Fantastic kitchen company! I started planning my kitchen with Smile quite a while back when I had plans for an extension (pre-build starting) so it’s been a long road for my designer Jon who has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. We have had many design consultations during this time, tweaks to the design and really great communication, planning and suggestions throughout. Kitchen is ordered and I’m very excited to see the end result. Would highly recommend using this company! They just make the process so much easier 🙂

We throughly enjoyed the professional, friendly service with our kitchen designer Corinne, assisting us on every stage of our kitchen project, the quality of product is second to none. I ordered my kitchen and utility from Smile in July and Nov 2025 as I had just bought a new house and was project managing an extension and renovating the entire home.

After lots of research on Smile Kitchens, everything seemed positive. My initial designer was Ian who was very friendly and helpful and came up with a great design for both rooms, however I sometimes found information I'd send via email (i.e room dimension/product choices) to be missed, having to go through info again during calls and occasionally forgetting to send out sample parcels. As I was managing an entire renovation, having to chase or repeat myself was a little frustrating.

You are given a two day delivery window, and a final day is confirmed a week before. When my utility was delivered in July 2025 Smile did not confirm a delivery date until I chased one evening after 5pm to be told the delivery was arriving the next day. I informed them I couldn't take in the delivery due to no notice given, I hadn't arranged for my builder to be on site (as I didn't live at the property), I also had work commitments. I chased Smile the next day at 9am via telephone. The information was ignored and the driver turned up at 10am, I made lots of frantic calls and luckily my builder sent someone to take in the delivery. There were missing items, and when they finally were replaced the items were damaged.

Customer care department is TERRIBLE, they do not acknowledge complaints (including the manager), you constantly have to chase via email or calls to get any response, even when sorting out product issues. I've also had responses from the team saying they "forgot to reply".
They will eventually sort product issues out, however as mentioned it takes a lot of chasing, for example... today I've had to chase because they've failed to respond to my product issue sent two weeks ago!

I got a new designer to finish off my kitchen due to previous frustrations. Tom was amazing and I can't fault him, he is detail oriented and made sure everything was perfect, even sorting out issues the Customer Care team should have.

The kitchen delivery was smoother and I was given notice. It was delivered and installed Nov 2024, however I had, and still have MANY issues. Multiple oak and plastic drawers were defective and skewed, there are hinge issues causing doors to rub and ruin bespoke painted doors. 6 months on I'm still having issues, 3 out 23 of my doors/drawers have become skewed, with the supplier saying this is due to humidity (one door being the integrated dishwasher). These three doors sit under a ventilated window too.

Multiple times the supplier has sent replacement parts, with no communication from Smile on delivery days so often they are left outside and sometimes in the rain as I haven't been made aware to be home.

I would never recommend Smile Kitchens to anyone, the quality of product is good, unfortunately the business has many faults and customer care is the worst I've ever experienced. I really regret buying my kitchen from Smile, and should have gone to a high street company where I've bought previous kitchens from.

If there were just one or two small issues I could put this down to bad luck, unfortunately I can't ignore the poor customer service and multiple product issues I've had.

Jane is the most lovely and skilled person to work with. Nothing is too much trouble and could translate all my ideas into something that works. Really enjoyed this process. Thank yoU!

My experience from beginning to end was above what I was expecting. The design process - we got the kitchen we actually wanted!! Even better than we thought we could achieve. We got the colour we wanted without it adding thousands to the cost. The delivery was great. The quality of the kitchen is excellent. We’re over the moon. Thank you!

Our designer Emma was absolutely brilliant in bringing our kitchen ideas to life! Really easy to talk to and understood our needs completely. You also don't need to pay until the delivery of the kitchen so that has worked out great for us to save up a little bit more. Getting the kitchen delivery date sorted and the logistics was a little difficult but apart from this I would highly recommend Smile Kitchens!

We've just placed our order with Smile after finishing the design process. Izzy our designer has been amazing! She's very knowledgeable and completely redesigned our kitchen layout to make the best use of the space. We're really happy with our kitchen design and the service from Smile and can't wait to see the design come to life. Thank you, Izzy!

I don't have a Smile kitchen, but I would trust them to create and deliver a great kitchen. I went through the planning process with Chloe, and valued all her knowledge and suggestions. I was grateful for her availability online, and felt confident Smile would deliver, as Chloe never tried to upsell or encourage me to buy something I didn't need.
In the end, I have gone with a small handmade company (I never thought this option would be available to me due to budget, this is the only reason I moved away from Smile), but that wasn't a reflection on Smile.
I liked that they can do custom colours, samples were sent via the post quickly, and the base colour range was quite broad and fun (not just green, navy, grey and cream!).
I had been particularly interested in the Fina and Jenson.
It's worthwhile finding people (none-influencers) on instagram and asking about their experience, as I found people gave real positive reviews of Smile.

I do think Smile would find it worthwhile to collab with some installers, and big brands to build confidence, as every builder/ installer/ plumber I spoke to (obviously not a lot) didn't know who Smile were.
Smile don't provide appliances, so some customers may decide that another brand is suited if they're replacing a whole kitchen and don't have time to also research independently 'white goods'. I was lucky that I actually didn't any, so this wouldn't have swayed me one way or another.

Highly recommend Smile Kitchens.

Firstly, the design process with Martyn was fantastic. Relaxed, with no sales pressure at all, Martyn showed real expertise in designing the best possible layout for our space and advising on all manner of product choices. He took our ideas and preferences on board and came up with several great options. He also had seemingly endless patience for tweaks and queries, and even redesigned the layout without any fuss when it turned out our extension's dimensions differed from the original plan. Once decided, the ordering process was easy, communication around delivery was good, and the kitchen was delivered undamaged and on the agreed day.

Secondly, the actual quality of the kitchen is fantastic. This was a bit of a worry with ordering online, not having seen the units in a showroom (even though Smile do send plenty of samples). However, the units actually surpassed our expectations, and are of significantly better quality than the high street big brand kitchen they replaced.

Thirdly, the aftercare has been fantastic. Vicky has been extremely responsive by email, and the few bits that turned out to not be quite right were replaced quickly and with zero fuss. Really refreshing to receive such good customer service.

Ultimately, we are delighted with our Smile Kitchen - it looks and feels fantastic, the layout is faultless and makes the best use of our space, and the service has been brilliant from start to finish. We would definitely use Smile again.

Huse is a fantastic designer. Very professional and patient. Fell in love with the kitchen he designed. Thank you for all of your time and effort. You made the process very easy and pleasant. Sadly I didn’t complete, as the company doesn’t offer 0% finance.

Jon was amazing helping design my new kitchen. He made sure to make the most out of the limited space we have, and managed to fit in all the appliances that I wanted. He was very diligent making sure that samples arrived on time, and that I was happy with the result, super accommodating with as many changes of mind that I had, including las minute additions. Cant wait to see my new kitchen !

Isabella was such a great designer, I really enjoyed the process and she helped with any questions I had. Would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service, really helpful consultant. Chloe was quick to respond and could accommodate requests quickly and easily. She was happy to adjust things and the zoom calls were convenient for us and flexible. Samples arrived with great packaging and just and all round great service.

I had a lovely consultation with Ms C. Mooney. She listened to my proposal and suggested logical solutions. At the same time as giving me time and options to think about. I never felt pushed into anything and if anything inspired by our conversation.

Izzy was really helpful throughout the design process, going through lots of variations and also trying to get us the best possible value for money.

Jane Thyeson is a wonderful person to speak to when setting out to plan your kitchen. Knowledgeable and quick to understand what you’re looking for. 100% recommend!
