Power to the People
Sheila and Steve were super helpful with regard to our 1st purchase of a piece of art (online) which was very significant to us (Power to the People). Steve always took our calls while Sheila was very personable, reassuring and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know about 'Art'. I would highly recommend Startle Gallery and feel like I know both Sheila and Steve even though I've never met either of them. One day we'll make it to the gallery :-)

John Dory - Giles Ward
I when to Startle gallery earlier in the year as they had an exhibition of an artist, Giles Ward, who's work I admired. Sheila was welcoming and very helpful. Explaining that the artist was happy to personalise a painting if we wished to place a commission.
Later in the year Shelia contacted us again to let us know that the artist would be in the gallery and would we like to meet him.
What a great experience, discussing with the artist how he worked and the thought process behind each painting.
We placed a commission (first ever!) and now have a wonderful John Dory with a very personalised background.
It was a real pleasure working with Shelia at Startle Gallery and now have a painting that makes me smile every day.

Great little gallery, very welcoming, interesting art.
We and the dogs made very welcome by Sheila. Some very interesting pieces (loved "Breakfast at Tiffany's" but nowhere to put it). We fell in love with a Nao McDowell painting and said we would think about it. Came back 10 minutes later to buy it, just before someone else did exactly the same! Delivered to us in Wales by Simon the gallery owner.
