added benefit of a physical key to open the lock should you batteries run out, a feature strangely missing off other well known brands. The App is easy to use and there are a multiple number of ways to open it or give out time limited e-keys.

Customer Service has an Angel 👼
My Slimline lock had a glitch with the fingerprint scanner and after 18 months of continuous use I sent a video of the glitch to Simpled customer service and Angel who works there literally made the whole process faultless and I now am less that 24 hours later having a replacement shipped out. Thank you You are literally and Angel.

Cannot beat the Customer Service!!
I contacted the Simpled team on a bank Holiday weekend about my lock that stopped working unexpectedly after 1 year.
I didn't expect a reply until after the long weekend, but not only did they get back to me promptly, they arranged a replacement lock to be sent to me as soon as possible!
I was amazed. This is the second simpled lock I have purchased for each of my front doors. It's so convenient, my kids don't have to use keys, nobody gets locked in, I wouldn't purchase another brand!
