Avoid. Noticed plasticy flimsy feel to both components on unpackaging. First attempt to load into Mac the driver said the photostick was 'broken'. Now won't even load up the omni driver. Tried in iphone as well - same dud result. Off to shops...... don't want this near any of my photos or kit.

I was so stressed after placing order before clarifying shipping and billing addresses. I immediately reported the error and was amazed at how fast it got resolved! The Omni does not Function on Mobile Devices. When I use the app it gives an error message telling me I selected the wrong drive.Then I am advised to watch the training video again. I cannot proceed as displayed on the video. On my imac it worked for me but would not work for my wife's user site. On my iPad the Omni would not even light up the stick. Removing the Omni and using my Apple Lightning connector instead I plugged the Optistick into it and the backup commenced as expected. I am now waiting for it to complete backup. Conclusion - the Omni connector is a dud. Don't waste your hard earned money on the Omni.

I purchased the 128G Photo Stick 6 months ago, loaded photos and when I went to open it last month it wouldn’t open. Took it to a software repair and they said it was unusable. Contacted Photo Stick and they were unwilling to stand behind their product. I have lost my photos and no longer can use something I paid considerable $$ for. Do not trust this product !!

What this company does very well is they respond quickly to your message’s and then work favorably to resolve any issues you may encounter. The package says it works with Mac OSX 10.6 or newer. My Mac is OSX 10.11. The error message I get states that the product requires 10.13 or newer. I reached out with photos to customer service requesting refund or replacement. They asked for the information I had already provided. I sent it again. They asked for a screen shot of the message from my computer. I sent it. They replied that their product would not work with my computer. REALLY? The reps I corresponded with (Aica, Alkyl, and Chas) were extremely unhelpful and frustrating. The emails gave me the option of leaving a review for the support but that site doesn't work either. No big surprise there. This company does NOT stand behind their product.

Rachel is the member of the customer service and support team that made my experience a great one. She went above and beyond in helping me accomplish my task. The Xtra-PC Ultra is a great product. Good turnkey solution for older computers. It extends the usable life of them!

I ordered and paid for my Photo Stik in December 2023 and it is now April 2024 and I have not received it. If you are not willing to provide my stick please return my money or provide my Stik.I have read reviews and realise I am not the only one who has not received the Stick.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. Ghine was unhelpful, inconsistent, and lacked the ability to provide a solution to my request. It seemed as if I was talking to an AI bot instead of an actual human. I would actively advise any future customers of this company to save your time, energy, and money.

I connected it to my computer (iMac) and it took a long time to backup 58 GB (about 12 hrs).
When I tried to use it for my iPad it didn’t work. It did not connect and I tried everything believe me. And same story for my I-phone; no connection.

I purchased two omni 4.0 photosticks as Christmas gifts. Neither of them worked. They copied some files and then just stopped working without finishing the job. I contacted customer support and it took them one hour while I waited for them to come up with a solution which they never did. They sent me one replacement which also did not work then told me I could not return the ones I originally bought as 30 days had passed. I am out $179 for two worthless items.

The truth is that the PhotoStick is nothing more than an overpriced thumb drive with an app. There is apparently one for Windows PC's and another for Apple products. Biggest difference is that the format on the thumb drive in not compatible between the two. When it works, the app does not find photos in the cloud (iCloud, Google Drive, DropBox, etc). Seems to do a fair job finding photos and videos on the hard drive. The organization they boast about is not automatic and there is little, if any, documentation on it. If you call Customer Service they reluctantly agree to send a replacement as the standard "fix" for all problems. They did send me instructions on requesting a "RETURN AUTHORIZATION" however they do not ever respond to the request. Buyer Beware!

The Photostick cannot put the photos/videos on the stick in date order with a Mac based system at this time. So your photos/videos will be in completely random order. The first customer support person I asked about this issue sent me a solution for a Windows based system. Ignoring the fact that I had said about needing a Mac based solution. The second support person was far more upfront and honest about this issue. So, yes, it backs up your photos and videos but that's it for Mac based systems. I would not recommend for a Mac based system at this stage.
