I would recommend Solitaire for a few reasons. They did a great job, were easy to communicate with, and they were able to schedule an appointment really quickly. They were also able to work around our schedule. They came across as really knowledgeable and competent-- and were really nice as well.

Solitaire were brilliant in installing a dishwasher in such a tiny kitchen where I didn't think it could be done! They took great care over the job and were helpful from beginning to end, incredibly tidy and communicated really clearly throughout. I'd highly recommend them in the future.

Engineer was helpful and efficient. Communication on the day about time of arrival was helpful.

We came back from holiday and had a problem with our heating. Solitaire were quick to respond to our call and had an engineer out within a couple of days (and they arrived when they said they would) and had the problem fixed quickly. We were very impressed and will continue to use them in future.

Timely arrival and speedy service procedure. Engineer automatically took off his boots without prompting. Work area was clean and tidy after completion. Information offered of additional work that may be needed in future re the Condense tank and an estimate was requested from the office which arrived very quickly. Polite and courteous engineer.

Would have been 5 stars but a slight issue at start. I spotted the company van outside my house and thought he’d been a longish time getting out with his tools so I went to enquire to find he was about to leave as he’d got no answer at front door. He was ringing at our neighbour’s! I phoned to check with Company office to ensure my correct address was in the records and it was, so a simple operator error but had I not been quick enough I have faced an abortive appointment.

After reporting a leak on my radiato to Solitaire heating company,
Old radiator out and new radiator in and all down within 48 hours.

I had to chase my original enquiry for which the company was apologetic. That done I got a visit to assess my faulty shower within a few days, followed by a quotation the same day and then the replacement unit installed within days. All seems well and I sense the work was professionally done.

Prompt efficient service, repair carried out with professionalism and care. The engineer was very polite and explained what the problem was and then resolved it with no issues at all. Couldn't have been better.

With no heating the lads at Solitaire sorted it, they found the fault straight away. A very friendly receptionist was very polite and arranged everything, she put my mind at ease as did the the lads who turned up.

We had a problem with our lighting. Initial survey was provided quickly and the advice given proved to be spot on. The work was carried out very efficiently by Sam, with clear explanations given throughout the process. Very happy.

Failure of hot water last night. Called Solitaire at 9am this morning. Problem fixed by midday.

Needed to Drain and remove existing hot water cylinder
Remove existing pump on hot water pipework and re-join the pipe
Supply and install 120l Gledhill unvented direct hot water cylinder
Supply and install Unvented hot water safety kit
Connect to existing immersion wiring/timer
Commission and register installation on a an urgent basis due to no hot water!!
Solitaire were there to assess job and all of the above work was completed by Spencer who worked non stop from 9am onwards!
Absolutely brilliant. The job was completed professionally, no mess and tank area was tidied and looks fantastic!

Solitaire have completed several jobs for me - moving a boiler, a full kitchen install, and moving and replacing radiators. I'll continue to use them as my 'go to' plumbing service, though the additional skills of electrics and carpentry are invaluable to save juggling various tradespeople. Installers are always polite, on time and communication is excellent. A highly trustworthy team.

This company is at the top of their game. The customer service is polite, swift acting and wonderfully efficient. First class installation team and superb after sales. Would recommend looking at this company before all others for plumbing, boiler installation and general central heating services be it whether you are local to Chelmsford or afar
