Can't recommend Spirit Energy highly enough. from learning about solar energy and installations through their YouTube videos, the understanding of our needs, helping us to get to the right system and then managing the installation through to the comprehensive handover pack, the level of support and professionalism has been outstanding. I would like to thank James, Dimitrios, Ari, Simon, Eddy and Ryan for making it all so easy - you are a great team!

I have only just had my system commissioned [23 solar panels and Tesla battery), so cannot rate the system in detail yet as its all new technology that I will have to learn about and live with. However, in terms of the professionalism, service, attention to detail and advice from the engineers who actually installed & commissioned the system; I have to thank Klemens and Eddy who represented Spirit Energy (the office could/should have been more pro-active, supportive and forthcoming about scheduling and providing information about the technology and my contract).

My EV charger stopped working after a power cut and Spirit Energy responded very efficiently to my phone call arranging an engineer to call round in the next few days. He fixed the problem very quickly and all has been well since. Full marks!

I had a problem with a PowerWall that had been previously installed. The team at Spirit Energy ran with the issue, liaising with Tesla, sourcing a replacement unit and getting it all installed at a time that was convenient with me. Great to have a professional team helping you through some of the complexities of the energy world.

I had a Tesla battery installed by Spirit back in August 2022 (which went smoothly) and recently needed some assistance with the operation of the battery for night charging as I'd changed electricity supplier. When I got to the technical side of the business they helped change some settings remotely to get the charging as I wanted, which is greatly appreciated. This company is professional and doesn't forget you, even after all installation bills are settled. This is customer service that means something and I'd like to shout out to Galad who was my point of contact for this work.

We couldn't be more delighted with the solar system Spirit Energy have installed at our house and how the installation has gone. From very first contact with Spirit's sales team, through to the system finally being handed over, the company has been a pleasure to work with.
Within days of us making first contact with the company, Archie, from Spirit's Technical Sales team came to our house to carry out an initial survey and suggest what kind of system would work best for us. The sales process was highly professional and included the production of a detailed quote, including estimated cost savings we could expect to make and how long the system would take to pay for itself.
The initial visit by Archie was followed up by a more detailed technical survey by Justin, Spirit's Head of Installations. Throughout the sales process, we always felt entirely confident that Spirit were experts in their field and were making the best possible recommendations.
We ended up agreeing to buy a 40 panel system with two Tesla Powerwall 3s and a myenergi Zappi EV charger.
The entire installation was overseen by Peace, Spirit's Project Manager, who did a great job of keeping us in touch with what the next steps were and when they would be happening. She was also our first point of contact for any questions or concerns.
Without exception, everyone in the team who carried out the installation did a great job in quite difficult weather conditions and were a pleasure to have at our house.
Now that the system is live, it's very satisfying to see that even though we’re in the depths of autumn/winter, the system is already producing and offsetting enough energy to make us almost fully independent of the grid. We can’t wait to see how it performs in the summer, if it’s this good already!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile. The team members that attended my house were polite and proficient and their workmanship was to the highest standards leaving an installation that was neat and tidy. Even after completion of the project they have continued to provide assistance with administrative matters such as applying to sell energy back to the grid.

Arrived promptly at 8 and worked really hard throughout the day. The crew were really helpful and communicated clearly with us throughout the day. The roofers did a fab job with the solar panels as we have a difficult roof layout and even cleared the gutters afterwards. The electricians were also really helpful in placing the equipment where we wanted it and putting cables in difficult areas to the point that one of my neighbours who had had a similar installation was impressed by the quality and detail Spirit had gone to compared to his installation. Very happy customer. Thank you.

Brilliant well organised local Solar experts.Highly focussed on their specialist subject. Their main point of difference is that all the team work for the company so no sub contractors which results in everyone knowing their tasks and implementation is done with perfection. Pricewise very competitive vs the big boy competitors. Spirit are long established in this area and that gives confidence going forward that any future issues will be handled properly though I don’t anticipate any. Neat job with 14 panels, solar skirt and PW3. Everything appears to be have been completed to a very high standard. Would thoroughly recommend.

My experience with Spirit Energy has been excellent from start to finish. The installation is very neat especially the panels on the roof. I would highly recommend Spirit Energy.

I recently used Spirit Energy for a 23 panel installation with Tesla PW3 and Wall Charger. I researched this to death before going ahead and Spirit are probably one of the top companies in the country. They weren't the cheapest quote I had, but the 'premium' I paid was about 3% of the cost of the project over some of the other quotes. For me, and for products like these, it was worth it for the peace of mind and confidence they will likely still be in business and willing to assist if there are ever any issues.

My installation wasn't typical in that they fitted me in early due to a cancellation. So it wasn't a case of everyone turning up and it all being done on consecutive days. But I was grateful for this as the end result was that I was up and running and generating sooner than if I'd had to wait for my 'slot'. And communication was good throughout.

Overall, I'd highly recommend. The system works perfectly and all the staff were polite and helpful during the installation.

I was recommended Spirit Energy by a relative who had a great experience with them, and although I ultimately decided to go with a local installer for my project, Spirit was a very close second choice.

From the very start, Archie and the team were exemplary, responding promptly, professionally, and genuinely interested in understanding my needs and requirements. They took the time to provide detailed information, explain options clearly, and give thoughtful advice tailored to my situation. What really stood out to me was that they even gave me reassurance that the system I eventually chose with a local company was a good fit for my needs, which I think demonstrates their professionalism and integrity in not trying to push me otherwise.

High quality installation followed a useful and informative quotation pack. All contact with Spirit was helpful, and those attending site were knowledgeable and got on with the job. Would definitely recommend this local supplier to friends

I wanted my solar installation to maximise the generation capacity of the south and west-facing roof aspects whilst avoiding unsightly arrangement of the panels. Protection from grid outages was a key requirement. Of the companies I contacted, one suggested only 12 panels would fit on the available space. Even I could tell that was a serious underestimate. Another company stated that 20 panels would be fine. That seemed over optimistic - but fitted in with my 'maximise generation' wish. Both those designs were carried out virtually. Spirit Energy's proposal was backed up by an on-site visit. The subsequent design and quotation, though a little more expensive than others, seemed to me to be by far the most realistic and comprehensive.
The stages of installation are covered well on Spirit Energy's very informative You-Tube feed so I won't repeat them here. But I recommend you have a look for yourself. Since commissioning, the system of 17 panels has generated power well beyond my expectations. Very pleased indeed.
I recognise all the positive comments of other 5* reviews regarding the installation process itself. The professionalism, skill and pride in the work of everyone who played a part was impressive. If you are considering solar panels, etc, for your own home, you really should give serious thought to using Spirit Energy. In my experience, you can trust them to listen to your requirements, properly advise on potential options, and carry out your chosen installation to the best of their ability.

It is rare today to find a true 5* company but Spirit Energy live up to this accolade. I first asked for a quote when I realised I was using their website and videos to help explain other companies claims and quotes; solar can be a bemusing overload of new terms, claims and counterclaims but Spirit Energy said it plain, and compared products rather than big-ing up one in particular. I therefore was surprised I hadn’t actually asked them for a quote even though they were a local company! From start to finish I cannot fault their service and knowledge, they offered solid performing products with good warranties, matching workmanship warranties and handled everything quickly and efficiently. The quote was bang in the middle, not the cheapest not the most expensive but the best for the good-looking quality Aiko brand panels and high end Tesla battery. The survey was a double check and the installation date was booked. The scaffold guys came a few days before and within a few hours had erected half a house, they were polite and showed respect for my property. Then followed the installation crew, wow, they worked like an oiled machine. The banged around a bit, going in the loft, up the scaffold and working on the electrics…I kept the kettle on and biscuits flowing. Then they set up my app on my phone and said all done! “Can’t be”, I said, it was so quick and without a fuss, I even went to check they’d actually put the panels on the roof, yep perfect, 16 panels and a Tesla battery all up and functioning in less than a day. When they left the only sign a crew of men had swarmed over my roof and house was a couple of zip ties on the patio. By the weekend the scaffolding had come down just as it had gone up. Spirit Energy even have made it sunny since February…it’s now June, what a service, …even with a northeast facing roof I have only used 3KWh grid electricity, the rest has been solar and the battery. They were even happy to help me a month or so after installation (once my smart meter was installed), to suss out the tariffs and set my app to start selling back excess solar to the grid. I highly recommend Spirit Energy as company.

Our experience with Spirit Energy was excellent from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. A special mention to Tok, our technical design specialist, who was patient, thoughtful, and always responsive. He really took the time to understand our requirements and was respectful of our needs throughout the process. Tok explained everything clearly and made what could have been a complex journey feel smooth and well-supported. We really appreciated the level of care and attention to detail.

What an amazing company, I used them over ten years ago for an installation and needed their support in reissuing a certificate and it was done within hours. When I had a second system installed, for personal reasons I used another company and that was the biggest mistake I could ever make.

Excellent, very happy with the installation of Aiko panels with associated Enphase microinverters and a Tesla Powerwall 3.

From the initial review and discussions with Nathan through to the survey by Justin and the installation by Ben, Jozef, Klem and Dan, managed by Peace, the work undertaken was of the expected high standard. Late customer changes were competently managed by Peace without affecting overall schedule. Some issues identified during commissioning were equally competently managed and resolved in a timely manner by Peace and Ryan.

Another mention must go to the scaffolders. Blue Scaffolding, based in Reading, were efficient and courteous during the installation, paying attention to the restrictions defined during the survey. The subsequent removal of the scaffolding was completed on schedule. Such a difference to some other scaffolding companies we have experienced.

Overall, we highly recommend Spirit Solar in terms of competitive pricing, attention to detail and work of a high quality.

We recently contacted Spirit Energy for a quote for a solar and battery installation. Tok did the assessment and design and although we ended up going with a different supplier we were very impressed with the spirit energy offer. They were quick and detailed and took into consideration all we said about our property and needs and their resources, especially their YouTube video, were really easy to understand and accessible.
