Before I start, I want to make it very clear that my helper was amazing, and this review has absolutely nothing to do with him. He arrived exactly when he was scheduled to at 8:29 AM and was professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I was told that the main person had instructed him to be there at 8:30 AM, but he had not been informed that the job had been pushed back. I was also told that this was not the first time something like this had happened.

Unfortunately, the main person assigned to my move was an entirely different experience. He was scheduled to arrive at 8:30 AM but did not show up until approximately 12:30 PM. Because my helper had another job scheduled afterward, I ended up having to pay him extra due to the delay, which was an additional and completely avoidable expense.

I only had one day available to get everything moved, so having my move pushed back until almost 5 PM was extremely stressful and disruptive. I repeatedly asked when the main person would arrive, and the communication made it seem as though the delay was somehow my fault, when I later learned that he had scheduled another job before mine.

I had also paid for two people and made it very clear beforehand that I needed two people for the entire job. Instead, we ended up having to wait even longer while he went to pick up his uncle. His uncle was actually very kind and professional, but the main person’s attitude throughout the day was incredibly rude and uncomfortable. He was frequently huffing and puffing, rolling his eyes, barely acknowledging me, and walking away while I was speaking to him. At one point, I asked if I could add something to the move. He did not say anything; he simply dropped the bag and walked away. This was the general attitude throughout the entire experience.

My mother and I were honestly shocked by how uncomfortable the situation became. I also overheard him speaking negatively about us and complaining about how much stuff we had. I’m moving — of course I have a lot of things. That is literally why I hired a moving service.

There were also items that were not completed because I was told they were “not his responsibility,” despite my understanding of what I had paid for. On top of everything else, I overheard conversations involving inappropriate/crude comments that made me extremely uncomfortable in my own home.

Overall, this was one of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever had. The delay, lack of communication, attitude, and behavior were completely unacceptable. I would never use this service again, and I strongly recommend that management address this employee’s conduct and the way jobs are being scheduled.

Again, I want to emphasize that the helper who arrived on time was wonderful and professional. My issue is specifically with the main person in charge of my job and the way the situation was handled.

Movers broke my TV by horribly packing. Why would you put a TV at the bottom and heavy boxes on top when I called? They said that they couldn’t provide me any refund for the TV on a claim so I’ve escalated it to the specialist department. I’m expecting a full refund for the service due to breaking a 65 inch flatscreen
