I don't usually leave reviews but on this occasion felt I must. I had been looking for a new pond filter set up having moved to a property that had a non functioning system and murky water. I had finally chosen what I wanted and looking at prices found that the Pond Guy had the lowest price, but had not seen them turn up in my previous searches. I found out they are a new company, just starting out when I called as I couldn't find hose on the web site. Matt was quick to answer when I phoned and said that he could add it to the order for delivery tomorrow, this was mid-day so I told him what I wanted by email with a couple of questions and a payment link and answers to my questions. The supplied items were at a lower cost than other providers so no complaints from me. As promised they arrived next day on a pallet which was transported to the back garden. I was expecting it to be dropped kerb side. The pallet was well packed and wraped.

So to sum up great, honest and efficient service with advice at a great price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend That Pond Guy/Matt and will use them again when I need further items.

Web site told me what I needed to know
pump works great. With the variable output I am able to run the pump at 70% saving electricity with same output as the pump i replaced.
Shipping was fast, a no fuss service. I would use That pond guy again.

The team at That Pond Guy provided the stock level instantly, order placed and arrived the next working day via APC. APC even dropped the item off at our safe place, which most delivery teams fail to adhere too. Look forward to buying more products in the near future.

Decided after advice to remove my 20 year leaking liner and have the pond fibreglass. Naterlie and Bill arrived on the agreed start date the Internet arrival time system they use is fantastic it allows you to get on with things and not have to keep thinking where are they
Everything happened very quick and by the end of the 1st day we were left with a clay hole
Fish housed in a temporary tank and 20 tonne of rocks removed. Then came the unforseen the next stage should have been to render the pond this became a problem having had heavy rain fall the water table had risen and started leaking into the pond every effort was made to dry the pond out.At all times we were kept informed we didn't fill abandon and after many visits the works was completed to a high standard under very testing weather condition thanks to Naterlie Bill and Matt for all your hard work. If you are looking for any pond works give these guys a call 10 out 10

Good advice.
My pond was so green that I couldn't see the fish.My neighbour recommended using regular liquid barley straw.I spoke to Matt about this and he suggested installing an Oase Filtral UVC 9000 Pond Filter Kit.This has now been running for a few days and the pond is certainly getting clearer.I am not using the fountain attachment but the flow of water from the pump disturbs the surface of the water which helps aeration and will also stop ice forming in cold weather.

Needed a pump for a project we were doing, I called the pond guy and he advised me on what we needed, we ordered the pump it was delivered promptly and he called me to make sure everything was ok

Everything - from first contact with Matt at That Pond Guy through the discussions of what I required & then the hard working , courteous team who turned my concrete base where my old shed stood into a beautiful pond .

The service we had was excellent though quite pricey. They came in December as arranged and cleaned the pond and tried to fix the liner however it was decided that was not possible as there was too many leaks. They gave us advice and several quotes offering different solutions so we could choose. I felt the communication was excellent and the workers worked very hard in renovating the pond to a lovely high standard.
I would definitely recommend them again

Fabulous service from the initial point of contact right through to appointment day. The team arrived on time, did a fabulous job of cleaning and tidying the pond, repaired pump, replaced fountain and left the site superbly clean. I contact this company on Monday, then they told me that they will come and visit on Thur, so I waited and reconfirm them on Wed, then they suddenly told me that they are not coming, so I asked when they will come, they said Fri or Sat, then I keep chasing them when will be the exact date and time, then they never response. I do not know why their review is so good. Base on how they treat customer, the review is not trustable. My feeling is if you do not want to come or do not want to do business, you can say to me, that is no problem, there is no way to waste a person's time. I did ask them if they really interested in the project or not and they replied they are still interested. I really do not know why they have to treat human being like that.

Lining - 5 stars. Not so paving.
29th August - Lifting and cleaning the surrounding slabs, relaying the surrounding paving back down and bedding them in as they were originally
20th October - Crazy paving is notoriously hard to lay
29th August - We will bring a selection of new plants with us for you to consider. In one of the pots we will plant water mint, and at the correct depth it should do very well.
17th October - Two purple irises. No mint. I accepted the large amount of cement with stones as opposed to paving which was supposed to go back down because I had no idea how to sort out anything else in the time available. The next morning it was clear how much cement there was and how unappealing it was.
All complaints dealt with (with delays) by email.
