Harry has been fantastic and so was the overall experience with the company.

A few tips to add:
- Charging by time, as the The Yellow Van Company does (as opposed to charging by volume) has both its advantages and disadvantages. The price I paid with TYVC was very competitive (in fact it was the best quote I got) yet it is very easy to underestimate the time you need for a move. I was lucky enough that my move was finished exactly in 3 hours that I paid for, but it could have easily taken considerably longer.
- Even though I was moving just 1 bedroom flat, in hindsight I wish I booked a 2 man team rather than just one mover, as it would have been well worth the money. I’m a reasonably strong and fit person, but having to carry heavy boxes for 2 hours (in order to stay within the time I initially paid for) in close to 30 degrees outside is no joke.

Honestly amazing - Harry was so helpful, making a very hot and large move manageable - would 100% use again!

They both took great care of all my stuff and good help when there was a mix up with my storage place. Highly recommend.

This is my 6th or 7th time with YellowVan, I've moved too much in the last 8 years, but can always thrust this company for good service. Harry and Neil were on time, very friendly and informative, we had a good plan in place once seeing the narrow stairs. The move went well and until next time YellowVan!

⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – Absolute Scam, Damaged Belongings, & Zero Responsibility!
I am writing this review to strongly warn everyone: DO NOT book this company. If you do, expect your belongings to be broken, your money stolen through deliberate delays, and to be treated with absolute disrespect.
I used to use this service in the past, and my friends did too with good experiences, but their service now has hit rock bottom. It is utterly terrible.
Here is what happened during my move:
Deceptive Booking & Size Scam: I explicitly booked a van suited for a 3-bedroom property. When they showed up, they ridiculously claimed that their largest van only fits a 2-bedroom property! It is completely laughable. They lied during booking just to take the job, and then blamed ME for having "too many items" to evade responsibility.
Tardiness & Lazy Work: They were scheduled to arrive at 10:00 AM, but didn't show up until 11:00 AM. Once they arrived, they worked half-heartedly, handling everything carelessly, and destroyed my belongings in the process.
Deliberate Delay to Extort Money: I paid extra to book additional movers so the job would be done efficiently. Instead, they intentionally slacked off and dragged out the time just to push the clock over my booked hours so they could charge me extra money.
Zero Accountability & Disgusting Service: When items were damaged and issues arose, they completely denied responsibility and shifted all the blame onto me. When I tried to resolve this via email, they ignored me entirely and offered no compensation whatsoever.
I paid a substantial amount of hard-earned money, yet I was treated so poorly—it felt as if I was begging them for a favor rather than paying for a professional service.
Save your money, your sanity, and your furniture. Stay away from them unless you want your property destroyed and your money stolen!

Excellent service from start to finish, plus very reasonable cost. The two employees (Tom and Harry) turned-up on time and could not be more helpful. Removal companies are always like Russian Roulette....but not this time! Highly recommended.

Our driver Harry Cousins made the whole move completely pain and stress free and also made sure we didn’t run over our allotted window and that all our stuff was carefully wrapped and protected. Would definitely use again!
