Terrible shopping experience...

I am an oversea LFC fan and had three purchase at LFC Official store; in the first two purchase, I bought two jerseys with customized name-set , and both of the player's name-set on the jerseys just peeled off right after first wash (using gentle washing mode by the washing machine ) I also had other football jerseys with customized name-sets which buying from other stores and knowing the name-set definitely can last much better if it's ironed properly. Then there is the third order which I just received today, the order includes a mug with metal club crest on it. You know what? I found out the brink of the metal crest seems not glued well and is stick outward which may hurt your hand when you are washing, even worse, the painting of the mug is uneven(like a droplet) at the upper part of the mug.Wow, two defects in one product, just wow; I got a feeling that store worker just don't give a __ and totally ignore any faulty item when they were packing.
I don't want to be dramatic but I come out with a assumption that they may know you are international buyer and you won't return it, because the returning delivery fee cost way too much, also it's not worth wasting your time on doing so. After all these bad shopping memories, I think I will not consider buying anything from the official store in the future, truly disappointing.

Ordered a jersey with a premier league…

Ordered a jersey with a premier league badge and a lfc golf club cover. I had paid £7.50 for returns and they have sent parcel back to me, I contacted the store and they cannot refund me for the jersey with the badge because it is classed as personalised, this is a joke as they could definitely sell this on. They have told me that I have to return the golf cover to a completely different address now because I didn’t order from the store and I will have pad £15 to return this order when the golf cover only cost £20 no point in me returning it as I will have lost all the money anyway.. literally will never order off this website again. Things are not made clear when purchasing and I’ve never ever had this much bother returning anything in my life.

These terrible reviews are not an accident. Be ware, size/fit descriptions are inaccurate for the 2022-23 shirts at least. They are aware of their error but won't accept returns anyway. They don't care because their business model revolves around releasing gear a few weeks before others.

Unless you want to risk being stuck with an expensive purchase that doesn't fit you, buy your LFC gear literally anywhere else but the LFC Store.

Thomas “Customer Service Advisor”

Customer service attitude stinks! I ordered the new 22/23 home kit personalised for my sons birthday (and the away kit at a cost of over £260!!). My complaint was the head hole is ridiculously small… 6cm wide. This is an older boys medium shirt with the recommended age of 10-12, and I bought for my sons 10 birthday. My son is average height and a little of the skinny side so there is no reason why this shirt shouldn’t fit so it must be faulty. My 5 year old cannot even get it over his head! As a comparison the new away shirt fits fine! I complained to customer service and sent in images displaying the Nike price tag was actually the length as the width of the neck.
As I received no response to my email so I contacted live chat and connected to “Thomas”. As a customer service representative you would expect the member of staff to be helpful, courteous, have good communication… I could go on. Turns out Thomas lacked all of these skills. I was told that I had to return the shirt at a cost to myself and it’s likely I will just get the shirt sent straight back anyway if there’s nothing wrong with it. There are no imperfections that are obvious, so unless they compare it to another shirt or have other 10 year olds hanging around to try out the shirt. I explained to Thomas this shirt was my sons birthday present, he is desperate to wear it and we go on holiday next week and he wanted to take it with him. Surprisingly Thomas didn’t give a toss! I said I would drive 50 mile round to the Liverpool store if they could exchange it for me, they can also compare it to another of the same size but he just wasn’t prepared to help in anyway and then he cut the chat. I’m absolutely furious… these products cost a ridiculous amount of money it’s not too much to expect them to fit, nor is it too much to expect a customer service representative to do his job. So shame on you Thomas I have a very upset child who cannot wear his birthday present!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE, they are fraudulent

Purchased a jersey for Sadio mane. They sent me the wrong size and the jersey did not have the name or number on it. They didn’t want me to return it but I demanded a full refund or exchange. They didn’t want to exchange so they scheduled a pickup from DHL. It’s been 6 months and they have not refunded me. Every time you reply to support you get a different rep who acts like they have no idea what you’re talking about. THIS IS A FRAUDULENT WEBSITE AND COMPANY.

SHOCKING DELIVERY

The online store is as expected however the delivery service they use is useless. I will not buy from them online again until they stop using EVRI. Several chat sessions in and still no goods. EVRI tracking says the received on the 28th June. Recommends wait 7 days from receipt then contact seller. Waited then LFC tells me system says wait 48hrs. 72hrs later still no package and now I’m being told to wait until 12th July for EVRI to double check. It’s an absolute joke. I could have got the same gear from another supplier at same price next day but chose to support the club. Ridiculous. Now waiting for an email to confirm if the package is lost or not. Can’t understand how it can be lost it never even went out for delivery according to EVRI tracking.

WARNING!

WARNING! DO NOT BUY CLOTHING FROM THESE GUYS. I bought the new LFC TOP Size XL and was shocked to see it measures awopping 48 INCH CHEST SIZE! There web site says this Is 2XL. A friend of mine also purchased the same top last week and size XL- and theirs measures a wopping "FIFTY INCH CHEST" Size! For £100 youd expect a good fit, lets face it - its only recycled nylon NOT SILK! TERRIBLE service.......

Ordered a shirt for sons 18th

Ordered a shirt for sons 18th, came creased. Sent it back, they resent the same shirt. I called them out, so they sent another which was worse than the first. Unwearable, bobbled printing and worse thing I've ever bought. Came packaged so small no wonder it is a disgrace.

I ordered two of the 22/23 infants kits…

I ordered two of the 22/23 infants kits on 13/5 to be dispatched after 19/5. I had an email saying they'd be delivered on 15/5 so I was looking forward to it. Parcel arrived containing only one, paperwork and online stated two had been shipped so I panicked because of reviews on here thinking I wouldn't get my kit or money back. I contacted the live chat feature on the website on the 16/05 to which I was asked if the package was damaged at all which it wasn't and the lady told me she would dispatch the missing one the same day. Missing one arrived today. Fab service and I really don't know what people are complaining about.

Happy with their customer service

Happy with their customer service, contrary to the comments I have read. The website purchasing was a bit tedious process. However, I called their team for support and they were lovely, although, the quality of the item wasn't what I have expected when arrived. Overall, I had a lovely customer experience but was not much happy with the product quality.

Terrible customer service

I bought a gift of a polo shirt for my partner. I did buy it before his birthday and when he tried on it was too small. I emailed to see if I could exchange it for a larger size and was bluntly told I could not have a refund and they don't do exchanges as its over the return period. This was over by a couple of days as most people buy presents before the occasion. I was happy to send it back and purchase another in the right size but still received a really rude response stating no. Terrible customer service and I won't ever buy from them again.

3 weeks and still no delivery

Horrible service - 3 weeks I’m waiting which was supposed to be delivered by Friday according to their site. I’m located in Europe , even deliveries from China and USA come faster than the ones from Liverpool. After getting few times in chat with support today I finally saw in the delivery tracking that package is back in UK after being 2 weeks in France??? I contacted again customer service and they told me the package was returned due to incorrect invoice ??? No apologies , nothing … I don’t even know if I will ever receive this package … it was for birthday present in January …

19 days and counting still no order!!!!

I ordered two children's caps for my neice and nephew, I ordered the caps at the beinging of January (10th) and they are due to visit on 28th January. I thought this would be plenty of time, It isnt!
First I had to chase the order up on ther "chat" which kicked me out a number of times! I eventually got on and was told the order was lost, it was reordered on 26th Jan and I was told it would be an express delivery, however when i checked on the 27th ( no update from LFC) I was told it would be 2-3 days due to covid. I cant believe it such poor poor service and told be told that the person on the chat that there was nothing that could be done but to return them when they come! I am a Red and attend the match, I wouldn't buy anything from the LFC on line store again!

Shocking service

Shocking. I was given a 2022 desk calendar as a gift - looks great, apart from at least two of the months are naff because the stat details on the player featured are wrong. I have not checked any more details. The shops initial response was ‘oh yes, we’ll change it’ . They then asked for an order number - I was embarrassed to ask the person who gave me the gift....the shop lost interest and have ignored my recent communications to them . Shame they are letting down a great team and great organisation . Shocking customer service.

My wife bought a gift for me from the…

My wife bought a gift for me from the club shop in 2020. It wasn’t right so I returned it onto a gift card, which expired in November 21. I wasn’t able to use it given various Covid related issues last year and so it expired. I contacted the club recently to ask for it to be extended only to be told no. We were open for the majority of the year was what I was told. The issue of the card is the tip of the iceberg for me. The customer service is shocking and as a customer I have never felt valued by them. As previous comments on here have stated the staff are rude, abrupt and don’t know what the word empathy means. If this is just the staff then that’s bad enough but it’s not it’s a culture within the organisation. We are Liverpool and so we don’t need to accommodate customers because more will come. Such arrogance in their approach to selling their overpriced merchandise. I won’t use their shops again and I’m a avid red.

The club wants to increase commercial…

The club wants to increase commercial revenues yet products in their own store for home/away/third kits is always out of stock whereas same stocks available through other outlets. How can that be good for the club of this magnitude. This needs looking into by Club and fast especially fans experience and poor reviews on this site.

Worst shop experience ever. Worst people ever!

I mean I have no idea where to start. I have been ordering from Liverpool fc shop for YEARS and EVERY time there is an issue… either broken or missing items. Customer service is THE WORST I have ever experienced! Every single person is rude, not helpful, blunt and some of them even end the chat early without sorting it for you.

I don’t normally leave these reviews but enough is enough.
