My experience seems to be at odds to everyone else. I have had email contact with two people both of whom have never got back to me despite sending them all the information they required.I can only assume I am not their target market but it would be nice if they said so. Zero scores for communication.

Everything from start to finish was great with Spirit Energy. I have written a longer review on google maps for anyone interested but for this purpose I will say that I had 2 batteries and 9 solar panel fitted on a west facing roof in March 26. We went with SigEnergy rather than Tesla as I am definitely not wanting to contribute to Musk's wealth. I really recommend the team at Spirit Energy. they designed and installed a system that was perfect for our needs and it so far, for 5 months has worked perfectly and I just love seeing myself making money on my electricity rather than spending shocking amounts!
Spirit Energy take their customer needs seriously and design properly. Their on-site visit was comprehensive, the installation team were super efficient. We only had scaffolding up for less than 5 days.
My experience with them has been fantastic. Fully recommend them. Professional, experienced and trustworthy.

Spirit Energy delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish on our Solar and Powerwall 3 installation. The quality of the system is excellent, but what truly made the project stand out was the communication and support throughout.

His updates were always clear, timely, and proactive, and he made every stage of the process feel smooth and well organised. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail gave us complete confidence from day one.

The installation team were professional, tidy, and clearly experts in their field. The system is performing brilliantly, and we’re delighted with the result.

Spirit Energy installed solar panels and Sigenergy battery storage for me 3 weeks ago (in the Summer). I found them to be highly professional throughout and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
The sales process was informative and not pushy. I had researched carefully beforehand, and Archie was willing and able to engage at a technical level. I am very pleased I have panels on both my SW and NE facing roofs; so far they nicely balance each other at diffferent times of the day. Archie's battery specification has proved spot on.
Justin visited to do the technical survey and we made some minor changes concerning future-proofing. He decided cable routing and confirmed the battery could go into the separate garage.
Peace project managed and was on top of all the background steps, many of which I suspect I was unaware. The scaffolders and Spirit's own panel installation teams were pleasant and took a lot of care. It wasn't always easy, but they left everything tidy and the install looks good with the sola skirt.
Brandon did the electrical work well and engaged with my technical questions. He also took trouble to make sure the external appearance of cable runs was neat and tidy.
Finally all the paperwork arrived so I can see it is all official with the DNO and MCS.
Things to watch out for - make sure Spirit explain the difference between the DNOs import and export limits, especially if you are using exports to justify costs.

Strongly recommend... Working with Jon for installation was very easy and he and the team were very flexible to adjust to our availability and requirements.

Good service and explained all well but unfortunately for our property the solution was too complex and at higher cost to what we have budgeted and cost higher to other lical companies

They were so friendly efficient and did a great job of making the panels look great, in a lovely central position on the roof.

Spirit Energy is a very professional organisation. The whole process of battery and solar panel selection, installation and commissioning smooth and easy.

All departments are professional, knowledgable and accommodating, while this is not uncommon and what makes this company excellent is the proactive project management and proactive communications.

I have always been fascinated by renewable energy due to lower running costs and reduced carbon footprint.

So when I finally moved into my own house, I immediately did some research into it.

I watched a YouTube video by the Technical Designer Tok from Spirit Energy about this, which was well presented and informative and this really interested me.

I decided to get a quote from Spirit as it is a local, long established and experienced company. Whilst I did talk to more than one installer, once I had spoken to Spirit, I did not want to consider anyone else. 

I was very impressed with the Head of Residential Nathan, who took on my enquiry and who also undertook the site survey. This was due to his professionalism and passion, especially as he has got a relevant qualification.

Spirit finally recommended 10 LONGi 490W mono black solar panels with a bird mesh and a Tesla Powerwall 3 and Tesla Backup Gateway 2 battery storage system, which was state of the art at the time of ordering in September 2025. This also included it being wired in such a way to allow the option of expanding the system in the future.

They seamlessly navigated Payback Period guesswork given that I had only lived in my newly renovated property for just over one month.

Spirit also managed to successfully overcome the challenge of using out of date internet satellite images and road footage for their estimate.

They even did a Net Present Value calculation and recommended Octopus Flux to me!

The Spirit technical and structural survey undertaken by the Senior Electrician Simon was very comprehensive and he was very punctual and knowledgeable.

The Project Manager Dimitrios was very well organised and gave an excellent First Class customer service, keeping me promptly updated about my order at all times. 

The DNO approval for the full requested 11.04kW generation and 11.04kW export limit was swiftly offered, no doubt because I was only the third out of 27 houses on my 1960s street to install solar panels. 

Spirit also permitted me to change the colour of the solar panels to all black the week before the installation, as they were the most up to date. I am so glad they did - they look fabulous!

To be quite honest I was completely shocked at the installation team of the Roofers Jozsef and Rob and the Electricians Dan and Brandon in March 2026. They turned up 23 minutes early (at 7:37am) and finished way ahead of schedule. The tradesmen were very polite, enthusiastic and efficient. There was great care and attention to detail with the handling of the equipment and the electrical cables, including putting the trunking on neatly and making the Earth Rod cabling obscure, and they even tidied up after themselves. Being direct employees of Spirit meant they could no doubt have higher quality control standards. I am extremely pleased with the result. In fact, I would say my property looks better with solar panels on it and so far the system has been very good.

The scaffolding subcontractor JCR Scaffolding was outstanding. The scaffolding could not have been up for a shorter period of time, much to the delight of my neighbours.

The issuing of the Handover Pack with all the relevant documents was given in a timely manner. Spirit’s time management is exemplary.

I was also very happy with the Financial Assistant Fig, as he was very formal in his communication.

Spirit genuinely takes great pride in its work, because two months later the Head of Customer Experience Ronnie got in touch to ask whether everything was working as expected, which it was not as it exceeded my expectations.

Overall, Spirit went above and beyond to maximise the return from my roof space and give me the best possible value for money, to ensure I received the most beneficial long term financial investment.

Spirit is the Rolls-Royce of solar panels and battery storage installers, and Spirit’s name certainly befits Rolls-Royce’s emblem. I was taken aback and astonished at how good Spirit is and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. If there was such a rating as a Six Star Review, I would give them that instead, which is something I have never said before.

*On a separate note, I was very pleased to hear that the Nike Group of Companies is also using Spirit to install solar panels on their former ski slope site in Bracknell.

Putting solar panels on commercial sites would create a substantial amount of renewable energy, reducing operating costs with a significant contribution to Net Zero targets, in this case benefitting not only the Coppid Beech Hotel, but also the whole area.

I cannot recommend Nathan highly enough. He is absolutely exceptional, incredibly well-informed, articulate and patient - a real superstar. The chaps who installed the panels were polite, quick and had a really "solutions-focussed" energy. I'd also like to say a special thank you to Natasha, our project manager, and Simon, our electrician, who I would strongly recommend working with. Overall, I'm very pleased. I contacted several providers but no one was a patch on Spirit in terms of design and responsiveness. I have also used the after-service and am pleased to say that has also been very positive.

I engaged Spirit Energy to install solar panels with a battery and EV charger. They were highly professional and a pleasure to deal with at every stage from initial specification through to installation and commissioning. There was a two-month delay after the solar panels and battery were installed before the EV charger could be installed, but that was only because the DNO G99 authorisation took it's time to come through. I would hightly recommend them if you want solar panels.

I recently had to contact the Spirit support team regarding 'gaining proof' of ownership of my Tesla / Solar panel installation. 4 years on Peace (a project manager) was able to supply me sufficient proof of installation to enable me to change electricity provider from Octopus energy to UW. Thank you Peace.

Very happy with the service from this company from initial contact with Nathan to the job competition. Team were fantastic, worked hard, tidy and professional. Ryan and team were great.

Great advice and attention to detail.

From initial contact, through planning and completion of a solar and battery system in Worcester, Archie and Rachel proved very professional, approachable, efficient and thoughtful. The whole process was seamless, installed on the agreed date and price was much cheaper than a regional competitor.

We used a national energy supplier on another property and was not impressed at all with their customer service. This national supplier seemed just to try to throw cash to try to bribe the customer rather than address the problems. It took them over four months to send out the MCS certification – Rachel supplied it within five working days.

So happy with the service, I have now ordered another installation from Spirit Energy which will be fitted in less than eight weeks.

Excellent choice for renewables.

Professional and easy to work with from initial enquiry through design, scaffolding, panel installation, invera and battery installation and connection to existing system

I had a solar system fitted by spirit energy approximately 4 years ago to my industrial building, the inverter stopped working so I called spirit energy out to look at the issue, to cut to the chase I was informed by them that the installation of the panels had caused the problem, they were responsible of the entire installation! Was then told the warranty on there installation was only 2 years so I would have to pay for a new inverter and for them to rectify there shoddy installation!
