Lack of variety
Lack of variety, it seems you were clearing out a warehouse. Bottles were dirty, several were missing labels and several were missing the foil capsule.

Hello James,
We are truly sorry to hear about your experience with your recent shipment, from the lack of variety to receiving bottles that arrived dirty, missing labels, and without foil capsules!
We fully acknowledge how deeply disappointing and concerning it is to unbox an order expecting a fresh, diverse collection, only to feel as though you received warehouse clearance stock. Receiving bottles with dirty exteriors or missing labels completely ruins the unboxing experience and understandably lowers your confidence in what should be a high-quality delivery.
Please be reassured that presentation and bottle quality are very important to us, and we want to clarify a few details:
Missing Foil Capsules: It is a common misconception that foil caps act as the seal for a bottle. In reality, capsules are purely aesthetic, and many modern wineries are choosing to forgo them to reduce environmental waste. The cork itself provides the complete seal, so the quality and safety of the wine inside remain 100% intact.
Build Your Own Case: If you want total control over the variety in your box, our Build Your Own Case feature on our website allows you to handpick every single bottle to ensure zero duplicates and exact selection.
However, dirty bottles and missing labels fall far short of the presentation standards we aim to deliver. We would love the opportunity to look into this shipment with you directly. Please feel free to reach out to our team by calling 844-444-9311 or sending an email to customerservice@splashwines.com. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us!
Warm regards,
The Splash Wines Team

Hello Thomas,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that the first four bottles you opened fell so far below your expectations, leaving you hesitant to open the rest of your case!
We fully acknowledge how disappointing and frustrating it is to unbox a new order expecting great wine, only to encounter multiple bottles in a row that miss the mark. Having several disappointing experiences in a row completely ruins what should be an enjoyable tasting experience and understandably makes you wary of opening the remaining bottles.
Please be reassured that wine quality and your satisfaction are top priorities for us, and hearing that four bottles failed to meet your standards is something we take very seriously. We would love to learn more about your experience so we can better understand what went wrong with these specific selections.
We kindly invite you to reach out to our customer support team to share more details about your experience—such as which specific wines you opened and what missed the mark for your palate. Please feel free to give us a call at 844-444-9311 or send an email to customerservice@splashwines.com at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you directly!
Warm regards,
The Splash Wines Team

Some wines are very good but others are not very good, for example from my last order I opened a bottle of Centelleo a red field blend. I could not drink it as it was very bad. I buy from splash on a regular basis and would like better quality wines.
