Avoid this company!
Upgraded by mistake my account and after 5 min I contacted support for refund. But they do not want to give my money back claiming they give credits.

Fraudulent Charge

We canceled our account, which was on an annual auto-renewal with our credit card. Strikingly then made an unauthorized charge to our credit card. When we addressed this issue with Strikingly, they said they could only give us a credit (for their website). This is unacceptable. This is theft. After going back and forth for a couple months, we have still not received a refund due to Strikingly telling us that we have to take additional steps and them claiming that they can't cancel our account. This company is a scam that I now regret utilizing.

I WAS (past tense) quite happy with Strikingly.

I was quite happy with Strikingly.
Was.
Past tense.
I have used Strikingly for about two years now for several different e-commerce websites, and there's really no non-blunt way to say this. Prior to December 28, 2022, their product was stellar. After December 28, 2022, their service has consistently failed, and failed, and failed again.
Once, it was a delightfully easy-to-use website builder, which enabled users to quickly and easily post products, accept payment, and connect multiple different payment gateways while receiving (and responding to) customer inquiries, all with an easy interface.
That changed.
Whatever Strikingly did on 28 December, 2022, whether it was installing a new IT chief or moving their office somewhere new or changing ownership or whatever, they put a gun to their own brand and pulled the trigger.
It is no longer a matter of "occasional glitches." It has reached the point where if a customer actually manages to complete an order without some form of technical glitch (items vanishing from carts, a credit card option not appearing, a payment not being properly processed), then an actually successful sale is the exception rather than the norm. I am approaching my 90th day of my customers being repeatedly and consistently unable to use Strikingly's payment gateways. And on the EXCEEDINGLY rare occasion an order does actually go through, it INVARIABLY is followed by a period of the domain name disconnecting from the website, which requires a lengthy conversation with Strikingly's customer service department (the only ones in the company who are, I'll admit, superior to those I've dealt with from their competitors) to fix a DNS log that did not get updated.
In addition, whenever I try to respond to on-site messages, Strikingly gives me an error message saying that I cannot send the email because their almighty filter has decreed that I am sending spam.
The machine, is telling the Human, "you are spam."
And Strikingly's excuse is "we are using an AI algorithm that is learning and developing its filter." I do not actually give a baboon's buttocks about the machine's learning curve. The fact that the customer needs to earn the machine's permission before sending an email is not only insulting to Strikingly's customers but it makes their customers incapable of responding to our own.

I cannot begin to calculate the customers I have lost through Strikingly's consistent string of failures in the past three months.

I keep being told that they are making some form of adjustment to new servers and whatnot and that they are trying to fix these omnipresent technical failures. I hope so, because I'd really like to deal with the Strikingly I was happy with before 2023 began.

Striking Out with Strikingly

Oh, if only a big fat ZERO were possible! Took them a whopping 3 months for two snazzy websites that, surprise surprise, didn't even work. "Happiness" officers? More like Misery Makers. Near the end of my torturous journey, guess who popped up? The "CEO" with a desperate plea to renew my agony. Big NOPE! Run far, far away, folks. It's a premium disaster waiting to happen!

They robe their customers with abusive…

They robe their customers with abusive terms of service.
I paid for a full month. As i didn't want to continue the next month, i stop the renewal.
But they stop the service because they said it is immediate, even if you already paid for it.
No possibility to change it, if you make this mistake it's on you, you have to pay another full month if you want to use the service you already paid.

I haven't heard of this company before…

I haven't heard of this company before nor I tried their software yet. One web developer has recommended strikingly to me for building a website without knowing how to code. I will try this service.

They are fraud company

They are fraud company. They charged yearly subscription because their cancellation button don't work but you have to go to chat after pressing the button. And if you don't see that they charge yearly subscription and don't want to refund.

Continuous spam emails from their team...

You can opt out and report them as spam all you want, but they will still tell you that other companies, including us, benefit from them. I asked to be removed from their mailing list, but they disregard my request since they believe they can continue contacting me in some capacity.

Cancelled my website with Happiness…

Cancelled my website with Happiness officer. Asked her to cancel also my domain as it is their own, asked to cancel my email address too. She confirmed all is done. Today I was charged for domain, won’t get a refund. They intend to continue the money for domain although I closed down account last month.
Apparently it is not their domain, but has been for the last 4 years. Officer today was not willing to help. He claims he can’t access my account.
Stay away from this company if you can.

Non stop spam emails that are automated. Even on their website chat, it is an automated spam bot I am talking to.

There doesn't seem to be a way to stop them from emailing me! I just get an automated response pushing for me to sign up!

I've paid to get some help building a website and I've gained no traction in over a week. There's no phone calls and they email you every few days with a response. I've emailed them twice with the same requests and no answer. Do not use their website building services there is no accountability or communication.

Spam as a service keeps sending emails despite opt out

Despite opting out and reporting as spam they reply that other businesses like us make money with them. I already told them to eliminate me from the mailing list but they don’t act accordingly, they think that is acceptable to keep writing despite the opt out. It’s the most annoying kind of spam.

Strikingly Good At Non-Stop Spamming

Since August 30th, we have been continuously bombarded with cold emails from Allen Flores-Beltran, Director of Partnership at Strikingly.

Despite several requests to stop sending the same copy/paste email, which implies we'll be rich if we join their sleazy affiliate program, they've continued to do so.

These are all duplicate, automated emails and shares how much they've paid a single affiliate - it's sleazy.

They even replies with automated emails when asked to stop sending them. I would never do business with a company that behaves like that.

Prolific spammers

These are all the same, automated emails. He even replies with automated emails when asked to stop sending them. I would never do business with a company that behaves like that.
