Don’t bother ordering these come from China and take ages. The sizing is all wrong. A large men’s shorts are more like a small or extra small. Return costs are charged to the customer. Not worth the hassle and the shorts aren’t good quality either

The goods were very low quality, poorly designed (large patch pockets below knee level?), badly made, and made out of material which felt unpleasant to handle or wear. Made in China and despatched from there , unable to return because the only label (on the garments themselves) was all in Chinese characters. I was invited by "Camille" in customer services of the Southern Atelier to place a review in return for £125! I did not respond except to delete this offer - the second time she contacted me I deleted and unsubscribed. This is not a company I want any dealings with.

Website easy to use and ordering process straight forward. Although the delivery was a tad slow as I take it was imported, however the quality was perfect. I ordered 2 pairs of cargo shorts for holiday and was very happy with them, thank you.

The service was great the shirt sizes were very small fitting. More like a medium than an xl.

Great product and delivery was quick

Ordered 2 polo shirts in xxl size when delivered were sized to fit a 12 to 14 year old
Complained and was offered a 20% refund and keep the substandard and too small polos rather than refund the cheap totally wrong size shirts
Never deal with the his company again

The Southern Atelier company.
I ordered 2 mens Large polo shirts that took weeks to arrive from this company
Once they arrived the shirts that had been sent had a ( L ) label in them but the actual shirt would not even fit my 10 year old grandson.
After raising the issue with the company for a return or replace option.
1 - I was only offered that I pay another £4.95 for them to post another 2 shirts to me. With no guarantee that the next delivery would be correct.
2 - return the items back to china at my expense before a credit would be issued.
3 - accept a 20% credit and keep the smaller shirts.

The company is based in Europe not china. Why am I being asked to return the incorrectly package items back to china from where this company must have purchased them from.
Saving them from doing so.

I had good communications with them. However asking the purchaser to return incorrectly supplied goods at the expense of the purchaser totally incorrect.
I'll just put it down to experience.

BUT BE WARNED
Don't trust in what your getting from this company.
And DON'T BELIEVE THEIR RETURNS POLICY.

website gave me a good overview of the ceramic item I was looking for - plenty of photos ,product specifications and other similar products. I felt confident in my choice and was pleased when it arrived only a few days later. It was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition!

Ordered 6 weeks ago, didn’t show up and nobody answers the phone. It’s a scam company

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS.

They provide poor and incorrectly sized products and don't comply with UK consumer laws. Customer service just offer discounts and not a return service they are obliged to offer. Working to have them removed from social media for misleading advertising.

Shopping with The Southern Atelier has been very efficient and a pleasure. However, the glasses I bought have been a disappointment. On the website you cannot see the ugly bulbous dip in the bottom of the glass. So the aesthetic has spoilt them for me unfortunately. I would have returned them, but by the time I realised, all packaging had been discarded.

The customer service girl was nice but I doubt it was her real name

A lovely break from the norm in terms of selection and some lovely items for the kitchen were purchased on the first visit. Delivery was smooth and the overall quality of the beautiful mugs and oil decanter were exceptional. Fantastic store experience end to end. Highly recommended!

The bath robe was unfortunately a little small for me, but I love it, so have already ordered the next size (with the discount yesterday) - I will now check details for the return and refund of the smaller one. Thank you

I ordered a rustic mug from southern atelier. Twice it arrived with a broken handle. The third time, smashed to pieces, despite the 'fragile' sticker. The shipping agent clearly handled it very roughly, perhaps even throwing it against a wall to ensure it was thoroughly broken.

Beautiful wine glasses, I did have a little issue with one of the glasses but emailed to explain and the customer service was great!
Looking forward to receiving my replacement and I will be ordering more wine glasses! Highly recommend.

The glasses took neatly 2 weeks to arrive because the company is based in The Netherlands but they are beautiful glasses, so elegant with the long thin stems so they were worth waiting for. I did think they might come in a nice box as they were for a gift but instead arrived packed in polystyrene and bubble wrap so they were very well protected. The recipient was really happy with his gift.

The ceramic mug was beautiful, if somewhat smaller than anticipated. Unfortunately it was damaged during transit. I contacted SA and they offered an immediate replacement. I chose a refund instead as the replacement would not arrive in time for my husbands birthday. The refund was processed immediately.
