Smart Energy Homes Ltd. Reviews

Nathan and Dan on the loft team were very quick, polite, tidy and explained everything well, also did a great job!
Cleaned up thoroughly when done as if they'd never been there.

Nathan and Ryan came to fit insulation in the attic and trickle vents in the windows. They polite and respectful, worked hard and efficiently to complete the work. They cleared away all the mess they made.

Charles and Liam here today, finishing off the snagging list.
I have to say all the trades have been excellent with a very high skill level and quality of work. The process was expertly coordinated and I have to mention the backroom staff kept me informed with which trades were coming and when .So a special mention and thanks to Jackie and Ashleigh in the office.

What a fantastic experience!
From the off the Craig, Jacob and Lewis were polite, friendly and easy to work with! They were sensitive to the fact that they were working in a period home and took time to prepare the house carefully before the work began. They worked quickly and efficiently and the results was of the highest standard!Delighted with the finish!Couldn’t have asked for a better team to tackle the job!
Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts Craig Jacob and Lewis! You really are the dream team!

Kristian is an excellent plasterer and a good all rounder. His work is so smooth and he is very good at clearing up after himself. He is very much a perfectionist where his work is concerned, which is great . Thanks Kristian

The Plumbers worked well, Ricky and te got so much done in a short space of time and were great guys to have around.

Max and Matt the solar Pv team were excellent, efficient and helpful doing a super job and taking time to explain systems and how it works.

This is no fault of the tradespeople, who were polite and organised, but the organisation and communication from office to us and between teams and office was not good. Lots of visits and people turning up when we weren’t told and due to so many subcontractors and time pressure on teams, the only thing that could be improved was planning and communication.

But overall, we got used to slightly chaotic logistics and left hand not talking to right hand because the finished work was good and everyone who worked here was a pleasure to have in our home

Liam from Smart Energy was super efficient fitting extractor fans in kitchen and bathroom. Liam spent time going through options for wiring and location of switches, which he kindly installed in the loft space, so no making good of walls / coving necessary. Fab job. Thank you Liam.

Gareth the electrician is worth his weight in gold. He's done a bit during the install and now has been back to finish the electrical snagging. He knows his trade and does it well. He deserves a shout out!

Jason and Jay are fantastic, they are professional and took time to explain every aspect of the work being carried out in the loft. A real pleasure and a credit to their trade. Excellent loft insulation and extractor fan housing. Thoroughly recommend.

Nathan and Ryan Loft Team
What an excellent team ! Both were polite, clean & tidy. Great communication and truly a fantastic service. I cannot fault them.

Nathan and Ryan ventilation team really quick and efficient cleaned up really happy with these guys

Sean and Mike have installed the internal insulation. I was really pleased that they were able to repair a crack that was hiding behind a radiator and was only apparent when the radiator was removed for this work.

Sean has been here today replacing shirting boards and window sills, which must have been a real challenge with our wonky walls and floors. He was very patient and cheerful and cleaned up beautifully.

The journey continues, quickly and efficient work from the plumbers Geoff, Gareth and Kian who flew through the house. The electricians Max and his apprentice weathered the down pours bravely while Liam sorted the fans with a breeze. The solar panels finally erected in more rain and wind. Very brave, thank you Luke and Luke.

Communication appears to be a challenge, it was always a mystery who would turn up, for what and when.

The professionals worked hard and well, thank you to the all.

The ASHP, has not worked with Grant investigating the last week. It would have been good to know that you don’t have and hot water for several days and no heating for much longer.

Will await the heating!!!!!

Carwen Jones and Tom Evans
Carwen and Tom came to Vicarage Cottage to do the wall insulation and plastering. I didn’t know what to expect but was soon put at my ease by Tom’s pleasant and courteous manner and Carwen’s calm courteous efficiency. They certainly know their craft and completed it all with as little disruption to me as possible, which wasn’t easy in my small cottage. I am very pleased with the result. They were also kind to my four legged best friend Ben. Thank you very much to the “dream team”. 👍 17 November to 1 December

Excellent job by Lewys & the boys. Quick and tidy. Highly recommended.

Thr electrical work was completed today and, despite some hitches along the way, the finished work is of a high standard. As with other trades on the project James and Liam were courteous and respectful and took time that we were happy with the work completed.

Absolutely gutted that Martin & Andrew are leaving 😢 They’ve been an absolute joy from the first minute we met them. The quality of their work is first class, they’re the tidiest tradesmen we’ve ever encountered, the house is tidier now than before they started. They’ve bent over backwards to accommodate all of our requests and they’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty time and time again. We’ve been unable to be around due to work but have felt completely comfortable allowing them the freedom of our house and felt safe knowing they’d be there when the kids got home from school to make sure they got home safely. Genuinely gutted they live so far away or else we’d be insistent they come back and do more work. Cheers lads 🙏

Nathan and Ryan from the ventilation team where very polite and helpful. Got their work done very tidy and efficiently. Gave me a detailed explanation of why and what their work was, to be carried out on their visit to my house. Thank you both for an excellent job

Seán the carpenter came to fix the damaged & loose floor boards. It was a real mess left by the electrician.
He did a brilliant job. Involved us at all times if there was a decision to be made. He was unfailing polite & helpful. He did a great job clearing up and left the place spotless.
It was great to get the job done as uneven flooring is quite a hazard and had been with us for 3 months.
Well done Seán
