The stove rope stated self adhesive but when you removed the backing tape it also removed all the glue so you would be well advised to buy glue at the same time

You ordered 010/EY51 – Charnwood Clamping Plate. On our website, we clearly provide the part number along with the specific Charnwood stove models that the part fits. This fitment information is available on the product page before the item is added to the basket and purchased, specifically so customers can check that the part is correct for their stove.
Unfortunately, you did not check the fitment information before placing your order and subsequently ordered the wrong part. We appreciate that you initially found the product through a Google search, but once you reached our website, the correct compatibility information was clearly provided.
We have also explained that Google Shopping determines which products it displays against individual search queries. We provide Google with detailed product information, but we cannot control which product Google chooses to display first.
We have offered you the option of returning the incorrect part to us for a refund, so we have also done everything we can to resolve the situation.
We are always happy to help customers identify the correct spare part if they are unsure before ordering. However, in this instance, the part was correctly listed on our website, the applicable models were clearly stated, and the wrong part was ordered because the fitment information was not checked.

Good but expensive delivery charge.
Easy ordering process.
Fast delivery.
But charged £20 for delivery to Oban postcode.
No real reason as it is not an island or particularly remote.
I thought that these kind of regional charges were a thing of the past very few carriers or large companys use them anymore.

After making an order soon after I got a email telling me that the item I had ordered was out of stock and that they were waiting on new stock to come in. And asked if I wanted to cancel and get my money back or proceeds with my order. Told them i would proceeds and thanked them for the heads up.
