I bought a trifocal and I still can't read and then the person that I talked to from customer service wants to argue and my sunglasses were like cook bottles and we paid for the skinny glasses and they're arguing with us about that. But then, again, when I was in the wait room and they were doing all this, the two people waiting on us did not even know what the proper way to charge or anything else, so you buy cheap glasses. And that's what you get

The girl that assisted us was extremely nice and helpful.

We received our glasses sooner than the date she gave us.

The first visit wasn't good. Daughter hadn't been activated on my insurance so we thought the $75 for two pairs sounded great. The person helping us was weirdly pushy and it didn't seem like she was going to give my daughter an exam past the machines in the inner lobby. Then the telehealth vision test where they choose potential lenses went poorly. My daughter never got the whole row of letters correct and they kept going. She got fewer right, so she obvious to me, could not make out the letters. she reads well so that's not the problem. about a minute before the test ended the telehealth doctor said "hmmm that's weird" or "that's strange" about her not getting any letters right for a bunch of slides. I brought it up but the lady in the store said that's not an issue, but the exam showed my daughter had an astigmatism. I'm not sure I believe that honestly. That allowed her to upsell the $75 for two pairs of glasses to ONE pair for $375. I asked why and she was insistent the lenses were special. They should be in in 7 days. Ugh. Okay. Left, checked in about a week later (8-9 days) and the glasses were not ready. Waited another week, not ready. Another few days, they'll be here next week. Ugh. Glasses arrive. My daughter couldn't adjust to the prescription. She doesn't wear them. We want to return to redo the exam. We get covid and the flu so weeks pass. Talked to two people who said we couldn't do the exam or return the glasses. Called again and got the manager, and he said come in and we'll work with you. Got there and the lady who helped us was all but refusing to redo the glasses. She sat my daughter at the machines in the inner lobby and ran those tests which came back the same as before. Was saying she didn't need to redo the lens test with the telehealth person. I was nice and just asked that we leave with a pair of glasses that my daughter could see out of. It took about 45 minutes of me just repeating that she just needs glasses that work and $375 is a lot to lose with something she can't use. Finally we got a redo of the lens test. This one went way better. Daughter was able to see all the letters in all the slides. Phew. Left the exam and it was still hard to get the lady to help. She went to the back. Finally another NICE lady came out and helped us and said we can redo the lenses and they'll be here in a week. Awesome. They took about 3 or so weeks to come in, but these ones work. I'll never go back.

I was able to reorder on the phone get my glasses week and a half later totally satisfy

Great customer service

Unprofessional and Inexperienced staff! Worst eye exam ever! Prescription not right and my insurance was charged anyway. Staff rude and inconsiderate. Will definitely let others know. Will not recommend this place ever!!

I'm still waiting to be called that the frames are in. Sadly, that has yet to happen. Guess I shouldn't be holding my breath. And the date of experience, on this review, showing that I was there on 17 March 2026, I wasn't there. No one called me, so how was I there?

I expected an optometrist but got someone on a screen, I could barely understand. One of the two pairs of glasses was so badly made I had to get another pair. They did make another pair without a qualm.

Everyone was so nice and made me feel welcome. The answered all my question, and helped me pick out 2 pairs of glasses. I got trail pair of contacts to ensure they would work for me.

i was quoted 200 for contacts and then when i went in person the contacts were 350 . i was asking the woman helping me to break down the cost and i didn't understand. the glasses choices are ugly. i should have gone to americas best. i had a budget of 300 and i could not afford the contacts and so i had to pay for the prescription even though i bought my glasses there. i will never go back to staton optical again *** also i went to that specific location because they made me believe that the glasses would be made there. when i was asking the lady she kept telling me * if * we have the lenses, i had to kindly ask her to check if they had lenses so i can find out if they will be made there. i will not recommend this place to anyone i will tell them its awful there. i wish i could've gotten a refund

They took almost 3 weeks to have my glasses ready. I got the notification that my glasses were ready I went and told me that they were still working on them to come back tomorrow. Counting that I’m not from town i have to drive 1 hr to get there just to tell me they were not ready come next day and still next day told me that they were not ready so I told them that I would like to talk to the manager and that’s when they started working on them still waited 1hr for them.
