Almost a month after my payment

Almost a month after my payment. The product is in stock on the website. First, Sparesbox told me it was not in stock and cancelled the order. Then Sparesbox told me it was a pricing error. Then they told me that the product on could deliver half the order. Then, after all that nonsense, the product was on the website with a price increase.

Can the CEO of PLEASE CALL ME!!! I expect NO RESPONSE

The issue you faced was due to the discontinuation of a product by Nulon. Unfortunately, this product should not have been listed as available on our website. We recently launched a new website, and amidst this transition, there have been some challenges, including previously discontinued products erroneously reappearing on our site. This oversight led to the delay in communication and subsequent cancellation of part of your order.

Please know that we have already taken the required steps to rectify this issue. Your experience has highlighted areas where we need to improve, and we are grateful for this feedback.

Order from Sparesbox if you don't want to receive your stuff

Absolutely useless business. Made an order early in the month, hounded them 2 weeks later to hear that the items were 'fully reserved' (??? just send them then), a week after that, 1 of 6 items is shipped out on it's own, another delayed response that the rest is 'fully reserved' again but something has become backordered.

Almost 3 weeks on from the initial order and still barely any communication from them. Despite using multiple contact methods. They also will not answer the phone due to 'Covid'. Would not reccomend at all.

Extremely slow to dispatch. Very poor customer service

Would not go through them again. On their site they have parts listed as 5 day delivery (even when I had my location set to New Zealand). They took 10 days to dispatch the parts, and they have put my billing address down for delivery instead of my shipping address. This address is nowhere near where I need the parts delivered. It is now the 15th December and two packages were delivered (to the wrong address), and the third is nowhere to be seen. Support is abysmal.

Updated from 1 star to 3 as Sparesbox came through and refunded me for my order

OK service if you can wait for your parts

I have used this company for many years however in the last 12 months their delivery lead times have become excessively long.
Recently I placed an order which was only part delivered. (I'm still waiting for brake pads after 3 weeks!) I've followed up twice and always get a pleasant response but the ETA for my parts into their warehouse keeps moving.
In future I'm going to look elsewhere and pay a few more bucks to get my parts delivered promptly.

Orders arrive late and in seperate lots.
I’m still waiting on 1 item. I ordered my order 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t been fulfilled. Wouldn’t shop here if I was in a hurry.

Sparesbox took 6 days to prepare my…

Sparesbox took 6 days to prepare my item for shipment. Now I'll wait another 6 days for delivery.
Cyber weekend was planned, doesn't come out like a surprise. I don't think it is a good excuse for the delay.

Advertise & sells used parts as brand new

Bought 2 Bilstein shocks, one was fine but the other was clearly second-hand. Box was taped up and bushes completely missing and marks on shock itself. This was all noticed after vehicle was on hoist and old rooted shocks were removed. I then had to fit it anyway with old existing bushings just to get home from my mechanic. Contacted them and wanted it returned which clearly won't be happening as the costs of removing it and going without a car for two weeks isn't cost effective. ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY!

We have stringent quality assurance processes in place to ensure that such issues are rare. However, given that we cannot open and inspect every product before dispatch, there are instances where the quality of a product may not be fully known to us. Without the product being returned, our ability to investigate and understand what has occurred is limited.

I understand that you chose not to return the shock absorber and installed it due to the immediate need for your vehicle, which unfortunately means we're no longer able to accept it as a return, as we'd need for it to be returned in the condition that you received it. This is essential for us to quickly assess the product you received and once approved provide a refund or a replacement.

Their returns form does not work and so impossible to get money back for turned product

Not worth the aggravation

Dealing with Spares Box Customer "Service" is an absolute nightmare, as they are not interested in customer satisfaction, and do not reply to messages. Two weeks after online purchasing an item for delivery, I am out of pocket and do not have the item I needed. Spares Box could have solved this problem but chose not to. For a couple of bucks less, doing business with Spares Box is not worth the hassle.

Amazing Customer Service 5 Stars

I have purchased many items from Sparesbox over the years and had a great experience each and everytime. I recently purchased the wrong Fuel pump (completely my fault) and Noah from support helped me through the return process with amazing 5 star communication and no hassle at all. I will continue to very happily use Sparesbox for all my purchases in future where possible and i highly recommend using Sparesbox. 5 Stars for everything, FYI Get in contact with Sparesbox and give them your VIN number etc before purchasing/checkout so you get the correct items the first time.

They are obviously set up by someone…

They are obviously set up by someone savvy with online market, just no clue about business. I ordered an urgent part and they advised it would be within 7 days and 15 days later I was still chasing them and all they could provide was some motherhood bull crap. Order has been refunded but I would really avoid these guys as they obviously sell what they don't have.

Sold me a product they don’t have

Sold me a product they don’t have, been 3 weeks and contacted them about 5 times, keep getting told they are escalating the problem and someone will let me know, but no one does. Still no part, still no answer. Customer service is discussing. I wouldn’t recommend this company if it was the last place around. VERY BAD SERVICE!

Wong parts with no return

Wong parts sent, all accountability avoided by the seller Sparesbox to recify problem with various excuses. Would not take item back as they claimed they would before purchase. Outright dishonesty!

Shipping policy sucks

Shipping policy sucks, my home is 1km from castle hill but apparently it costs $5 more to go there. Makes online shopping not viable when you charge $14.90 to ship a circuit breaker to a Sydney suburb
