We’ve used Swisscare Schengen Insurance twice now and couldn’t be happier. Signing up is straightforward and the cover is very reasonably priced compared to other options. Unfortunately, I had a serious cycling accident in Europe this year requiring helicopter evacuation, ICU, surgery, and a hospital stay. All major costs were settled directly with the hospital so we had no out-of-pocket expenses. All other expenses like medication and follow-up treatments we paid upfront, submitted the receipts once we returned to Australia, and were reimbursed quickly . The whole process was smooth and stress-free — we’ll definitely use Swisscare again and recommend them to anyone travelling to Europe who wants peace of mind.

I am Brazilian and will be spending a year in Milan. I am unable to purchase the insurance and I need it for my visa. No one is responding to me.

Well. I must say I'm utterly disappointed and I would never recommended this insurance company to anyone ever.

They have zero customer support. It's almost impossible to contact them.

I've have an insurance claim with them for over 1 month.

So far, I have got zero communication from them.

I already tried contacting them.

Still nobody has replied to me.

At this point I'm not even expecting my claim to be reviewed.

And to anybody out there thinking of buying insurance with them.

YOU ARE likely to get zero coverage or help from them.

Applied for this insurance for a visa and my application required I buy this before I have the visa granted. Application was rejected at the visa centre. Swiss were helpful and processed my refund quickly once I had proof my application was refused. Very happy with the service I received 👍

We used Swiss Travel Health coverage during our transition time when moving from the U.S. to the EU. I had a couple of doctor visits during that time and three expenses. They covered them in full or at the 80-90% level with zero issues. Very positive experience.
