The parts I have purchased were at a great price and when worked out, were actually cheaper than supercheap, so for me was a no brainer. I cannot recommend sparesbox enough
System wrongly confirmed part fits car, support team suggested risky DIY
Bought a radiator through their rego lookup tool as it clearly said it would fit my manual Hyundai Veloster. Screenshot and all. Wrong part arrived: automatic version with completely different dimensions. Their support team suggested via email to just block some lines like it’s no big deal, ridiculously risky for something as important as a radiator.
No compensation for the wasted time on an urgent repair, just a refund that still leaves me doing the return run, sent them an invoice for the labour costs for the time I need to allocate taking it to AUSpost.
Frustrating, deceptive, misleading. Their system makes it seem reliable to pump sales, hoping that at least perhaps one in twenty individuals experiencing this specific scenario won’t do anything about it, that way they can farm an extra, say $20k a year? Only has to happen 56 times. Think about it, this place is a joke
definitely think twice before ordering car parts here, press and pressure them to be HONEST, can’t believe you’d even have to suggest that. One star.
Very dodgy business.. stay away
They just sell you something saying stocks available however will not send the parts until you cancel the order.. will keep your money for months.. very bad business.. stay away from them if you really want your parts..

Refund took 7 months
Super slow email response which was automatic response, once a week if I was lucky. Kept adding more steps to a refund process. Telling me that they had to send off the item back to superpro for inspection before refund. Which they didn't. They couldn't even be bothered to send me a postal ticket to send back the item. Giving me some excuses why resulting in me having to do it. After item was sent I had to constantly follow up, none of my question where answered. I had to deal with so many dirty little delay tactics. Finally got the refund but still trying to get reimbursed for the shipping.
Terrible service
Sent half my order labelled parcel 1 of 1.
No explanation, no reply to 4 emails over 8 days.
Reported fraud to my bank and requested refund.

Have emailed start of the day and its 2:15pm still no response.
Beyond frustrating as ive booked my mechanic for next week to do the servicing after hours. Now im not sure the parts even will arrive
**update as of 2:48pm** had an email sent via Matthew, Apoligies for delay and the order was held up in due to anti fraud or along those lines.. manually confirmed and getting sorted.

Ordered 4 coilpacks, was confirmed and told thirteen business days until delivery. Heard absolutely nothing for three weeks despite emails to them. Finally get a response that the item was not in stocks and hadn't even been ordered yet. Total waste of my time and pretty dodgy business practices

Ordered brake rotors in May (Order #2589496-SB) and received only 1/3 of my order on 18 May with no explanation. The remaining 2/3 has not shipped and there is no tracking for the missing items. I have sent 3 emails over 10 days with zero response, despite the website promising 1-2 business day reply times. Attempted contact via social media also with no response. Filing a chargeback and complaints with Fair Trading and the ACCC on 5 June if unresolved. Would not recommend.

Ordered a front brake kit, they sent rears. The order clearly states front brake kit. We are in the second week of a vehicle being off road due to their failure to pick and send the correct parts.
DO NOT BUY vehicle specific items from Spares Box. Their warehousing staff obviously cannot read very well.
This is the second time we have received incorrect parts.
It has taken over a week to get a response to a simple email.

I spent extra getting spark plugs from sparesbox rather than off ebay from China. Because I thought, as a Aussie company, they would have stock and I would get it quicker. But they just pocketed the extra and bought them from china. It took AGES! yes this is a DROPSHIPPING store.

Most impressed with Sparesbox customer service. Have purchased parts from them several times in the past couple of years. A minor problem occurred with the last order that was partially my fault and was promptly sorted out by their staff. Will continue to buy from and recommend Sparesbox.

Very poor - they say they have it in stock and then dont and then string you along when you chase them up - 'your item has been reserved for you and will be sent ASAP', two different staff said the same line and three weeks later no delivery!
BETTER SHOP ELSEWHERE TO SAVE DISAPPOINTMENT
Repeatedly advertised items as “in stock” but shipped late or not at all. Multiple orders delayed — one took over 6 weeks and only moved after I repeatedly contacted customer service, who gave vague apologies and no reliable solution. Poor inventory management and communication; I don’t recommend this store.

ZERO STARS don’t be in a hurry or expect delivery, they have ZERO STOCKS, ZERO CARE/SERVICE. They do advertise the lowest price but if they cannot make a profit at that price they will hold YOUR MONEY and eventually refund. DISGUSTING BUSINESS MODEL. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered a clutch reservoir, the lid is way too big for the reservoir and the lid doesn’t even have thread. What am I supposed to do with this “complete replacement”

Poor Communication
ordered parts in stock not a single update till 7 days later after 3 enquiries i finally got a response that stated the parts that are in stock on their website were actually on back order with an 8+ day lead time. Do not order from them if you are in a hurry or need anything in a suitable time frame.
I have two vehicles in my garage and nothing in the store suits either.
I have two vehicles in my garage and when I try to search for items for either vehicle every item I look at it tells me it doe not suit my vehicle, in fact nothing in their store suits my vehicles.
I messaged them and explained whats happening and I got a reponse back asking for all the details of my vehicles including the VIN number, WTF, why do they need VINs.
Anyway, it turns out other shops are easier to do business with, they want my money and have been a customer for a few years.
