Excellent service professional & friendly.

Have used Solitaire before a good while ago and they were excellent then, so it was an easy choice to call them this time ( in a different house) and they didn’t disappoint. Excellent.

I can thoroughly recommend Solitaire. They’ve just fixed my boiler in time for me to return from overseas to this freezing weather! Their engineers are very knowledgable, polite and efficient. They came when they said they would, once to assess and then to fix. . Costs were transparent and reasonable. Excellent service all round. Thank you.

We recently had a new boiler installed by Daniel of Solitaire Plumbing & Heating. The service we received was 1st class with Daniel being helpful, thoughtful, considerate, clean and tidy, and professional at all times.
I could not recommend Solitaire more highly.

I have had Solitair as my boiler servicing for the past two or three years and it made sense to me to use therm again to rectify a leak on my radiator TVR. As usual the engineer assigned to my job was on time, introduced himself and was polite, efficient and helpful throughout the time he was with me. He was a credit to a very reliable and local company for all my heating problems. I highly recommend them to others for simlar work.

Speedy professional service

In the run-up to Christmas a damp patch appeared below a header tank. Solitaire to the rescue. Problem sorted. I have come to rely on Solitaire. Thank you.

We have used Solitaire for a number of years now. Our annual boiler & hot water tank service, along with a replacement radiator, were all carried out professionally and efficiently. Both engineers were friendly, informative, polite and tidy. A very good service, would highly recommend.

I needed a new thermostat fitted and was recommended Solitaire via a FB post on my local page. I had a very positive experience from my call to get an estimate to Daniel attending to complete the work.

I booked Solitaire Group for a boiler service with a confirmed appointment window of 9am–12pm. I waited in all morning, but at 11:05am I was told the engineer would be delayed by 1–2 hours. I replied that if we were in then we were in, but I could not guarantee being home for another 1–2 hours after midday. Solitaire then cancelled the appointment themselves during the booked window, leaving me with no service after wasting a morning waiting.

The Director who corresponded with me also claimed there would be a “chargeable missed visit” if I wasn’t in later. However, I checked their published Terms & Conditions and there is no such clause — it appears to have been cited incorrectly.

While they eventually apologised and offered to rebook, no compensation was offered for the inconvenience. Based on this experience of poor timekeeping, cancellation within the appointment window, and misleading references to terms, I cannot recommend this company.

Additionally to the response from the company, it was never explained to me the situation of why there was a delay, this has clearly been added to the reply of this review to make it look like i am a heartless individual and not reasonable. Shocking to imply that! I received nothing but a generic email stating there is a delay and they will be 1-2 hours over the given slot.

I was also never given a diary generated email stating there could be a delay of 1-2 hours, as the date i gave originally could not be fulfilled and I was emailed by the Director separately & only notified of this at 11.05am the morning of the appointment.

Great response yet again from Solitaire, honest experienced advice and workmanship

Boiler serviced, radiators checked and cleared of air, water softener system checked and re-juvenated. Excellent work, sppedy and very ckean.

Spencer Gray and the apprentice Bobby arrived as arranged. Great care was taken in removing our old Gas Boiler and installing the new one. They were polite and helpful throughout the installation and throughly checked the system before leaving.
Their workmanship and attitude is a compliment to both them and the Company

Solitaire reviewed the whole of my home to advise if there were any issues around the heating and plumbing . Which they did and provided a suggested list of jobs and an estimate which I accepted.
They arrived on time and worked in a professional courteous friendly way consulting me at all times. Making suggestions and willingly accepting one or two extra jobs not on their list.
It was evident they knew exactly how to do their job and solve any problems that came along
When they finished they cleared and took away all their rubbish

My mum's shower was leaking recommend by loads of people on Facebook ,came out next day . Nick and the work experience lad come out and they were so professional really kind to my mum who has dementia. Recommend Solitaire to my friends and Neighbours as I was very impressed with the company,

Very helpful and friendly staff. Arrived on time for initial meeting and for installation. Installation completed expertly and with customer consultation on details of positioning of the units etc. Everything left clean and tidy.
